Hi Everyone,

I finally did what I had been avoiding for the last few weeks- with a heavy heart I finally caught up with the most recent track of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein- Adi's Death and Ishita-Raman separation post leap. Actually I just watched until the first episode post leap, when Ishita and Raman are driving to receive Pihu and I could not even watch 2 minutes of the scene where Raman insults Ishita in front of Pihu and then takes her away. I read written recaps of the rest of the episodes- but the recaps were written well enough to give me a sense of what is happening in the new storyline without me having to subject myself to watching insane dialogues and inhumane behaviour. 

My reaction to this new track is no different from many of you- I am infuriated seeing how the show has destroyed all the principal characters, more importantly I am enraged with the kind of message the show is endorsing by executing the current track the way they are. However I am not going to be part of the "endyhm" campaign as i feel that it will change nothing- the writers will continue with the track as planned. Instead I am willing to show my protest by actually doing something different which is writing my version of this plot-line and hopefully it will show how even such a ridiculous track can be done somewhat right.

However be warned my fellow readers, in order to prove my point at the starting of the story, I will have to stick to the plot as has been laid out in the show- coz only then will I be able to repair what has been damaged. So at the start of my story, Raman will be the same MCP as he was shown at the beginning of the leap and Ishita will be the same mute and defeated woman who will put up with all the nonsense that is thrown at her. But before you get too mad at me for endorsing the shows values, be rest assured the tables will turn. All I ask for is patience as I take the story to that turning point from where on I promise you I will do my best to do justice to the characters we have come to love over the years while also spreading the right kind of message through my story.

But before I even begin writing the story please comment and let me know if you are even interested in reading it. I will only write it if I get a feeling that you all are interested in reading this- considering how much hate the show is getting for the changes post leap I want to be sure that you all are interested in reading this version for writing does take a lot of time and effort so I don't want to put in hard work for nothing. So please let your opinion be known by commenting and also if you do vote I will consider that as a "yes I am interested in reading this story."

If after getting feedback from you I do end up writing this story then the story will start at the day of Pihu's hearing which also happens to be the unfortunate day when Ishita shoots Adi to save Roshni. Also you shall see the same characters from the show but their role in my storyline might be different.

And most importantly this story will be a separate one and will have nothing to do with my other ongoing story "Hamari Adhoori Kahaani." And if I do end up working on both stories then I will update one story per week- so which means if I update this story next week then I shall update Hamari Adhoori Kahaani the week after that as the time I am able to devote to writing the story will remain the same at the end of the day.
