Sand- 3
The sun that always shined brighter and more angryly in the Southern Continent was high in the sky as covered from head to toe figure walked inside the city. People there didn't look at the figure too much, itt was quite normal for people to cover themself in those light clothes to avoid the deadly sun after all.
But her head always looked down as the shall around her neck and head now covered even her face. She saw everything outside but no one saw her face. She needed to cover her eyes since no one could know who she was. No human shall know about the sandtribe.
She walked through the streets knowing every corner of it like the back of her hand, she knew where she was going first. She needed to meet with the infoormator of the sandtribe, the only outsider they keep contact with, and only one who seen beauty of the desert in centuries.
She moved the cloth that worked as doors as the interior if the place hit her view. The inn located inside the Suncrest City, the most famous one and the safest one there. The comfortable seats and low tables, that had various of people around it with various of traditional food and drinks there.
But the person she looked for was way back in the building, she made eyecontact with the waiter working there who nodded his head at her, and it was sign for her to head to the room in the back- which she did.
She opened the wooden doors of and welcomed the more western interior inside. Especially one person who looked nothing like people form this city. He was like her.
An outsider who made this place their home.
"Karim." she said with the calm voice. He was still outsider for her even though he was older then her, but he wasn't from the sandtribe.
"Neferi." the man with the carmel colored skin and balc like eyes stood up from his desk as soon as she said his name.
Cling. Cling.
The sound of many jewlery on him made sound as he approached the girl covered completly in clothes.
"Long time no see!" he laughed as he leaned on the desk facing her. "Finally here huh?" he added as he pinted out the fact that after many years she visited the Suncrest City.
"Cut the greeting." she sped up his long welcoming which she never liked. "Are they here?" she asked not wanting to wait for the group for a long time.
"Yes they are. They arrived hour ago." Karim said as he took one of the many papers on his desk in hand reading through it. "They waited here for a long time but i told them that you will meet them at the spot and you hated waiting for someone." he laughed at the irony, she made them wait for her.
"Good." she simply said and turned on her heel and walked out ignoring the calls of the man behind her. He was right she hated waiting for someone, and even more she hated when someone waited for her.
She spend month to travel through the desert to this city, she walked day and night, but she still was late because of her stops and Sand Wreith attacking her everynight to only stop when she was close to the city days ago.
Neferi noticed clearly looking outsiders thanks to their skin-tone and warious colors of their hair. Everyone from the group looked different from other, and maybe that made them look so intimidating? But she knew better, people from this group were strong, so strong it was scary.
Cale sighed waiting on the guide that was assigned to take them safely through the desert. He knew fully well who he waited for, the girl that was only mentioned in the Novel. Neferi from the sandtribe, there wasn't much writen about her, only that she met Choi Han once and refused to join.
The protagonist was refused to gain someone strong in his group, orginally he didn't want to go to another dessert but his plans changed. He needed to get his hands on something that can be found only there. The thing that can make the necromancer in his group even stronger.
"When will he show up?" Choi Han asked looking around him to notice anyone who will approach them to lead them to dessert like they were promised.
"You are this group right?" The soft but cold voice asked from person completly covered from head to toe. Choi Han looked at the person cerfully tasning up a little. Cale noticed it and agreed in his head, yes this girl was strong and Choi Han clearly noticed it too.
"Yes we are." Cale said and stood in front to greet this girl in front of his group.
Human this girl is strong! But don't worry, this great and mighty Raon Miru will protect you, weak human!
The dragon said in his head. He scanned the figure in front of him that did the same iwth his group and him.
"Let's go we already wasted time." she simply said walking in front, making the group follow her steps through the Suncrest city. "I have rules." she stared.
"We will make sure to follow them." Cale said seeing the catch,of course she will have rules.
"Don't talk with locals, most of them are scumbags who only want your money and will steal." she started as she took another turn through the crouded streets leading them through this crowd that slowly dissapeared.
"When we will be in desert, days away from the Suncrest city, at night don't leave my side, when i say dodge, you dodge, when i say hide, you hide." Neferi was serious, she promised one thing before leaving month ago, she promised that she will keep them alive.
"Why?" Cale asked. To the five volume there was only small mention of desert inside there, he knew close to nothing about this place, and those rules make him shover inside. How vicous...
"Desert at night is cold, dangerous thanks to monster that appear." Neferi explanation only made Cale regret his decisions a little, but he couldn't back down now when he was so close.
"Alright we will follow you miss-" Cale stopped waiting for this girl to introduce herself to the group, thenks to her fast doings they didn't even have time for introductions, but now when they faced the golden endless sand they stopped.
"I'm the next head of my people, the strongest warrior among all of us, Neferi."
Shwoosh.
The wind blew moving the scarf in front of her face showing her mouth as she said her name. The next leader... She wasn't the simple guide, often when tribes send someone as an guide they choose less improtant figures, but her precense here meant one thing. Desert was more dangerous then it seemed.
"My name is Cale Henituse." the red head man introdused himself smiling.
Human are you trying to scam her?
Raon's voice was like always ignored as Cale proceed to introduce his group that he chosen for this trip to dessert. He didn't take kittens with him, it was too long and too dangerous in his opinion for those children to be here with him.
"This is Ron, Beacrox, Choi Han, Roslyn and Lock." Cale introduced everyone with him well, almost everyone since Raon was still invisable next to him.
Neferi looked cerfouly at everyone remebering their face and name, but she also took note about one thing. There was something powrful with this group, something that was invisable for normal eyes.
"Nice to meet you all." she said and turned to her bag taking out many shalls that she had with her this entire time. "I'll help you put it on, clothes that you are wearing will be uncofortable in this heat and won't protect you're pale skin from the sun." she explained as she aproached the first person, the one who seemed like a leader. Cale.
"Thank you." Cale reached out his hand to take clothes from the girl that she handed all of them.
They all changed and to no suprise for Neferi none of them put on the shall, or wore it wrong. Neferi knew fully well that those people never in their life even tried to wear the Southern clothes, so she just let it go as she approached Cale once more taking his shall off.
"You need to wear it right, for it to not annoy you and protect you." She sighed as she wrapped the light cloth around this man and moved to others making sure they all were comofrtable with it.
"Those clothes are really light." Roslyn commented as she touched the fabric with her fingers noticing how soft it was and how light it felt on her compared to her usual clothes. "They anlso look really nice!" she complemented.
"Of course they are, it needs to be light for you not to swaet as much and to be more comfortable in it." Neferi huffed at the mage comment, but she felt pride at her prise in her people clothes.
"You can lead us now." Cale said.
