Echizen Ryoma went home without any problems and slept well but in the middle of the night, he dreamed about the time he was turned into a vampire. He remembered the night he felt something very warm and painful on his neck. Just like Zero's seal, the small seal is growing stingy and hurtful on his neck, enough for him to wake up. His eyes opened and it is definitely red. He felt abnormally thirsty and knew that he has to drink blood.

He took the tablets in his bag given by Yumiko and went at their restroom where he tried his best to take the blood tablets but it pained him that it wasn't enough and it's really true that he's turning into a real vampire. He looked at the mirror and when he looked at his teeth, he has fangs already. He locked himself inside their restroom to restrain himself from attacking his parents. He can smell their blood as if trying to persuade him to kill them. They have an obvious sweet-smelling scent of blood.

"I can't kill them! I don't want to kill them! Even blood is what I want! Yumiko's not around to save me! It's better if I die now!" he cried. He opened their bath tub, went inside and let the water cover all of his body.

He closed his eyes and said to himself, I must die... Yumiko and Kaname aren't here to save me...

The next day, Nanako saw flooding from the bathroom. "Someone has forgotten to close the faucet last night," she said. She opened the door and screamed in terror when she saw Ryoma inside the bath tub full of water after she closed the faucet.

Ryoma seemed lifeless and very pale.

Nanako calmed herself and quickly took him out of the bath tub and did the CPR. "Ryoma, you aren't the suicidal type!" cried Nanako.

Luckily, she had saved him from drowning. Ryoma opened his eyes and told her after he saw him. His eyes are back to hazel but his voice is weak and sad, "Why save me? You should have let me die to finish my suffering."

"What are you talking about?" asked Nanako but she wasn't answered back. Echizen closed his eyes again. Rinko dashed inside the bath room and she was also surprised to see his son feverish, pale and has a wound in his hand.

"What happened, Nanako-chan?" asked Rinko, Echizen's mother.

"He... he's cold a...and he has a wound on his hand like it was bitten by a snake. Also, he said something I don't understand," she said.

Nanjiroh, upon hearing that, carried Ryoma's small body back at his room after they dried him. Luckily, it was Sunday and he was asleep most of the day. The next day, his cousin woke him up to go to school. He opened his hazel eyes and looked at his right hand. It was covered with bandages, also, he gave him back the tablets she saw at their bathroom. His fever had gone down already.

"What exactly happened to you?" she tried to ask but what Ryoma only did is to take the box of tablets on her hand.

After that, he did ready himself to go to school and before he leave, Nanako asked him again, "Are you alright? You look pale."

"I'm fine. I'm leaving now," he said but his eyes hurt. He put on his cap and walked normally. His parents also stared at him.

"I'm getting worried for him. Why did he try to suicide?" Rinko asked Nanjiroh but he didn't reply back. He is also clueless.
...

Echizen was practicing that morning with Kikumaru Eiji and Inui with two on one match. He kept doing his twist serve to them and of course, Kikumaru used his acrobatic skills to return all his twist serves. Ryoma returned all the balls in every corner at the back. He targeted the center by doing his split step. Inui quickly said as he was Seigaku's data Man, "Going to the center, 85%" He easily took a point from Echizen. Echizen did another twist serve. His twist serve was returned by Eiji again and because the return went too far into the right corner where Echizen is, he ran where the ball is, but lost his balance upon his impact to the ball.

It became a volley. Inui and Eiji quickly went beside him as he was seating up.

Cross Yuki and Zero Kiryuu were watching his match after they were informed that Echizen Ryoma is Yumiko's man and so, when they saw that his eyes turned to red when he had a terrible wound at his arms and legs, they quickly went inside the court. His wounds may only be small but it already activated what Echizen fears the most.

Inui and Kikumaru quickly held him up but Echizen told them, "Stay away from me, Eiji-senpai, Inui-senpai. I should have died last Saturday!" cried Ryoma. They didn't follow him, instead, Eiji asked him, "What's the matter with you? Die? What are you talking about?"

"Just leave me ALONE!" he pushed him but the force is enough to push him to the ground. He stood up and Inui asked. He's getting angry with him. "What's happening to you?"

"Leave me alone!" cried Echizen.

The other regulars except for Tezuka and Fuji who are in the Library Committee, saw his red eyes and witnessed how he pushed them to the fence. It was really strong, enough for both of them to have scratches.

"What's wrong with you? You're not the kind of person to attack people," Oishi held him tight but he was also pushed to the ground. Kawamura, Kaidoh and Momo ran to hold Echizen in place to stop attacking his team mates but Cross Yuki and Kiryuu Zero came before them already. They held his two wrists and their eyes spoke to him to trust them.

They threw him inside the locker room. Echizen faced them confusedly but his trust is still with them.

He hasn't lost his consciousness yet but he just want to be left alone. Zero Kiryuu locked the door to let him alone inside with them. He took his blood tablets in his bag and took a lot of it.

"It's not enough! It's not always enough to stop my thirst for real blood!" he cried.

Yuki held his arms and told him, "You're a a Level D turning to Level E."

"Who are you?" he asked depressingly.

"I'm Cross Yuki. I'm the sister of youngest Kuran and my friend who has the same seal as yours on your neck is Zero Kiryuu. I am a pureblood Vampire like Kaname-sama," then, like Yumiko, she offered her neck. "It's my way to prevent you and Zero from becoming Level E."

Ryoma stared at her and tried not to drink her blood but the urge kept coming, he held her wrists, pulled her on the floor and licked her right neck. After that, he started drinking her blood. It tasted better than the blood tablets. Eventhough he can't accept that he's become a vampire, he knows that a blood of a pureblood Vampire calms down his thirst and preventing him from becoming a monster.

"What happened to Echizen?" Oishi asked. No one can answer but Momo has an idea and so, he decided to peek at the window when he found out that their locker room is locked. He was surprised to see Echizen drinking the female exchange student's blood. Ryoma's eyes went back to normal already and stopped drinking her blood when the three of them felt another presence.

"Are you fine, now?" Zero asked him.

"Thanks for stopping me or else I've killed all my team mates," he answered back as he swipe the excess blood from his lips and licked them. Cross Yuki sat up and quickly hid the marks using band aids.

"How does it taste?" she asked.

"Much better than the blood tablets, Yuki-senpai," he answered as he lay his back on the wall. He was very tired. Also, Momo noticed that Ryoma's scratches and wounds quickly healed up after he drank her blood.

"If ever you feel thirsty again, run to her. She'll be your blood bank, after all," Zero said, laughing.

Yuki looked at him, "Why? Am I not your blood bank, Zero?"

"Yuki-senpai, your brother Kaname-sama, he's the Head of all Vampires, right?" he asked.

"Yes, why?" Yuki said.

"Why is he helping me?"

Yuki just smiled at him, "Our sister fell in-love with you and turned you into a Vampire. I know you still can't accept that, right?"

"Yeah. I wonder when I will accept I'm not human anymore and drink her blood. It's my only way of surviving, right?"

"If you drink her blood, she'll be in complete control of you," Zero told him.

"I don't care. I tried killing myself but my cousin stopped me from drowning inside our bath tub. I will not do it again. I don't want to hurt anyone anymore especially myself."

"I can't believe someone as young as you would think about suicide," Zero said and Ryoma just smirked.
...

He came to his classroom at Seigaku and went to his seat to read magazines after the morning practice but he can't concentrate because Yumiko is just beside him. Before the classes even started and there were very few students, she spoke to him when she saw that he threw bandages in the trash can, "How are you? You seemed you've hurt yourself. Well, I'm telling you, you need to accept me or you'll lose yourself."

"No!" he answered her. He was just surprised at her but the truth is, he already want to drink her blood that instant.

He pushed her aside. Sakuno and Tomoka stared at the two of them. Tomoka's losing her temper to Yumiko already and so, she shouted, "What do you want from Ryoma-sama! Can you just let him go?!"

Yumiko laughed at her predicament. "I can't."

Then, after a few minutes, the classes started. He kept concentrating at class and never looked at Yumiko. He's too nervous to stare at her. He responds to his teachers normally and most of all, he's one of the brightest of them. The time is coming so quick for Echizen. His thirst is slowly coming back because of Sakuno's sweet-smelling blood. His teachers noticed that he kept looking at the clock.

"Echizen, please concentrate at our class!" his female sensei said. Everyone stared at him and laughed. He just sighed at them. Of course, they do not know what he's feeling right now. The time is 11:45 and after 15 minutes, the clock struck 12. When the class ended and most of the students had gone at the lunch room and only Sakuno, Tomoka and Yumiko stayed inside the classroom, he lost control of his thirst and grabbed Sakuno down the floor with him, making her scream.

"RYOMA!"

Yumiko closed the lights and locked the door as she was panicking already. She has to stop her servant or else, he might kill her.

Tomoka was so surprised when he did that to her.

He held her painfully at her wrists as she was screaming, "Ryoma-kun! Let go of me! Ryoma-kun!"

He started licking her left neck before he bit her. Yumiko threw him away from her and so,"You're becoming a Level E, Ryoma! Wake up!" she screamed.

Tomoka helped Sakuno stand up as Ryoma slowly came back to his senses by the help of Yumiko but his eyes are still gleaming red.

"W-What happened?" he asked, shocked when he saw Sakuno afraid of him.

"You almost killed her and if I didn't stop you, you could have lost yourself! I kept persuading you to drink my blood but you kept refusing me! Do you want this to happen again?" she screamed to him.

"I don't want to drink your blood!" he lied.

"Well, ok but I know you're thirsty. Come with me," she told him like "as a matter of fact." She pulled him back on his chair and erased their memories about whatever happened before Ryoma sat on his chair.

Ryoma painfully tried to control his thirst. He took three blood tablets again as they were having their classes that afternoon and finally, they had their dismissal.
Yumiko quickly stood up and held Ryoma in place when Sakuno went near her to talk to him, "Ryoma-kun, are you alright? You kept drinking tablets in our last classes."

Ryoma, thanks for Yumiko's strength, keep reminding himself not to lose his human senses. "I'm fine," he lied.

Yumiko added, "Can I have a favor?" She asked Sakuno and Tomoka to call Zero and Yuki upstairs to go at their classroom.

"Who are they?" Sakuno asked.

"The exchange students from Cross Academy. I believe they're in same class of your senpais," she replied. The two girls quickly followed.

"Thanks."
...

"I really can't believe your brother will give us a mission to look out to a new born and Yumiko's man," Zero said to Yuki as they were organizing their things.

"I, myself is surprised but it can't be helped, right? Yumiko fell in-love with a Seigaku Tennis Regular, right?" she said.

"We need to look out for him. Kuran informed us that he's thirsty every afternoon and we didn't even have a chance to get out. I wonder what happened to him," he said.

"It's ok. Yumiko's looking out for him," she said.

Then, both of them left the room when Sakuno and Tomoka appeared in front of them and told them that Yumiko is looking for them and waiting at their room.

Fuji looked at Tezuka which he felt, suspects that the two exchange students are up to something. "Something wrong?" he asked.

"Let's follow them," he said.

"You're not the kind of man to do things like this, Tezuka but it'll be interesting, isn't it?" he said. They followed the two exchange students and noticed that they were going to Ryoma's classroom.

Kuran Yumiko is behind Ryoma who's sitting on his chair. His eyes are still red and she's holding him up at his shoulder, so that whatever he do, Yumiko will stop him.

He was clutching his fists to control himself from attacking anyone as the students are all leaving. He really can't stand the smell of their blood. Also, he was ashamed inside that he almost killed Sakuno. It was Kuran Kaname who came first inside his classroom. Sakuno and Tomoka are leading Kiryuu and Yuki where their classroom is. Finally, the room is almost empty when they came around. They were at the act of entering the Class 1-2 when Tezuka stopped them.
...

"Why'd they stopped?" he asked Echizen to her.

"Just stay still. If you want, drink some tablets I gave you," she told him.

He stood up and he angrily told her, "Drink those tablets??? I can't even stand it! It wasn't so good like the real one!" It was disgusting for him to say it but that's the truth.

Kaname opened the lights. The sky is getting darker. "How are you, Echizen?"

Echizen was so surprised. He wanted to drink Kuran's blood again but he told him, "I don't give my blood for a second time."
...

Tezuka and Fuji kept following them but Yuki quickly felt their presence. "Why are you following us?" she asked.

"I can't tell you my reason unless you tell me why you are here. You didn't come here as just a student, right?" he said.

"Just leave us," Zero told him.

"You said about a Tennis Regular in this school," Tezuka added.

"What about that?" Zero faced him seriously. Fuji opened his eyes and felt that their presence is truly something to worry about. Sakuno stared at them.

"I'm the captain of the Tennis Club," he said.

"Tezuka-senpai, Fuji-senpai," she whispered.

"It's not about one of your team mates. It's about my sister!" Yuki pulled Zero inside the Class 1-2 and it seemed Tezuka and Fuji didn't believe them but they stayed away from them for the mean time. They just left and went straight at the Tennis Courts. Sakuno and Tomoka are not allowed to enter.

Momo noticed that his captain and the exchange students had a confrontation, so, after they have left, he hid in the corner again.

After a few minutes, he saw Kuran Kaname, Cross Yuki and Kiryuu Zero went outside the classroom with Echizen Ryoma at their center. Echizen stopped walking when he felt someone is watching them. He looked at his back and that's where Momoshiro saw that his eyes are gleaming red again. Echizen had seen him but he didn't tell Yuki and Zero.

"His eyes are red again," he said.

Yuki put on his cap on his head and left. "We'll take you to Cross Academy after your practice here. I'm happy you accepted her already when we talked to you right now! So, when will you do that sweet event?" she asked.

"We'll head at the Academy after practice, right? That's where and when I'll do it. I have no choice already. I don't want to lose myself. Yuki-senpai, can I taste yours, again? I do think I might just attack them if my thirst won't go away. I know I've drank your blood already this morning but I'm awfully thirsty because of Sakuno's and Yumiko's blood. It circulates the whole room," he said. It's obvious in his voice that he is sad but excited, too.

"Of course," Yuki answered.

"Echizen, you know that she'll be in total control of you if you drink her blood," Zero reminded him.

Echizen only grinned and told him, "Heh? Is that why you didn't drink your master's blood? You're afraid to stay with her forever?"

Zero grabbed his collar but Yuki quickly stopped him. "I shouldn't have told him my past," Zero said as he was letting him go.

Momoshiro Takeshi were confused at what they were all talking about.

"Echizen," Momo murmured worriedly.

"Ok," Yuki said.

Momo kept watching and following them but lost sight of them when Yumiko created illusion in his eyes when she found where he was hiding. After a while, they were near the Tennis Courts already. In Ryoma's request he told them that he wanted the Seigaku Tennis Regulars to know his secret. They were one of those people he trusts to reveal and keep his secret.

Well, he does not want to keep secrets to them.

They let Ryoma change his clothes first inside the locker room and after that, Kaname entrusted Zero to look out for Yuki and Ryoma. "After his practice, go quickly in Cross Academy but we'll inform his team mates first. He has started to accept his fate, isn't it? I'll inform his parents that he'll be living in the Cross Academy Dormitory even if he refuse."

Ryoma opened the door of the locker room after he was finished changing his clothes and let Cross Yuki to enter. Zero Kiryuu was left behind outside the locker room.

Momo quickly went at the Tennis Courts after he went to change into his Seigaku Tennis Uniform and when he lost sight at Echizen. He quickly asked Kikumaru Eiji if ever he saw Echizen inside the tennis courts already.

"I saw Ochibi enter the locker room. Well, that exchange student seemed to stop some of our club members to enter our locker room after Echizen opened the door for Cross Yuki-chan to enter. I wonder why."

Then, after a few minutes, Kuran Yumiko and Kuran Kaname asked for their captain when they stepped inside the Tennis Courts. "Who's the captain here?" he asked.

Tezuka Kunimitsu answered back, "I am the captain. What do you want?"

Kaname smiled and told them that they need all the Seigaku Regulars to assemble. Tezuka asked why he wanted to speak to them personally.

"My sister, Cross Yuki and her friend told me that you.followed them. Also, Echizen Ryoma asked for all of you to know what was going on. I do believe most of you saw his red eyes, isn't it? There's something he'll tell you which I'm sure you'll be surprised," he grinned.

When the eight regulars have all gone inside their meeting room, Echizen finished drinking Yuki's blood and followed them at the meeting room. He's getting the feeling of drinking blood already even if its something he really doesn't want to do. He finally accepted what he is when he learned that she needs help from someone like him.

The Seigaku Regulars stared at him. Echizen entered with Yuki and Kiryuu. Kaname asked him again, "Are you sure to tell them? They might change their way of treating you if you tell them."

He started to answer him, "Allow me, Kaname-sama. I don't want to keep secrets to them."

"Kaname-sama? Why is ochibi addressing him like that?" Eiji asked. Momo is starting to get lower and sad at his seat. He saw what he was trying to hide since that morning.

"Are you sure, Echizen?" Yumiko asked him.

"They need to know," he replied.

Kaname folded his arms and told him, "I'm allowing you to tell them but, if ever one of them betrays us, I will be the one to kill you."

Tezuka stood up. In his irritation, he asked Kiryuu and Yuki, "You lied to me, right?"

"It is necessary to keep his secret but the person involved told us to inform you his secret. We wish you believe him and accept him. He is still the same person you once know but the difference is---," Kiryuu was cut off by Ryoma himself.

He opened his mouth large enough to reveal his grown fangs, "Kaidoh senpai, they call you Viper, right? It's because of how you play Tennis but... from everything that happened today, I knew I need to answer your questions. One word can explain why I attacked most of you in our morning practice," he took a deep breath and let them remember everything that happened that morning practice.

When Tezuka and Fuji finally heard Inui's explanation, he started speaking again, "I'm a---" Inui finished his sentence, "88% You are a vampire. The rest, you may be just tired and letting them rot your mind."

Kaname grinned. He knew that some humans are really skeptic but Momo stood up, "I am still your bestfriend, Echizen! Whatever you are!" Then, he turned to Inui. "Make that 100%, Inui-senpai."

Eight of them looked at him surprisingly, "Can't be."

Echizen lowered his head, "It's true."

Oishi stood up in disbelief while Kaidoh just hissed. Fuji opened his eyes and dared him, "Let me touch your fangs for me to know if its real."

He didn't want to but Kaname allowed him. He opened his mouth and Fuji was surprised to know it was real. "You are..." he was really surprised.

"A vampire, yes."

Kawamura and Oishi still can't believe it. He was obviously surprised by Echizen's revelation. So, Oishi dared him, "If you really are a vampire," he cut his right palm to let his blood flow, "You'll attack me."

Echizen's eyes turned red quickly and in their surprise. he ran quickly in an instant and pushed him strongly, destroying one of the tables and screamed to him, "Why cut your palms, Oishi-senpai? I... I..." His head is aching already and his thirst for blood is inevitable. He took Oishi's injured hand and started licking the blood coming out from his hand. Oishi and all of the regulars are now convinced he had changed.

He was losing himself and so, Yumiko knew she has to act. Kiryuu and Yuki dragged Oishi away from Ryoma before he bit his senpai's hand.

"I guess you need to drink my blood now, Echizen," Yumiko pushed him at the far back of the room and hugged him. Echizen tried to get away from her as the Seigaku watch in horror.

"Don't be afraid, humans. He will not refuse his master's blood," Kaname said. Kiryuu's eyes turned red, too but Yuki knows he can control himself now but still, she held his wrists..

Echizen bit her neck. He regained his consciousness when he was already drinking Yumiko's blood and all of his senpai are screaming at the other vampires. He was confused at whatever they're talking about. He thought that his team is angry to them. He stopped and said to them, "They're innocent. They came to help me or else I'll lose myself."

...

....The sweet dream hasn't ended yet....
