Chapter 1: The outbrust

"Aarohi Goenka, how can you even think of marrying this man?" Kairav's voice thundered, his words dripping with anguish and anger.

"This man who abandoned our Akshu when she was at her most vulnerable, after losing two innocent lives? How can you forgive him, Arohi? How can you forget the pain he inflicted on our family?" Kairav's eyes blazed with a fierce protectiveness, his face twisted in a mixture of pain and rage.

The room was electrified with tension as Kairav's emotions poured out. His voice echoed off the walls, his words hanging in the air like a challenge.

The Goenkas and Birlas watched in stunned silence, witnessing a side of Kairav they had never seen before.

They had always known him as the calm and composed one, but now he was a force to be reckoned with.

"Arohi, you're my sister, my responsibility," Kairav's voice cracked with emotion. "I failed Akshu, I couldn't protect her from this monster. But I won't fail you, Arohi. I won't let him hurt you, not while I'm still breathing." Kairav's fists clenched, his body trembling with restrained fury. He took a step forward, his eyes locked on Abhimanyu, who stood frozen, his eyes cast downward in shame.

"You don't know what he's capable of, Arohi," Kairav's voice dropped to a menacing whisper. "You don't know the pain he inflicted on Akshu, the way he crushed her spirit. And you're willing to marry him? You're willing to risk your own happiness, your own well-being, for this...this...monster?" Kairav's words were laced with venom, his anger and disgust palpable.

"Likh kar lele, Aaru," Kairav's voice rose again, his words echoing off the walls. "This man will destroy you, just like he destroyed Akshu. He'll leave you when you need him most, just like he left our sister. Mark my words, Arohi."

"Stop it! Kairav, don't forget that you are talking about my son," Manjiri shouted, her voice shrill with defensiveness, as she tried to shield Abhimanyu from Kairav's scathing words.

But Kairav was unfazed, his eyes blazing with anger and hurt. "Nhi bhula hoon, Manjiri ji," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Lekin shayad aap bhul gayi hai ki aapke is bete ne meri Akshu ke saath kya kiya tha." He pointed a accusatory finger at Manjiri, his words hanging in the air like a challenge.

Manjiri's face turned red with rage, but Kairav didn't back down. "Oh, oops! Sorry. Main bhi kisse keh raha hoon, jisne khud aapne bete ko yeh sab karne bola tha." The Goenkas gasped in shock, their eyes wide with surprise. They had never seen Kairav disrespect an elder before, but they didn't realize that he was giving Manjiri a much-needed reality check

Abhimanyu stepped forward, his face calm and composed. "I know that you are a brother, ek bhai ke liye uski behen sabse kimti hoti par tum jiss tarah se meri Maa se baat kar rahe ho, is not acceptable." He spoke in a measured tone, but Kairav just laughed out loud.

Kairav laughed out loud, a harsh, mocking sound. "Sahi kaha tumne Abhimanyu! Emotions mein behke badtameezi karne ka kuch bhi bol dena ka hakk toh sirf aapko hai naa!" Kairav's words were laced with sarcasm and contempt, his eyes blazing with anger and hurt.

Abhimanyu's face darkened, his jaw clenched in anger, but he kept his cool, refusing to rise to Kairav's bait. "Kairav, I understand that you are upset, but that's no excuse to speak to my mother like that," Abhimanyu said, his voice firm but controlled.

"Oh, you got hurt, Mr. Birla," Kairav said, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Tab to tumhe bura nahi laga jab tumhari yeh Maa, meri behen se ucchi awaaz mein baat kar rahi thi." The Goenkas shed tears, their hearts heavy with emotion, as Kairav's words cut deep into their souls.

"Bhai, hum iss baare mein baad mein bhi to baat kar sakte hai naa! Mimi ki party spoil ho rhi hai," Aarohi said, trying to intervene, but Kairav was beyond consolation. He was hurt, angry, and felt betrayed by his sister's decision.

"Abb agar baat nhi ki naa, aaru, to kabhi baat nhi kar paunga," Kairav said, his voice cracking with emotion. "Kitna chup rahu, Haan! Kya meri yaa iss parivaar ki koi importance nhi hai teri aur Akshu ki life mein?" He asked, his eyes welling up with tears. The pain and hurt in his voice were palpable, and the room fell silent, with all eyes on Kairav.

"Akshu ne shaadi karli aur ek phone call kardiyaa, ki aap meri chinta mat kijiye, Maine shaadi karli hai. Aur aaj tune bhi shaadi kaa faisala kar liye. You didn't even discuss with us, aaru," Kairav said, his voice shaking with hurt and anger.

He felt like he had been punched in the gut, his trust broken, and his heart shattered into a million pieces.

Kairav was on the verge of breaking down, his emotions raw and exposed. He glared at the Birla family with his red, bloodshot eyes, his gaze piercing and accusatory.

He felt like he was staring into the eyes of the devil himself, and he couldn't believe that his sister was willing to tie her life to such a man.

"Par yaad rakhna, agar tune iss aadmi se shaadi ki, to bhul jaiyo ki tera koi Kairav Bhai bhi tha," Kairav said, his words dripping with pain and betrayal.

The room fell silent, the only sound Kairav's ragged breathing, as he struggled to contain his emotions.

The weight of his words hung in the air, like a challenge, a warning, and a heartbreaking goodbye.

"Bhai!!" Aarohi cried, her voice trembling with emotion, as she reached out to Kairav, but he just stood there, his eyes fixed on some point beyond her, his face a mask of pain and betrayal.

Aarohi's eyes welled up with tears as she saw the hurt and anger in Kairav's eyes. She had never seen him like this before, and it broke her heart to know that she was the cause of his pain.

The room was silent, the only sound the quiet sobbing of Aarohi, as Kairav's words hung in the air, a harsh reminder of the pain and betrayal that he felt. The Birla family looked on, their faces somber, as they realized the depth of Kairav's emotions.

"Main apne emotions express nhi karta, iska matlab yeh toh nhi naa, aaru, ki main kuch feel nhi karta, aakhir main bhi toh insaan hi hun," Kairav's words were like a dagger to Aarohi's heart, piercing through her defenses and striking at the very core of her being.

Aarohi felt like she had been punched in the gut, her breath knocked out of her. She had never seen Kairav so vulnerable, so open, and it broke her heart to know that she had hurt him so deeply.

Aarohi felt like she had been punched in the gut, her breath knocked out of her. She had never seen Kairav so vulnerable, so open, and it broke her heart to know that she had hurt him so deeply.

"Bhai, aap ek baar baat toh sun lijiye, aaru ki!" Akshara tried to defend Aarohi, her voice soft and placating, but Kairav's expression remained unyielding.

"Nhi, Akshu, maine sun liya hai," Kairav said, his voice firm but laced with pain. "Maine sun liya hai ki aaru ne apna faisala kar liya hai, aur usse kisi ki permission ki zaroorat nhi hai." Kairav's eyes locked onto Aarohi's face, his gaze piercing and accusatory.

Aarohi took a step forward, her eyes locked on Kairav's face. "Kairav, bhai, I..." she began, but Kairav raised a hand, silencing her."Bas, aaru, bas," Kairav said, his voice cracking with emotion. "Main samajh gaya, tumne apna faisala kar liya hai. Ab mujhe akela chhod do."

'''''''''''''''''

It was the first time in all these years that Kairav had spoken to his baby sister like that, in that tone. Kairav Goenka, the calm, composed, and introverted one, had finally burst.

The weight of his emotions had become too much to bear, and he had let it all out in a torrent of anger and sadness.

As he drove away from the scene, his heart still heavy with emotion, Kairav felt a sense of relief wash over him.

But it was short-lived, as the pain of feeling like he had failed as a brother and a son came flooding back.

He had promised his Naira Mumma, Sirat Mumma, and his Papa that he would protect his baby sisters, but now he felt like he had failed them.

The memory of his promises, of his vows, and of his responsibilities haunted him. He had always prided himself on being the strong and protective brother, but now he felt like he had fallen short.

With his foot still on the accelerator, Kairav sped up the car, the wind rushing past him as he tried to escape the turmoil that was brewing inside him.

The speedometer needle quivered, climbing higher and higher, as Kairav's emotions threatened to consume him.

He felt like he was losing control, like the world around him was spinning out of control. But fate had other plans.

In a split second, everything changed. A truck came out of nowhere, its tires screeching as it slammed into Kairav's car.

The sound of crunching metal and shattering glass filled the air, and Kairav's world went dark. The impact was immense, the force of the collision throwing Kairav forward, his head smashing into the steering wheel.

The airbag deployed, but it was too late. Kairav's body slumped back, his eyes closing as the darkness closed in around him.

The sound of screeching tires, crunching metal, and shattering glass was replaced by an eerie silence.

The only sound was the creaking of twisted metal, the hissing of steam, and the distant wail of sirens.

Kairav's car was a mangled mess, the wreckage a testament to the devastating force of the collision.

And Kairav, the strong, proud, and protective brother, lay motionless, his fate hanging precariously in the balance.
