Parth was finalised on Friday despite stiff competition from other contenders. 

A source told Indianexpress.com, “Ekta and the team had a tough time finding the perfect Anurag. A lot of actors were in contention but the rebooted show required a young face. After numerous look tests and auditions, the team finally zeroed on Parth. The actor was finalised last night and an official announcement will happen soon. While Erica has already shot  the first teaser, a promo with Hina and Parth will also be released soon.”

1- the timer that parth is approached came up after Ektas tweet.

2- when fight was going on between many other actors like barun, kushal, sharad,  etc etc about playing the lead,  Ekta tweeted her tweet
And it's layer on that timer about parth came up,

3- many are stating that you can't see parth other than kyy.

Guys group up Yar,  he needs exposure
And completely his call that where he needs to work, and with whom he knows it well.

4- the reboot that is part two is already said to be a story from collage life I. E why 20's type of actors are choosen,  I mean that's what various Articles's state . So all we can say is keep patience and don't jump to conclusions.
