Error held onto his scarf tightly as he tries to shut out the voices of the anti-void...

Tears run down his face as he recalls the incident that led to his only sense of guidance being killed....

The vision never leaves his mind...it replays over and over again...

Error refuses to let anyone close again....he can't ever be sure they wint leave...

Trust is something error has very little to none of...hes too scared of letting go....

All of the sudden, a portal opening jars errors senses...ink was here...error could practically feel the mischief radiating off of him....

Error was silently pleading that ink would just leave...but that will never happen...ink never gives up. Ever.

Error could hear inks footsteps echoing through the anti-void...he could tell ink was angry...hes learned to take notice on all the things that hint inks emotions. That way he could be able to predict his reactions. It gave him a huge  advantage in battle...

Ink walked up to error...knowing full well he knew what his intentions were....

Ink pulled out his brush and sighed....

"Error..." ink said in a warning voice...

Error flinched visibly at the others tone...ink sounded....diffrent....

"W-what Ink...?" Error asked with slight annoyance in his voice....

Ink smirks and quickly teleports in front of error, catching him off gaurd...

Ink splashed purple paint over errors arms and legs...

Error shouts and protests grow quiet as ink puts a blanket over errors nose an mouth...

Ink WILL get answers....

_time skip, at inks place_

Error struggled in the chains as he awoke from a nightmare...more like a memory....

Once error realized he was tied up he began to panic....tears built in his eyes as the boundaries holding him down clash together as his moving gets more persistent...

Fear arises in the glitching skeletons soul as errors fill up his eyes...a noise could be heard from across the room only feeding into errors panic...

Ink inches closer to the struggling skeleton....ink was confused to say the least...why was he crying..?

Ink couldn't help but feel a small bit of sorrow for error...he is a sans...

Maybe there is more to error than he thought...?

Ink walked over to error and placed a hand in his shoulder...only for error to cry out in fear...and...Spanish!?..

"¡¡No me toques !!" Error yells as he struggles against the restraints....
(Dont touch me!!)

More tears gather in his glitched eyes...

Ink felt something ping in his soul...he needs to know what happened to make error so fearful of a single touch..

Quiet glitchy sobs echoed through the chamber...ink figures out quickly that error cant see due to the errors in his eyes...

Ink sighs...maybe...if he was calm...he would get answers....

"Error...I'm not going to hurt you....answer my questions and I will let you go..." ink says while slowly attempting to take a hold on errors hand...

Error flinched at the contact but relaxed a little bit due to inks currently calm aura....

Ink smiled softly at error, who's eyes were now starting to clear up....

"Error...I'm going to ask you some questions.." ink says and gently let's go of errors hand...surprisingly, error didn't seem to like that...due to the fact that he whimperd softly at the loss of contact...

"O-okay..." error says softly...not wanting to get hurt...

Ink quickly realized that error was in no way what he though of him...how could the monster in front of him be a destroyer..? He seems so...innocent...

Ink feels bad...he wonders what error has been through....no monster freaks out when someone touches them...

"Why do you destroy..?" Ink asks with a sad tone....

Error stayed silent and suddenly...tears formed in his eyes....ink took notice to this and took a hold of errors hand softly...

But...error couldn't take it anymore...he has to tell ink...he cant live with the guilt anymore....

"I-im s-sorry...!!! I-im s-so sorry! I-i never w-wanted to!!..." error sobs while looking down into his lap...tears streaming down his face quickly...

Ink froze as regret and sorrow filled his soul....

What does he mean...? Wait...was he...forced..?

Ink starts putting the pieces together....they slowly come together and form a mental timeline in his head....

Error WAS forced to destroy...

He vaguely remembers dream talking about a supposed balance...ince of witch the gods of the multiverse keep...

Some say it's a legend...some say it's a myth....

Ink only now realizes that It wasn't either of those...

It was simply the truth....

Ink felt horrible....

More and more peices came together as he puts together bits and peices of what information he has collected of error over all the years they've fought....

It all came together...somehow...its almost as if ink had just created a nev idea for an au...

Except the fact that the 'new timelije' has already been experienced and lived by another monster...

And the fact that that monster...was sotting right in front of him...sobbing and constantly apologizing for something he couldn't control...?

It breaks ink a little on the inside...

To think that he had it all wrong....to think he had been hurting an innocent monster this whole time....

He NEEEDS to fix this....

He needs to make this right..

"Error...I'm so so sorry..." ink says with a hurt voice..

Error looks at ink through tears with confusion....

"H-huh?.."  error asks while sitting up...still collecting himself...

Ink sighs....

"Let me help you...please..." ink says and places his hand out for error to hold...

Error flinches and stares at inks hand....he hesitantly inches his hand forward....

Error sighs and places his hand in inks softly....

Ink smiles and softly intertwines their fingers...

"I've figured it out error...I'm so sorry it took so long...I'm so so sorry...I promise
..I will help you....please...just let me..." ink says and looks at error with passion on his eyes...

Error looks at their hands...and back to ink....he slowly nods and shakes...

Hes free...hes finnaly free....he dosent have to destroy anymore...he wont suffer anymore....

Tears streamed from his eyes as a small smile formed on errors mouth...

Hes finally free....

_1 year later_

Error was seated on a cliff in outertale watching the stars...

They always calmed error...so much has happened latley...

Ink and error have truced...ink told the council about the balance...

Hes never been so happy in his life...he is finally free....

Error felt the cool breeze of outertale wash over him....

Ink was supposed to he here...hes probably just late. Like usual.

Error heard a shuffle from behind him and figured it was ink. It was to no surprise.

"Hey error!" Ink says with a small smile on his face as he sat down next to the glitchy skeleton.

Error smiled softly.

"H-hi inky!..." error says with a smile....

Inks smile drops as he hears the sadness in errors voice...

"Error..? Are you alright...?" Ink asks sadly...

Error sniffs as tears build in his eyes..

Error cant hold it in anymore...

Error almost jumps on ink and hugs him tightly....quiet sobs escape his mouth as he hide his face in inks shirt...

Ink blushes brightly and hugs error back immediately...he pulls the crying skeleton onto his lap and shushed him...he whispers sweet nothings into his ear and soothes him...

"Shh...error...its alright..."

"You're safe...I've got you..."

"Let it all out error..."

Ink whispers and caresses errors cheek...

Error blushes a light yellow and his sobs quiet down into little sniffles...

Ink smiles softly and kisses errors forehead....
