So guys here is the next update

As today is Valentine's Day you guys will get double updates on this story , next update will be on purely Valentine's Day romance , hope you all will enjoy it

Ranbir woke up just 15 mins before they reached their destination and smiled seeing Prachi sleeping on his shoulders.

He lightly tapped her cheeks to wake her up.

Ranbir, softly:"Prachi...."
She hummed.

Ranbir:"we nearly reached."
She once again hummed. He smiled at her. He let her sleep some more and lightly played with her fingers.

After a few minutes, she woke up herself. She looked at him who was smiling at her.

Ranbir, teasingly:"you had a great sleep?"

Prachi:"best one."

He smiled at her comment. She soon felt a gaze on her and knew who was it instantly. His gaze was uncomfortable and angry. She hated his gaze on her.

Ranbir, noticing her:"what happened?"
She nodded no and forced a smile. Ranbir knew she was not comfortable and tried to calm her down by drawing circles on her wrist.
It was completely silent between them now. Prachi was fearing what will happen at home.
She knew she was in for a lot of scolding.

They finally reached their destination. They got down the bus and Shahana/Rhea joined Prachi. Seeing Pranbir's entangled hands, the girls teasingly smiled at Prachi.

But as Rudra turned to them. Shahana immediately came in front of them to hide their hands. The 2 other girls didn't know that Nikhil liked Prachi nor that Rudra was overprotective. But they do know, Rudra won't agree this easily.

Rhea also came to talk to them so that it doesn't seem suspicious. Rudra called the 3 girls and they nodded.

Ranbir, whispering to Prachi:"i will see you tomorrow, okay?"
She looked at him confused.

Ranbir:"i told you, i won't stop our meetings. I will plan something. Because tomorrow will be very special for my girl."
She grew even more confused. He saw that she didn't realise what he was talking about. And didn't clarify it as well. He let it be.

Aryan signed Ranbir as they were going as well. Ranbir looked around and quickly kissed her cheek, saying bye.

She looked at him surprised. He winked at her and left hurriedly with Aryan. Prachi touched her cheek and blushed slightly. Nikhil came to her and she instantly redeemed herself.

Rudra:"let's go. Dad is waiting for us."
They came to their car, actually Rudra's car. Nikhil asked Shahana to sit in front. Prachi was about to sign her no but Shahana didn't notice her.

Rhea also was unaware and pushed Prachi in the middle. She was now in between Rhea and Nikhil who was furious. Prachi could see his anger, he had his fists and jaw clenched and his face was slightly red.

Shahana kept some conversation with Rhea and Rudra. Only Prachi and Nikhil were silent.
Rhea asked Prachi something, she was talking to her when she felt a hand on her thigh. She looked at Nikhil who was still very much angry and looking outside the window.

He tightened his grip on her thigh. She tried to remove his hand but he just tightened it more.
Now, it started hurting her. She thought about something and pinched him hard.

He immediately removed his hand and screamed in pain. The girls turned to him while Rudra asked him if he was fine concernedly.
Nikhil lied saying yes.

He didn't do anything else till they reached home.

At Ranbir's home

Aryan, Mishti and Ranbir entered excitedly, screaming for Pallavi and Dida.

The three hugged Dida.

Dida:"you guys are finally back...."

Vikram:"the house was peaceful without you three and now see."

Pallavi:"Vikram... you were also missing them, don't lie."

Ranbir:"Dad? And missing me? I don't believe this , haha..."
Vikram lightly hit him but then eventually hugged him.

At Prachi's house sorry at devils house 😡😡

Compared to the excitement at Ranbir's house, theirs were completely silent.

Even Nikhil accompanied them inside since he is most of the time here only.

Abhi met them and hugged Shahana and Rhea. Prachi stood far away. She couldn't be comfortable with him knowing he killed her parents and separated her from her brother.

Abhi:"how was your trip?"
Rudra was the one who answered as he was in charge of the girls.

Rudra:"great, but your one daughter made a new friend..."
Prachi looked at him scared. Pragya noticed her and was worried as well.

Rudra, smirking:"or should i say lover?"
Abhi turned angry hearing that but calmed himself. All the girls were tensed. Rhea/Shahana thought that they didn't notice anything but no, Prachi wasn't that lucky.

Pragya, trying to save Prachi:"it must be a friend only, right Prachi?"
She also nodded quickly.

Rudra:"yes Dad. It was a friend... but i hope he stays as a friend only."
Prachi looked on surprised. She was confused as to why Rudra lied to Abhi. He never does that. She knew he saw her with Ranbir, holding hands and all and yet he didn't say anything.

Abhi:"she won't allow it to go further, she knows what punishment that boy will face. She wouldn't dare. Right Prachi?"
Prachi nodded scared of Abhi.

Abhi:"everyone to your room now and rest before dinner."
All dispersed to their rooms. Pragya looked at Prachi worriedly.

As soon as she reached her room, her phone dinged. She saw that it was Ranbir. A small smile came on her face. But just as quickly it came, it was gone at the same rate when she spotted Nikhil there.

He angrily grabbed her shoulders and pinned her to the door which she closed.
Prachi grunted in pain.

Nikhil, angrily:"what do you think of yourself? How dare you with another boy? Don't you know that you are mine?"
Prachi pushed him away using all her force. He stumbled back a bit.

Prachi:"you are no-one to me... and you don't get to question me."
He approached her dangerously and held her hands. He once again pinned her to the wall and held her hands tightly above her head.
Tears start to form in her eyes, not because she was scared of him, but he was hurting her.

Nikhil:"i told Rudra not to tell your dad anything as i wanted to deal with this myself.
Either you stop meeting him or i will do something that you will regret forever. Who knows that Ranbir boy won't be seen ever again?"
He smirked at the last words.

Prachi looked on shocked. That exactly what she was fearing. And now the tears were falling as he was scared for his safety. She didn't want Ranbir to be harm in any way.

Nikhil, threateningly:"if you meet him, he is dead. Get that straight in this pretty little head of yours."
He roughly tapped her forehead and pushed her on the floor. He left from there.

Prachi fell down and recalled his words. The tears which started to fall were now flowing down her cheeks uncontrollably.

She stayed there itself and hugged herself in order to console herself.
She poured her heart through her tears. And this continued for around 15 minutes.

She stopped only when she heard her phone ringing. Looking at the caller's id, she saw it was Ranbir. She immediately wiped her tears, composed herself and then picked up the call.

Ranbir, worriedly:"are you ok? You weren't replying to my messages... is everything fine?"

Prachi took a deep breath and composed herself before replying him.
"Yes... ac..actually i was surrounded by the family members so couldn't answer you. Sorry."

He noticed her trembling voice and was alert.
Ranbir, softly:"Prachi... are you ok? Your voice...."
Prachi, avoiding it:"yes yes. I am fine... you say, how is everything there?"

Ranbir, sensing that some problem took place and she didn't want to continue on that topic:"here everything is perfect. Mom prepared our favorite dinner today since we were not home. It's going to be a feast."

She chuckled slightly at his excitement and compared her situation to his. How his family was pampering him and on the contrary here. No-one knew that Nikhil was hurting her.

Ranbir:"anyway, Chikchiki...."
Prachi, trying to be normal:"again Chikchiki...."
Ranbir:"that's a cute nickname...."
Prachi, whispered:"that's true..."

He heard her and a big smile came on to his face.
Ranbir, happily:"so you like it?"
Prachi:"hmmm, because you gave it to me...."
Ranbir:"am i that special to you?"
Prachi:"you are... and you don't know how much, Ranbir. You mean everything to me. And in such a short span of time that i am scared."

Ranbir, emotionally:"you don't have to be, Prachi. You will always have me. I love you."
Prachi:"i love you too Baklu."
He chuckled at her. She has decided, she was ready to fight this against Nikhil, against Rudra and against her so called Dad. She wasn't backing off.

Ranbir:"Anyway i called you for an important thing."
Prachi:"what is it?"
Ranbir:"what's there tomorrow?"
She thought but nothing came to her mind.

Prachi:"something special?"
He hummed.
Prachi, excitedly:"your birthday?"
Ranbir, amusedly:"no, no, Chikchiki."

Prachi, cutely:"then?"
Ranbir:"tomorrow's love day. Valentine's Day."
Prachi:"ohhh..."
Ranbir:"you don't like it?"
Prachi:"nothing like that. Just i have never celebrated it so i don't know anything about it."

Ranbir:"means no previous boyfriend."
She confirmed him.
Ranbir:"how lucky am i to be your first Valentine date... i will plan it extra special so you know what to expect every single year...."

Prachi:"Ranbir... Ranbir. Don't be extra, okay."
Ranbir, smilingly:"I know, i know. My Prachi loves simplicity."
She blushingly smiled at his words.
Ranbir, teasingly:"and i also know that My Prachi is blushing right now."
She stopped and composed herself.

Ranbir, chuckling:"why did you stop? Let me enjoy it even though i can't see you."
Prachi:"you are knowing me too much, Baklu."
Ranbir:"that's my right only."
Prachi:"only yours...."
Ranbir:"So Miss Prachi, will you go on a date with me tomorrow?"

Prachi, smilingly:"with pleasure, Mr. Baklu Kohli."
He was over the moon hearing her yes. He was skeptical even though he knew she would say yes. He silently jumped as he got overexcited.

But Prachi heard him and smiled.
Pallavi called Ranbir for dinner and he stopped.
Ranbir:"i need to go... and i will pick you up after college. Wait for me at the gate."
Prachi, tensed:"no, no. You come at the bakery."
He agreed and hung the phone.

At college, everyone will see them and inform Rudra or Nikhil. She couldn't risk it. At her bakery it was ideal.
