𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬:
ADVENTUROUS
Bernadette was born with utter and complete Wanderlust.
All she's ever wanted to do was run about the world, looking into every crook and cranny, every puddle and hole the world has to offer her. If she sees a new thing, she's running straight over towards it! She's testing it out, she's looking at it from all its different angles. She's willing to do whatever it takes to try out different experiences. She doesn't want to be confined to one boring life forever, she wants to do things! She wants to see more than just Paris and France.
She's a bit of a daredevil, she wants to live a life of excitement and discovery, and how can a person do that when they are bound to a house of strict rules and expectations?
She pushes the boundaries a little more each day.
Spending a few extra minutes outside after curfew, getting more confident with slipping out her window each day and night, and getting more convincing with her list of excuses.
She's curious, she can't help it! She's eager to know all that she can and she all her two eyes will allow her top. Either about the mundane and normal or the strange and unusual.
The unfamiliar is just so alluring to her.
Besides have you seen the outside? All the flowers, rivers and forests! She's basically a nymph at this point.

RECKLESS
Just like her namesake Birdie is wild and free! She can't be tamed!
She'll soar through life wearing her rose tinted glasses, always wide eyed at whatever she stumbles across. Birdie isn't one for rational thinking, she's a bit careless even when she doesn't mean to be. She looks for excitement! And when nature calls, she isn't going to be checking every rule and warning there is in the book. She's already out the door! Climbing up a tree or abseiling down that big rock the village kids warned her about. She likes to get her blood pumping! She likes to feel a rush of adrenaline flow through her veins!
She is well aware that all these risky stunts aren't ones expected from a young lady like herself, but that's what makes it even more fun! Though she is sick of the constant sexism, she loves the rebellious nature of her actions as she constantly defines herself.
She shall never be tied down!
Birdie almost always has scratches or bruises on her knees and arms from wild tricks she tries to pull off, though time after time she continues to do them! She doesn't get scared easily, she welcomes the risk! To conquer your fears, you must stare them in the eye!

HELPFUL
Bernadette is honestly a true sweetheart at times. While she is certainly loud and out there. She does manage to cam herself down, especially if someone is in trouble or needs advice. She hates seeing people upset, and more times than not- it makes her upset.
She's able to connect with others. Whenever she sees someone in pain or if anyone just needed a simple helping hand, she would gladly throw herself at them. She's always making life of the helpers a little more easier. She's more than capable of tidying after herself anyway.
She's caring and loving, some might disagree if they've ever been at the hands of her attitude, but you know you mean the world to her when she's willing to throw everything away just to care for you. Say the word and she'll be there as your loyal companion. She's patient with people, allowing them time to heal, and she'll be with them with every step of the way.
She sees no problem with showing her soft side! It doesn't make her weak! In fact, it makes her even stronger!

STUBBORN
Birdie can be as stubborn as a mule at times! While she does tend to slip on a mask in front of her parents, that mask has slowly started to crack, her true self shining through! And her true self is a much more fierce and sassy girl than she lets on. For the pen is mightier than the sword! And she can use her words like a weapon, she speaks her mind and she doesn't let anybody else do it for her.
She hates being told to be quiet or being expected to act like a nice hollow porcelain doll. She's bold! Cheeky! And full of spirit! Ain't no one going to be able to extinguish the flame that burns within!
Bee won't change herself for anybody, if she sees a problem she's quick to voice it. She used to only tell her siblings, but she's becoming more open to the idea of letting her parents know what exactly is on her mind. She's headstrong and independent.
She's quite the determined sprite, she hates the mere idea of giving up and is always bouncing around thinking of anything humanly possibly to work to her advantage. She can't let anything get in her way! She is more than capable of succeeding.
It's no shock to learn that Birdie is rebellious, always challenging the status quo of the modern woman and defying the rules set up by her parents. The only person that can order her around is herself! This is her life to live! And my what an attitude she can have, it's actually quite shocking given her soft features but she can change as quick as the tides if tempted.

INTELLIGENT
Bernadette is intelligent and certainly clever, she knows her facts and won't change them for nobody. Bee has a habit of poking her nose into a lot of things. Eavesdropping on her siblings and parents? Maybe.. she hates to be excluded from things! The idea of a secret just irritates her!
Besides, she hardly gets caught. She's far too sneaky and quick for that.
She's observant and resourceful, she knows how to use her surroundings to her advantage and to make the best of what she has. The moment she steps into a room she's doing a full scan of it. She knows a good opportunity when she sees one.
She's creative with her thinking! Her mind is a vast colourful fountain that continues to sprout idea after idea. Honestly, the things she comes up with are either insane or jaw dropping. Her imagination is one of her strongest assets, and everyday she's out in the rivers or reading one of her many books it only grows and grows.
She's a fast thinker! She doesn't take too much time to delay, ideas often come to her with a snap of her fingers. She's a fast learner as well! Well, unless it's languages, she's trying her best!
Everything else just sounds so much more fun to master than learning new verbs and adjectives in different languages.
At times, birdie can be a walking talking dictionary of sorts, she has a habit of learning wild and whacky facts, often spluttering them out whenever she's bored or meets a new person. She's knowledgeable, somehow she has an amazing memory after stuffing it with useless facts.
Birdie is a big day dreamer! Like a massive one! She gets so lost in her thought that she may forgot the time, the date and even whatever she was doing before being plunged into the depths of her own mind.

GOOFBALL
Birdie is a bit of goofball! People tend to view her as odd which she is no stranger in knowing, though she doesn't care that much. She likes being odd! Being normal is boring! She prides herself in her individuality!
She can be a bit clumsy- ok she's always clumsy, she unfortunately does not at all possess that amazing posture of her older sister.
She's spunky and loves to get you thinking about every possibility. She is of course playful and absolutely loves joking around with her friends and siblings.
Whoever denies that Bee is a comedian is a lair! She can get creative and witty with her jokes, even her insults too. She has a habit of swearing like a sailor, but most of the time.
Bee is a social butterfly! She's almost always in a chirped mood, choosing to be optimistic about whatever the world has in store for her. She is quite the chatterbox.
Birdie is often seen as too loud and strange, the way she behaviours is far from what is expected from a young Ambroise. She acts more like a wilding than the civilised lady her mother is so desperately trying to raise her to be.

INSECURE
She's said it a million times, she will never change for anybody! But even after all of that, Birdie can't help but desperately want her parents approval. They are after all her parents. Just one smile in her direction, one look or perhaps a tear of pride. She can't help but think they don't like the woman she's growing to be.
What if she curled her hair more? Wore more ribbons or focused more on her private lessons rather than sketching flowers into the desk? Would that earn her parents love?
Oh she despises herself for it! But she can't help but feel the tiniest bit of envy towards her older sister. She's just so perfect. And she doesn't hate her for it! She just makes it so easy for people to like her.
Bee hides her insecurities behind her daring stunts and cheeky smiles, but no matter how hard she tries to ignore the voice in the back of her head, it's there to stay.

"Sometimes the little things in life are more than enough"

𝙱𝚛𝚎𝚒𝚏 𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢-
Second best. No matter how hard she tried, how big she smiled, or how much frills were sewed into her dresses, that's where Birdie would always fall when it came to her big sister. And at first, it had a bigger impact that you would've thought. Her parents always looked for perfection. Not one hair out of place, not one step or one word.
And although perfect didn't sound so pleasant to Birdie's ears, for a time, all she wanted to be was her parents perfect daughter.
But It seemed that spot had already been taken. And good! Because the longer she stared, the more 'perfect' sounded like prison!
Bernadette was always ahead of her time, she wanted to do what she wanted to do, not be held down by her parents words or disapproving gaze.
She would often head down to the village to explore, quickly associating herself with the mischievous boy's who would disappear into the woods and plays around in the river.
While she isn't under as big of a magnifying glass as the rest of her siblings, she still has a curfew placed upon her. It's a shame she doesn't follow it because it's out the window she goes!

"No does not mean convince me"

𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗢𝗡:
𝚂𝚎𝚡𝚒𝚜𝚒𝚖-
This really boils her blood.
So what is she was born with a y instead of an x? She doesn't understand what makes her so inferior to a couple of boys, she can out run any of them! Bernadette believes she can do anything a boy can do, and so can every other girl her age. She is never one for shutting her mouth, so when she has an opinion she'll say it rather than sitting silent and looking pretty.
Whenever she is met with a clear example of sexism, she has no problem with barking back.
She will proudly proclaim herself a feminist.

𝙷𝚘𝚖𝚘𝚙𝚑𝚘𝚋𝚒𝚊-
What happened to 'love conquers all' in all those old sappy romance books she would stay up late reading? (a guilty pleasure she would never admit too). There's no restrictions on love. So Why must people try and make it so inclusive? Birdie herself has had instances were she stared at at a girl for a bit too longer than she originally should have. It didn't feel wrong? Nor did it feel like she was committing a deadly sin.
So in short, She finds homophobia utterly ridiculous.

𝚁𝚊𝚌𝚒𝚜𝚒𝚖-
Bee has read books from and about places all over the world! People of multiple of cultures and skills! So much new and exciting things, and yet people are afraid of the 'abnormal'. Again, another stupid rule made by society. She sees no difference in someone who has a different skin tone to her, the same way she finds no difference in different eye colour or hair.

𝚂𝚎𝚡, 𝚍𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐, 𝚍𝚛𝚞𝚐𝚜-
Although she may be young, she certainly isn't oblivious to the world around her and what adults do when the lights go out.
While Birdie herself Isn't too invested in sex, if other adults want to do the act with a loved one or stranger, she isn't going to wave a poster and yell out all the reasons on why not to do that.

Growing up in France, Drinking is everywhere she goes, Bee is often offered little sips of wine from her mother whenever the sun shines bright. She doesn't particularly like the taste of it, but she can see why others might enjoy it so much. Some people just like bitter drinks. Like coffee! She'll never understand coffee.

Bernadette doesn't have much exposure to drugs, but she's still aware that they do indeed exist. She often hears some of the older kids in the village whisper and mutter about them. Her opinions are slightly biased on things she's heard. They make your brain fuzzy right? Why would anyone want that?

𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗚: Lost by Fin
𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗥𝗔:
•A pro of climbing in and out of her window undetected down the green vines that decorate the outside walls of her room.
•Wears flowers crowns and dubs herself queen of the rivers
•Obsessed with flowers, she has a little journal dedicated to all things coming from Mother Nature herself. Anything that comes from the ground or lives in the trees is automatically her friend.
•Also a hobby of flower pressing
•Regularly disappears with the boys from the village to raid the forest
•Bookworm and keeper of weird facts no one asked for
