The rooftop was eerily quiet, the city skyline stretching out in every direction. The wind tugged at my fur, and my tail flicked nervously as I waited. GXDeath had summoned me here, and I wasn't sure what to expect. But one thing was clear-this wasn't going to be a friendly chat.

I adjusted the grip on my OA 2311™, the pistol feeling heavy in my hand. My ears twitched at the sound of footsteps behind me, and I turned to see him.

GXDeath.

He was tall, cloaked in a dark, flowing coat that seemed to blend into the shadows. His face was hidden behind a sleek, futuristic mask, its glowing red visor giving him an almost inhuman appearance. He moved with a calm, deliberate grace, like a predator stalking its prey.

GXDeath: *coldly* You're late, Krabo.

Krabo: *narrowing my eyes* I didn't know we were on a schedule. What do you want?

GXDeath tilted his head, the red visor glinting in the moonlight.

GXDeath: You've been asking questions. About your father. About the sandbox system. About... everything.

My heart skipped a beat. How did he know about my father?

Krabo: *Growling* What do you know about my dad? Tell me!

GXDeath chuckled, a low, menacing sound that sent a shiver down my spine.

GXDeath: I know everything, pup. Your father's disappearance. His work with Westwood/EA. The truth behind the sandbox system. But I'm not here to give you answers for free.

Krabo: *Clenching my fists* Then why are you here?

GXDeath stepped closer, his presence overwhelming.

GXDeath: To test you. To see if you're worthy of the truth. So, let's make this simple. Fight me. Win, and I'll give you the answers you seek. Lose... and you'll never leave this rooftop.

I didn't hesitate. I raised my pistol and fired, the shot echoing across the rooftop. But GXDeath was faster. He sidestepped the bullet with ease, his movements almost too quick to follow.

GXDeath: *Smirking* Is that all you've got?

I growled and charged, using the sandbox system to spawn a knife in my free hand. GXDeath met me head-on, his movements fluid and precise. He blocked my strike with his forearm, the impact jarring my arm.

Krabo: *gritting my teeth* You're not the only one with tricks!

I reached out with the sandbox system, reshaping the rooftop beneath us. A section of the floor erupted, sending GXDeath stumbling back. I didn't waste the opportunity. I fired again, this time grazing his shoulder.

GXDeath: *grunting* Not bad, pup. But you'll have to do better than that.

He lunged at me, his movements a blur. I barely managed to dodge, his fist grazing my cheek. I countered with a slash of my knife, but he caught my wrist, twisting it until I dropped the blade.

Krabo: *wincing* Let go!

I kicked him hard, sending him stumbling back. I didn't give him a chance to recover. I reached out with the sandbox system again, spawning a barrier between us. GXDeath slammed into it, momentarily stunned.

Krabo: *panting* This ends now!

I charged forward, my pistol raised. GXDeath tried to dodge, but I was faster this time. I fired twice, the bullets hitting him square in the chest. He staggered back, his red visor flickering.

GXDeath: *chuckling weakly* Well done, Krabo. You've earned your answers.

He reached into his coat and pulled out a small, glowing file. He tossed it to me, and I caught it, my hands trembling.

Krabo: *Staring at the file* What... what is this?

GXDeath: Everything you need to know. About your father. About the sandbox system. About... me.

I looked up, but GXDeath was already gone, his form dissolving into shadows. The rooftop was silent once more, the only sound the wind rustling through my fur.

I opened the file, my heart pounding. The first image that appeared was a photo of my father, his face tired but determined. Beneath it was a single line of text:

"The sandbox system was never a game. It was a weapon. And you, Krabo, are the key to stopping it."

I clenched the file tightly, my tail swishing behind me.

Krabo: *Whispering* What have you gotten me into, Dad?

But there was no time to dwell on it. The fight was far from over, and I had a feeling GXDeath was just the beginning.
