Echizen Ryoma sat on his silver-colored bed after his visit at Fuji's room where Fuji Yuuta-kun's corpse was laid and waiting for their sister to pick them up. His eyes were still bewildered by what and why that had happened that day. Yuuta died and was involved in that hunter's anger towards him because of his sin one year ago. He never thought it would backfire soon to him. His past is haunting his present time and it had hurt his senpai. He was so angry that he can't just accept it.

He tried his best not to let a tear drop but it keeps bothering him. He wanted revenge against the Vampire Hunters who killed their fellow human. He put his hands on his face covering his eyes. His feelings are still wavering. The sound and image of Fuji Shuusuke's screams are stuck in his mind. It keeps creeping on him. He felt that if he doesn't do anything, his sadness and hatred won't go away.

He stood up and changed his clothes. "I have to avenge Yuuta-kun's death. He's not a Level E! He's human!" He silently walked away from his room and leave the Night Class Dorm but then, Kaname Kuran knew about his plans. Kuran seemed to be waiting for him at the main hall of the Dorm but still, he tried to escape from him and obey whatever he currently feels. He is so hurt that it's like he was struck by a silver bullet straight at his chest/ Before he opened the door to leave, Kuran Kaname held his right arm and threw him back inside the hall.

He was so surprised that Kaname slapped him, waking his whole being. He truly is down that whole day. "I know you are surprised by what's happening but you musn't act rashly. I am here to protect both of you!" Kaname told him.

"Kaname-sama, I... I... Want to avenge Yuuta's death!" he said.

Ryoma stared at him seriously.

"Echizen, it's not revenge that we seek. You seek justice? They also want vengeance and justice! What must happen is that he understand that what you have done is out of your control!" Kaname told him. "Echizen, go and change to your uniform."

Echizen obeyed him. He sadly went to his room and changed his clothes. Yumiko entered his room and asked him, "Are you alright?" Echizen Ryoma felt that his wavering emotions calmed down upon hearing his master's voice. He looked at her with a large smile and told her, "Thank you, Yumiko-sama."

Yumiko hugged him and told him, "Ryoma, please don't carry all of your burdens on your shoulder. Share it with me. I'm your master, after all."

Ryoma hugged her tighter. Yumiko felt his heart is truly in pain right now. She touched his face and kissed him. Ryoma kissed her back. Roses splattered on the floor and when they knew that Aido Hanabusa is doing that, Ryoma finally smiled while Yumiko laughed.

The next morning at Day Class, Sakuno can still feel that her classmates inside their room were all still scared about what happened yesterday. She doesn't have Tomoka with her but she has other friends. If her classmates are all still terrified about what happened yesterday, she is also still afraid of what happened especially, she knows the person who was attacked. Currently, Yuuta is back and laid to rest in Tokyo. Of course, Fuji Shuusuke decided to go back home and rest for a while. So, only Momo, Kaidoh, Tezuka and Kawamura have stayed in Cross Academy.

Momo and Kaidoh are still currently accepting new members of the Tennis Club even though the two of them are also sad and shocked of what happened to Yuuta.

Sakuno and a new friend of hers were walking outside the building that afternoon when she suddenly caught sight of Ryuzaki Mei, her twin brother practicing with Echizen Ryoga outside of the Indoor Tennis Court. He was trying to return Ryoga's orange ball when he suddenly saw her and smiled. "AHH! Onee-san!' he said. He ran closer to her and hugged her. "I'm really happy that you're here!"

"I'm also happy that you are here, Mei! How come grandpa let you study here?' she asked.

"Well," Ryoga stood closer to them. Mei and Sakuno stared at him as he reply back to her question to Me, "I am tasked to look out for the both of you."

Ryuzaki Sumire and Chairman Cross were having a chitchat about the upcoming prefecturals when Cross had a glimpse to the boy beside Sakuno. The boy was looking shocked and confused at Ryoga as Sakuno introduced them to him but he managed to control his emotions and spoke his name in a casual way, "I'm Keido Yurin. I've noticed that both of you have badges on your left shouder. What does that mean? You know that I'm new here."

Sakuno and Ryoga smiled at him. "We're also new here but we don't mind that much. The badge signifies that we are prefects."

"What do you do as prefects?" he asked.

Sakuno and Ryoga looked at each other. They do not know if they need to tell him that they know about vampires living inside the Night Class Dorm and one of them is Echizen Ryoma and so, they hesitated to tell all of the truth and he only replied to him, "We protect the Day Class students."

Yurin pouted. "You are late to save a young man yesterday."

His words made Ryoga angry and collared him. "Say that again!"

Sakuno and Mei quickly separated the two of them. Sakuno held Yurin's right hand, "What are you thinking??? Echizen Ryoga's still hurt because of what happened yesterday! Everyone of us are still hurt because of that!"

Cross and Sumire saw the commotion and both quickly rushed to stop it. Momo and Kaidoh also went beside them to calm them down. Sumire held Ryoga while Cross told him to go at the meeting with the Hunter Society and Vampire Society.

Yurin and Sakuno decided to walk away from there. Sakuno kept holding his hands but he madly put her hands away but he didn't realize that by doing so, Sakuno would lose her balance and fall on the ground. He was so surprised that he asked her right away while Sakuno stand up, "Sakuno, we're friends. right?"

"Of course, we are. What kind of question is that?"

"You're stupid, Sakuno! You'll quickly tell that to me and take me as a friend even you don't know me that much? If I am your friend then tell me the secrets of this school!" he told him as he look at her seriously and hold her shoulders painfully. Sakuno tried her best to free herself from his grip but he is stronger than her.

Ryoma and Yumiko went outside the Night Class dorm when Ruka told them that Chairman Cross wanted to talk to them at his office. As they were walking, both of them witnessed how an unknown stranger is interrogating Sakuno about them in front of the Day Class Dorm. Ryoma froze for a while when his scent made him remember about the innocent boy which he had murdered. Yumiko saw that his eyes are slowly turning red. He kept walking closer to the two of them and sped up his pace to stop the stranger from hurting Sakuno about him. Yumiko followed him due to her growing anxiety towards him. Everyone knows that he's an unusual Level D, that's why he is so powerful.

Kuran Kaname, Aido Hanabusa, Senri Shiki and Souein Ruka attended a meeting with the new Council of Ancients. They were all discussing about the sudden death of Fuji Yuuta. They were not just the ones who attended the meeting, the Vampire Hunter's Society newly elected female president, Freia Ellanor attended too. She has long, silky, black hair and green eyes. Most of all, she is the only the vampire hunter who was born a half-vampire. Her mother is a vampire aristocrat while his father is a vampire hunter. She stood up and told them, "I wanted to apologize to the vampires in Cross Academy. We are very much reckless in letting a young man a new mission but as we are told, Toga Yagari told us that he had killed someone he thought was his target. I don't want any of my new recruits to be blamed without letting him talk and without evidences presented I do believe he did not mean it.."

Echizen Ryoga is also there with them. He didn't like what the president said and so, in his irritation, he shouted in disappointment, "I accepted Chairman Cross's offer that I study in Cross Academy after I have received a black mail from someone I do not know. Written at that letter was that I surrender myself or else, one of his sons would hurt my friends slowly. I was thought to be Echizen Ryoma. He's a brother of mine whom all of you know! The Vampire Hunter's real goal is to kill my brother for his own revenge!"

Freia lowered her eyes. She knows that he is telling the truth. If a new Level D is left behind, they tend to lose themselves and attack anyone that approaches them until they gain consciousness. She understands that well because she's a half vampire but she knows "We are very much sorry that Yuuta is eliminated by the Vampire Hunters without us knowing. We'll definitely help in the search of that traitor."

"Can we now start how we'll prevent Echizen Ryoma from falling to his enemies and face near deaths? I know for sure that he doesn't want to be hurt all over again," Souein Ruka told them.

Kaname and Shiki smirked. "He's actually succumbing to their plans. They've been torturing him emotionally and not physically," Shiki said.

From then on, they talked about how to protect Echizen from jumping into dangers.

"I know about Zero Kiryuu and Kuran Yuuki! I am not a fool not to know about vampires lurking freely in this place! When I saw Echizen Ryoga, I know he isn't the man that took my brother's life! I've been here longer than you, don't you know that? He only looks like him but...... TELL ME WHERE HE IS!! He killed my younger brother!" he screamed.

Sakuno can literally feel his rage towards Echizen Ryoma. She may not be so sure that the man whom he really wants to see is Ryoma, but from everything he's telling her, it is no doubt that he's accusing him at his younger brother's death. She's beginning to feel very much afraid of him. His grip at her hands went more painful. Sakuno still kept struggling to get away from him but his eyes kept scaring her. Deep inside her heart, a new emotion suddenly jumped inside. She wasn't sure about it but fear is still the dominant emotion she has at those times.

Echizen can't watch anymore and so, with his eyes turned bloody red, he pushed Yurin away from her strongly. He let Yumiko take him while he talk to him.

"I'm the vampire you want!" he screamed.

Yurin was so surprised that he held on his silver necklace. When their eyes met together, both men went frozen. Yumiko and Sakuno stared at them.

"It can't be," both of them said.

Echizen's eyes quickly went back to hazel. Yumiko and Sakuno kept looking at them.

"Why?? Why would it be you???" Yurin cried.

"Forgive me. I lost myself and accidentally murdered your brother!" he said.

Yurin tried punching his face but Ryoma quickly dodged. "Yurin, please forgive me!"

Yurin attacked again but Ryoma dodged again making him kneel down. Yurin clutched his fists painfully and tighter, "I'm not angry anymore! It's... it's a misunderstanding! You didn't mean to kill him, right?"

Ryoma nodded. "Hai. I've been in hell since I was turned into a vampire but I learned to accept myself. I knew that if I don't want to become a Level E, I have to accept my master's blood and drink it. After that, I'm forever hers."

"Ryoma, my father's going here to take you! He's so angry with you!" he screamed.

"I know."

"You're not safe here."

"This is my home...," he said.

The meeting had just finished when Echizen Ryoga did visit him inside his room. The vampires and the vampire society assigned him to protect him wherever he go without him knowing.

For over one week, the hunters did not reveal themselves and showed themselves to them but by the help of the Hunter's Society, they were able to picture them out.

The older one, the father has brown eyes, brown skin and has a cut on his cheeks while his son, Yurin's older brother has small eyes and always wear his thick coat.

A whole week passed without the traitor Vampire Hunters interfering the school. He knew that Yurin had come to Cross Academy to protect him until one night when he asked him to visit him in his room, Yurin was surprised that the man in front was his father and not Echizen Ryoma.
