I was hanging out with Patton. Ya know, like friends do. Patton was talking about puppies and kittens, and once he gets started he doesn't stop until you stop listening.

"Oh and I saw this really cute puppy the other day it had black fur... "

I tuned out some of what Patton was saying, just watching him talk so passionately about puppies.

"So the dog with the brown long fur walks up and plays with the dog with brown fur... "

He's talking with such emotion, I wish I could do that...

"So I was, Virgil, Virgil are you listening?"

"What? Huh? Yeah... "

"Please don't lie Virgil"

I sighed "No, I wasn't listening, you are just too cute. And I love you... "

"Aww, thanks!"

"Wait? I said that out loud?"

"Yeah, you did."

"Oh gosh, he's never going to like me back, oh f*ck" I started to panic "Uhh I'll be in my room!" I ran off to my room. I was practically crying. I had just ruined a great friendship with a great friend. I pushed through my door, my head was racing with thoughts.

"Anxiety?" Patton knocks on the door "Anxiety, please open the door kiddo!"

"I-I don't want to talk right now... "

"Okay, but I just wanted to say, I love you too."

"Okay" Patton starts to walk away.

"Wait, Patton?"

"Yes kiddo?"

I just hugged him "You said you liked me back, right?"

"Yes I did, yes I did."

We kissed, and you could hear Roman screeching in the background.

That night was one of the best nights ever.

How was my second one-shot?

I thought this was cute! Also sorry for any mistakes, it's 1:10,but I'm not tired enough.
