This time around, we're going to talk about Virgil and his opposite. Since it's pretty much confirmed that Virgil was a dark side, I'm calling his opposite his light side, okay? Okay. As stated in my original theory, Virgil's light side represents Thomas' carelessness and inner daredevil.

I'll give some hypothetical backstory first. Keep in mind, this happens just before the first sander sides video.

Originally at least, Virgil's light side was friends with the others because he seemed nice enough and he would anything for Thomas' friends. Soon enough though, it became apparent that he didn't have good intentions and could possibly get Thomas killed so Logan banished him to the dark side of the mind palace. (He didn't tell Patton because he would probably say something like "Come guys, give him a chance!" and he didn't with Roman because they were friends)

Around the same time, Virgil was with the dark sides and was in a close 'Friendship' with Deceit but he began getting bullied by his fellow darks because they caught him trying to save Thomas' life. The only dark side who treated him with anything close to respect was Remy. After a while, his light side came by and it was sort of the last straw for him so after the second episode he used his magic to break into the light sides place.

The light sides were cautious at first but Patton quickly grew attached to him so they dealt with it. Roman, still being salty about his friend leaving, made a video that antagonized him and the rest is history.

This side has made an appearance before in accepting Anxiety part 1 and a bit in part 2. When Virgil ducked out he could freely control Thomas but couldn't appear physically. (I believe that Deceit and Virgil are the only dark sides who can materialize themselves in the mind palace because they are strong enough to potentially overpower their opposites. Of course, Logan and Roman's opposites can overpower them but not as easily.)

He tried to get Thomas into a dangerous daredevil mindset but fortunately the other sides weren't having it. Roman still missed his friend and thought this was the only way to get him back but was forced to go on the rescue mission by the other two. During the ending of the episode, Roman finally accepts not only Anxiety or Virgil but also comes to terms with the fact that his friend was not a good side.

Quickly though before I go, I think the only reason Remy (Roman's current dark side in this theory) hasn't really shown up besides from the Roman's twin app thing is because he doesn't really do his job.
