I came up with this idea while watching a completely normal video about not body-shaming people, and this AU popped into my head, so I'm writing this now.

I hate the world.

It's showing people outfits and appearances I don't have. I can't walk in front of mirrors, or record myself, or do anything that would show people what I actually look like. Apart from the Sanders sides videos, which everyone always marvels over how different I look to what they see.

You may be confused, I live in a world where everyone sees a different version of you, what they view as "perfect."

Everyone but your soulmate.

I haven't found mine.

It's been taking forever, we all agreed to not talk about how we look to each other, although that was forgotten when we started to produce Sanders Sides videos.

I didn't want to, I didn't want to have to hear how everyone is changing how I look, how I look "So different."

Just the other day Patton complimented my "red" hair, it was purple.

I refuse to watch any of the videos, I don't want to make anyone feel how I do.

Instead of remembering to stay off social media the days right after producing "Dealing with Intrusive Thoughts," I forgot, and saw something I didn't expect.

Remus looks the exact same in his pictures that he does in real life.

"No, no way, not a chance."

Apparently Patton heard me, "What's wrong Kiddo?"

He knocked and came in my room, with extra freckles on his face, and a pink strand in his hair.

I showed him the picture of Remus.

"You broke your "no seeing all of us" rule?"

"No he looks the exact same as I saw him when we were in person!"

"Congrats Kiddo! You found your soulmate!" I could here the change in his voice, he was judging me, and questioning why.

"Not him, anyone but him."

"Maybe it won't be so bad Kiddo, you wanted someone who saw you as you, there you have it." After he tried to comfort me I could hear him say, "I knew there had to be a reason he was asking for you."

"I can't talk to him ever again. I can't go to another video, I can't-" Patton cut me off there.

"He's your soulmate Virgil, you have to go to him, talk to him."

I can't give in.

"I will bring him here if you don't go get him."

He's my soulmate, maybe it won't be so bad. He is crazy, but some of his jokes aren't that bad.

"Fine. I'll go."

As soon as I left my room Remus was on my ass.

"Virgil, please let me talk to you. I know we haven't talked in forever, but we really need to talk!"

"So speak then." I was trying to sound like I wasn't anxious.

"You look the exact same in the video as you do here in front of me, I've only watched the one I was in because I wanted to laugh at my jokes, but then you popped up and I've been asking Patton to see you for the last hour, but he wouldn't let me. I knew you had to be the one the moment you showed up, but we all made that pact to not talk about how we look, so I just sat there, and-" Remus continued to talk for a while, and I let him just talk, and I listened, and then I just kissed him.

He smiled and kissed me back.

We turned on a movie and hung out for a while afterwards.

Well, this was cute, it is really weird to write Remus and Virgil getting along, but my brother gave me the ship and I wrote it. Thanks for reading this! And I swear I'm working on the suggestion I got.
