"What are you talking about?" Oishi asked.

"Oishi-senpai, they're innocent. I may not like what I am right now but I have to accept it," he said.

All the eight regulars looked at each other questioningly, "Is he unconscious when he attacked me? Seems like what he only heard are our screams and not what we are talking about," Oishi said to the others while Eiji nodded and folded his arms. 

"Yeah, yeah, Ochibi seemed clueless and just spoke like that to us, poor boy."

Tezuka answered him, "We know that, Echizen."

"B-but...," he was really surprised. The moon is already rising. Night is coming closer.

Momo replied next, "I told everyone what I saw inside the Locker Room, also, Inui-senpai also added his data on what happened this morning to you. We all know how you became a vampire, too."

"So, does that mean since prefecturals, you are already a vampire?" Kaido asked.

It was Zero who answered him, "He's still human but his body slowly becomes a vampire. Now, he's really a vampire. I do think he struggled for months. I struggled for years before I become one and just like him, I refused my master several times until she died. As we begin to be a vampire, we feel very thirsty whenever we lose blood or someone cut themselves. For a time, we can control it but as time pass by, we will lose ourselves and by the help of purebloods, even they are not our master, we feel our hearts contented already and our thirst goes away, preventing us from falling into Level E but the best way to stay as a Level D is to drink your master's blood. The Level E are vampires who already lost themselves. "

"Zero didn't drink his master's blood but he's with me, so, if he loses himself, I'm here. Right, Zero-kun?"

"Yeah."

One of his senpais turned to Ryoma. "If you knew already that you'll get very thirsty for blood when you lose blood or when someone cut themselves, you know that you cannot control your thirst anymore. They told us that they went here to persuade you to drink her blood and at the time you refuse her, you're only drinking the blood of Kaname and Yuki. Why didn't you drink her blood, quickly?" Kawamura asked him.

Echizen lowered his red eyes and looked at Yumiko and so, she told him, "Answer him honestly. I am curious about that, too."

Echizen put her closer to him, and replied, "I can't accept it at first that I'm a vampire. I was confused and afraid but upon realizing that she wanted to help me, I knew I have to accept. She didn't force me to drink her blood. She was just always there to stop me. In the end, I realized I have to accept her offer. I almost killed Sakuno."

They were not surprised, rather, sad that the Echizen whom they once knew is dead but the other vampires kept reminding them that he's still the same person they know. The only difference is that, Yumiko will always be with him and he's a vampire who'll be studying in the Night Class of Cross Academy, too but for now, they'll be letting the master and servant some privacy.

"Why don't you continue? You're still thirsty, right Echizen-kun?" Yuki said.

Echizen knew she was right and so, he told them, "Why, you are all still here. Go home."

"Yeah, let's give them privacy, Tezuka," Fuji said. Everyone knows that he is the most surprised among the team. They left afterwards.

Yuki and Zero stayed outside the room while waiting for them to finish.

Echizen sat on the floor as he and Yumiko were left behind inside the room. Echizen kept drinking her blood. He knew that it is really the blood meant for him because she is the woman that changed him permanently. He felt very much connected to her now. It's like, he won't live without her. He finally finished drinking and his hazel eyes finally went back.

He hugged her entirely and told her, "Thanks, Yumiko-sama."

Fuji also stayed outside and from out there, they can hear whatever the two are talking about. "Why are you still here? Aren't your relatives going to worry for you?" Yuki asked him.

Then, they also noticed Inui, Momo, Tezuka and Eiji staying outside the room. Eiji smiled, "No one overheard us, right?"

"I'll quickly see if there's someone who overheard us," Zero answered back. When he went out, Coach Ryuzaki and Chairman Cross were the only ones who were there.

"Why are you here?" he asked. "Are you the only ones here?"

"It is to protect you and Echizen's team. No one overheard you, do not worry."

Yumiko stood up, looked up at the sky and let Echizen Ryoma stay seated at the floor. 

She asked him, "You were informed that when you drink my blood, I can control you. Are you fine with this?"

"Like you can overdo whatever happened to me months ago. It's all because of you anyway why I became a vampire."

"If ever I didn't do that to you, would you fall for me or you'll fall to someone better?" she asked.

"When I met you at the shop, I already told you that you are beautiful and special. You scared me when you kept following me until I had no where to go when I ended up at the street tennis court. That's where everything started, right? You slowly took my human self but by your help, I did not fall into getting mad," he stood up and went closer to her. He hugged her and that's where she knew that Echizen is not just her servant but her lover. It wasn't a servant's love but truly a lover's love.

"Thank you, Ryoma-kun," she said and after that, it was Yumiko's turn to drink his blood. 

Ryoma had already forgotten that warm feeling and now that she's drinking his blood again, it was so much different than before. He felt like he will keep offering and giving his blood to her. He closed his eyes and just let her do it. 

She stopped after fifteen minutes and she touched his cheeks and told him, "Are you really not afraid I can control you?"

"I'm not afraid, Yumiko-sama. Don't stop until you're satisfied with it," he said. 

Echizen hugged her more and let her drink his blood. After an hour, they finally went outside. 

Fuji opened his eyes and looked at Echizen, "Did you not really change?"

"I changed but I'm still the same Echizen you all know," he told those who are still present.

Momo-senpai is crying now, "You're leaving Seigaku, right?"

Ryoma laughed as they were walking out of school already. 

"Who said I'm leaving Seigaku? I'm still Seigaku's Pillar of Support. It's just that, I have someone hanging on me already." 

He held Yumiko's right hand.

Fuji smiled and so is the others.

"We're separating from them.already, Echizen. You should meet your seniors at Cross Academy. They're excited to meet you," Yuki said to him and so, he followed them.

"We'll see you tomorrow, Ochibi!" Eiji reminded him.

"Isn't it a nostalgic feeling, Tezuka, Inui, Eiji and Momo? Our super rookie has a secret life every night," Fuji said.

"I can't believe that he's the regular they meant," he said.

When they came in Cross Academy, Chairman Cross welcomed him happily. He even hugged him tightly and asked him so many things. He even gave him delicious foods. As Ryoma and Yumiko eat at his table, he explained to him the levels of Vampires.

"You've already met the Kurans, the Purebloods. Next to them are the Nobles or Aristocrats. You'll definitely meet them later. The last three are the Level C or the Regular Vampires. You belong in one of the lowest kind of Vampires. You did not fall into going to Level E but of course, you are now in Level D. A human vampire who did not lose his senses."

Then, he gave him his Night Class uniform. "You'll come here with that uniform, ok?"

His eyes went lonely again. "I know that you are still surprised to be a vampire and allow you to study here every night but it is necessary. Ryoma. I know your love for her isn't something forced. It is something given. Now, change to your uniform."

"Ryoma-kun?" called Yumiko.

"Hai?" he asked.

"You're nervous to meet my cousins and friends, right?" she asked. Ryoma didn't respond. He was still looking at the white uniform.

"I guess I need to change, right?" he said and went to the rest room. He went back to Chairman Cross's office after he changed and let them see how he looked like. He is really handsome in that outfit.

After that, he finally entered the Night Class where he met Souein Ruka, Aido Hanabusa, Aido Tsukiko, Rima Toya, Senri Shiki and Akatsuki Kain. They welcomed him happily even some of them just felt forced especially Ruka.

"Serve her well," Ruka told him after all the introductions.

"I will," he answered. Then, Kuran Kaname entered. He smiled at Echizen and Yumiko. Yumiko also smiled and because of happiness, she hugged Ryoma at his right arm. "Kaname-oniisan!!! We're sitting here at the back, ok?" she said.

Hanabusa is the happiest to have met him. He looked at his face entirely and said, "No wonder why he'll like you. You look like the man he was first in-love with many years ago but good job being her servant. You're not so stubborn like Zero."

"I really like her in the first place," Ryoma told him. After that, he sat beside Yumiko. Little by little, he already accepted what he is now and can socialize with the other vampires. Ryoma found the Night Class not so different than his normal classes. The only difference is that, all of them are vampires and because he's a servant, Yagari Toga gave him an assignment.

Also, he smirked at him making Ryoma annoyed at him. "You're a newbie right, ochibi?" he asked him.

"So what if I'm a newbie?" he asked.

"Recite that to me this night, you understand?"

"Alright."

...

The sun had already risen. He had very little time to sleep. Actually, he's beginning to feel his full potential as a vampire.

That same day, he and Yumiko went to Seishun Gakuen in an elegant limousine. They both got out with all the students looking at them. They walked freely but when Zero looked at them, all went back to what they are doing. "Why do we have to ride in a limousine? We can get here by a bus," Echizen said as he was yawning.

"Yeah, why?" Yumiko also asked.

"Well, it's actually Chairman Cross who asked to send you here by that way," he explained to them. After a little while, Yumiko sat on one of the benches under the tree to watch Echizen practice.

There haven't any changes whatsoever in the way they treat him and that's what he wanted.

Horio and his friends kept looking at his lips. Yes, he is smiling.

He seemed very happy as he was having a friendly match with Momo and his shots are more accurate. Momo lost a point after Ryoma did his Drive B. Momo also smiled at him. Ryoma is actually sleepy, "You seem to enjoy playing this morning. Aren't you sleepy? I really can't believe you still can walk in sunlight after everything that happened yesterday,"

"Momo-senpai, don't talk nonsense!" he said as he did his twist serve.

After a few minutes, he drank his water after he won the friendly match against Momo.

Tomoka and Sakuno kept looking at him happily as they keep cheering on him but wondered when Ryoma looked where Yumiko is. Yumiko grinned, "As expected from Ryoma." She stood up and went inside the tennis court to talk to him. The Tennis Club's will start their Intraschool Competition later.

"Why are you still here, Yumiko-sama? Aren't you going inside our classroom?" he told her.

When Tomoka heard that, she looked at Sakuno who was also confused. She pushed her lightly and told her, "Let's pretend we did not hear that."

"Why did he call her, Yumiko-sama?" Sakuno asked while she noticed that all of the regulars have an idea. All of them were telling him the same thing.

"Of course, she'll wait for you! Yumiko-chan still keeps looking out for you if you ever lost yourself again," Oishi said.

Echizen looked at his senpai's palm, "Did I scare you last night?"

Oishi lied that he wasn't. "Ok, don't worry about me. I won't get thirsty like that again," he told them.

"Morning practice's finished, right?" Yumiko asked them.

Tezuka nodded. "Echizen, I'm your first opponent later."

"Hai, Tezuka-bucho," he said.

Tomoka was more enraged when Yumiko held his arm. Her head is very red now because of jealousy.

Echizen only blushed by what his master is doing to him. "Yumiko-sama, I'm... I'm..."

"What? Are you shy?" she asked and let him free outside the Tennis Court.

"A little bit. My seniors are looking at me," he said.

"Alright, I'll do that only if we're in Night Class. I know you'll be afraid to do anything absurd in Cross Academy," she said and because it was windy, her hat came off that made his eyes hurt.

He quickly took it back using his racket and put it on her. "Are you alright?" he asked.

"My eyes still hurt," she told him. Echizen held her right hand and told her, "I'll go get changed. It's better for you if you go to our classroom, now."

"I'm the master but I feel like I'm the servant," she told him.

Echizen went more irritated at her, "It's my job as a servant, anyway. Also, it seems you even don't know anything about being a 'Master', Yumiko-sama."

Yumiko stared at him and after a while, Ryoma went to change for his school clothes but while Yumiko is waiting for him, Zero told her he's going back at Cross Academy and come back after she and Echizen are already going back at Night Class.

After that, Tomoka pulled Sakuno closer to Yumiko to ask her several things. "Why are you so close to Ryoma-sama?" she asked her.

"What? Are we that close?" she asked sarcastically.

"Hey, answer me seriously!" Tomoka said.

"Nothing. We're friends. Aren't we friends?" she asked them.

Sakuno tried to calm Tomoka down, "I think she's telling the truth, Tomoka. I don't want our friendship with her will just be lost because of a very simple thing like that. We're still kids, you know?"

After a while, Ryoma noticed them. He stepped closer to them and asked them, "Is there any problem? Why aren't you all inside our room? The first class is near."

All of them dropped faces and ran towards their room. Echizen accompanied Yumiko inside the room but when the first class started, Aido Hanabusa appeared before them. All of the freshman girls like Tomoka quickly fell in-love with his charm.

Of course, Ryoma and Yumiko were surprised to see him making them stand up and forgetting their sleepiness at the same time but Aido didn't mind their shocked faces rather, told them to return to their seats.

"Yumiko-chan, why is he here?" he whispered to her.

"I'm just as clueless like you," she told him.

He started to introduce himself as their substitute teacher for a while in English. Echizen just kept gazing at him for his eyelids not to close but fell asleep afterwards. English is really boring for him.

Yumiko just kept yawning but she has that wonderful smile at her lips.

Aido stared gladly at the sleeping servant and the sleepy master. She tried to wake him up when Aido walked where Yumiko is seating.

Aido pat her on the head and said to her, "He's really sleepy. Just let him sleep, Yumiko-chan. Wake him after my class."

"Oh, ok," she said. Aido soon went back explaining the structure of English Language.

After three subjects, it was now finally lunch. Echizen really found it weird that he's not feeling abnormally thirsty anymore but understood quickly that it may be because he had already drank Yumiko's blood. Sakuno stood up from her seat and gave her the bento she cooked for him.

"Um, thank you," he said. He was already eating Sakuno's bento when two men stole Yumiko's present for him. Those were the chocolates she bought for him when he stared at it before they went to school.

Because of his closeness to her, some boys from his class wanted to know why she was very much attracted at him. "What's with him, Yumiko-chan? Why does he get all the beautiful ladies? Why aren't you attracted at me?" Gan Ryu asked her as she was being pushed by him as she was trying to get the chocolates back.

She was jumping a lot, now and getting bruises. Sakuno looked at Ryoma who can't control himself from watching his master get hurt and so, he took his racket out and did a twist serve making the chubby Gan Ryu hurt his face when the ball bounced in front of his face.

Gan Ryu stood up and quickly gave back the chocolates to her but upon from standing up, he knows that it was Echizen who hurt him. The next thing he did is punch Ryoma's face and steal his racket from him. Gan looked at Ryoma who's looking bravely at him.

Ryoma also punched him back but Gan's three friends kicked and punched him, too. It was enough for his arms to bleed. His eyes turned red and felt thirst but he can control it now. Their homeroom adviser rushed inside and asked quickly what happened. All of the students who witnessed that incident, pointed Gan and his friends.

Yumiko quickly pulled Ryoma out of the classroom and went upstairs. Tomoka and Sakuno followed them because they were curious why Echizen protected her from Gan and got hurt.

They quickly entered the roof top and from there, they saw Echizen hug her, "I told you not to buy treats for me, right?"

"I bought them because you want them!" she said to him. Then she added, "You're getting taller. Haven't you noticed? We're both 151 cm before but now, you're 160 cm already."

"It's maybe because I drank your blood yesterday that I didn't notice I grew taller," he smiled at her.

"You're thirsty," she said.

"Yeah," he replied. The small symbol at his neck is gleaming red. Sakuno and Tomoka hid behind the door of the last floor to eavesdrop at them but they were struck when they saw Ryoma put her neck closer to him, opened his mouth with his fangs showing and started drinking her blood. He finished after ten minutes as Yumiko is already putting band aids at her left neck. His red eyes went back to normal but then, felt someone looking at them.

He walked closer to the door and opened it. Tomoka and Sakuno who stared at him, frightened. "Yumiko-sama, I want them them to remember what I almost did to Sakuno," Echizen said.

Yumiko was surprised. "If I do that, they'll be more afraid of you."

"Just do it," he said. Then, she just released a very white small ball. All their questions are now answered. Sakuno felt more scared at him.

"Sakuno, forgive me for doing that to you. It made me realize that I have to be her servant and lover to protect you. I'm fine already and I won't attack anybody. It will be her blood that can only calm me down."

Tomoka and Sakuno sighed. They stared at him and knew there's nothing to be afraid of. "Ryoma-sama's still Ryoma-sama anyway. Nothing changed. He's still Seigaku's super rookie!" Tomoka said. "Only that, you are stolen."

"Stolen?" asked Ryoma.

Tomoka was on the act of telling him that Sakuno has a crush on him but Sakuno quickly put her hands on her lips and told him not to mind her last words.

"Well, I do think we need to return to our class, right?" Yumiko reminded them. They quickly went back to class and sat at their respective seats.

After so many hours of academics class, Ryoma finally changed into his Tennis Club uniform and the first match is between him and his captain.
