KAZENOSUKE

"It's OK, baby girl. Let it all out. Let it all out."

Destiny had just finished trying to talk to Kazenosuke about her unintentionally killing Kiandre (and Kassandra too, indirectly) but Kazenosuke was really vexed at her and he didn't want to listen.

To be honest though, Destiny couldn't really have blamed the guy. She would have been pretty dang annoyed too if her so called "friend" had unintentionally killed one of her best friends.

But Kazenosuke wasn't pretty mad at Destiny for killing Kiandre.

He was very mad at Destiny for killing Kiandre, and Destiny had hated herself too for that.

It was even worse for Kazenosuke because not only did he lose Kiandre and Kassandra due to Destiny, but his mum was close to death as well.

He had his younger sister Candi Rose and everything, but what if something bad had happened to her?

Kazenosuke didn't want to think about that, but he still did anyway, because his thoughts and what he had thought about were unconscious.

Obviously, the kid didn't want to tell anyone about what he was going through right now, because he didn't really want anyone to get involved in his own personal problems.

Kazenosuke didn't want anyone to get involved in his problems so much that he hadn't even told Terrence, Kerazin or Trevor aka three of the kid's best friends besides Kiandre because he was dead now, about his personal problems.

Kazenosuke was a very private person now, and if someone had had a problem with that, then the Kazenosuke had immediately had a problem with them.

Destiny and Kazenosuke's conversation did not really go down well though, at all.

"Kazenosuke..." Destiny was really quiet. "I know you're mad at me.. but can we talk?"

When Kazenosuke had seen her, he had gotten furious, wanting to leave but didn't because he wanted to shout at her.

"What are you doing here, Destiny?! I thought I told you never to speak to me again!"

"I didn't mean to kill Kiandre..."

Kazenosuke was even more annoyed than before.

"You just don't understand, do you?!" He ranted at her. He was actually crying now, and Destiny had felt really guilty. "Kiandre was my best friend! And he's gone now, thanks to you! Are you happy?!"

Destiny didn't reply.

"But you've got Kerazin and Terrence though. Even Trevor as well."

"They're not the same as Kiandre though! I'm close to them, but not as close as I was to Kiandre, so back off before I hurt you!"

Then they had gone their separate ways after that- Destiny to her girls and Kazenosuke?

Only God knew, but he wasn't there anymore.

Destiny couldn't have stopped crying to her girls about the whole situation.

"I didn't mean to kill Kiandre," Destiny had said through tears, all of her friends hugging her except Esmeralda as she wasn't exactly here right now.

"And I'm just tryna tell Kazenosuke that, but he won't listen."

"Girl, give the guy space," Valentina suggested. "Sekani's still not over Kiandre and Kassandra's deaths, so what makes you think Kazenosuke is?"

To be fair, she had a point.

But despite this?

Destiny still wasn't really paying attention.

Then she realised something.

Kazenosuke was mad at her for killing Kiandre...

But he wasn't mad at any of Destiny's girls, because they hadn't killed Kiandre.

"Oh hell no!" Calista had quietly shouted, when Destiny had asked if one of them could have gone to talk to Kazenosuke instead. "Destiny, just leave him alone. He'll think you're desperate or something. Do you really want that for yourself?"

"I am desperate, Calista. I just wanna help the guy out. And apologise. But apologise first before helping him out though. I don't like people being mad at me. It makes me uncomfortable. Really uncomfortable."

She was so cute.

But no.

Where was she when Kerazin had told her not to get involved into Kazenosuke's problems?

"How do I make it up to Kazenosuke?" She wanted to know. "He's really mad at me. And also, how comes you're not mad at me for pepper spraying Kiandre?"

"Nah, I wouldn't mess with Kazenosuke if I were you. The kid's had it rough. And I don't know, really. He kinda deserved it to be honest, for rejecting an amazing girl like you. But he didn't deserve to die though."

Was she even listening?

It didn't seem like it.

After some constant persuasion, Janette had eventually got forced by Destiny to try and confront Kazenosuke, mainly because nobody else wanted to do it.

Now that that was sorted, there was only one problem though.

And it was...

"Where is Kazenosuke? He ain't even here anymore," Janette had shouted at them, turning back to face them in indignation.

"Look for him, babe. You're really good at that. You were amazing at hide and seek in primary school," Valentina had reminded her.

Hearing that, Janette had just stared at them, before pretty much rolling her eyes comically, then she headed off to find Kazenosuke.

Unfortunately for her though.

Kazenosuke was literally nowhere to be seen.

This was probably on purpose though, to be honest. As in, he didn't want really anyone to talk to him and all that.

I knew this was a bad idea.

Lunch is ending soon.

And we gotta start our lectures again.

Janette had looked pretty hopeless really, trying to look around for Kazenosuke and all that.

She was pretty much running around like a headless chicken at this point, although when she had eventually found Kazenosuke?

He was right near the water fountain, sitting on the floor.

But he was talking to Kerazin and Terrence about something.

For goodness sake, why are Kerazin and Terrence there?! Janette wanted to say out loud but didn't, for very obvious reasons.

She had decided to wait for them to finish talking to him for a really long time, although things had really seemed hopeless right now because Kerazin and Terrence literally wouldn't have moved from where they were.

But then.

Literally when all hope was lost...

Kerazin and Terrence had left the scene after like ten minutes, hugging and fist bumping Kazenosuke before they had gone once and for all.

Before Janette had talked to Kazenosuke though, she had to pray to God that everything was going to be OK, and it was.

Just not straight away.

When Janette had seen him, Kazenosuke was throwing stones at the water fountain because he was bored and he had nothing else to do, which was when Janette had decided to come over to him at the bench.

"Kazenosuke?" She had muttered quietly to him. "Can we talk?"

Kazenosuke had known Janette's voice, but he had forgotten which voice her voice had belonged to, if that had made sense anyway.

He had ignored her for a second, but when he had turned to face her?

He wasn't happy either.

"Gosh, if it ain't Destiny then it's just gotta be one of you lot, isn't it?!"

"Kazenosuke, please."

"Go away, Janette!" Kazenosuke had shouted at her really loudly for everyone watching to stop and stare at them, but not say or do anything as they didn't want to get involved.

"Just leave. Please. I don't want to talk to anyone right now, including you lot."

"Can't you just hear me out?"

Kazenosuke didn't say anything for a while again, purposely avoiding eye contact with her, before sighing to himself and saying fine.

But she only had ten minutes because lunch had ended in ten minutes and he didn't want to miss his lecture.

"Look, Kazenosuke, I know you're really mad at Destiny for killing Kiandre," Janette had started, sitting down right next to him- she was standing before. "But honestly, bro? The girl didn't mean any harm. She honestly didn't intend to kill him, at all."

He had fallen silent for a while again.

Before turning around and looking at Janette dead in the eye.

"So you're saying Destiny had killed Kiandre by 'accident', quote unquote?"

Janette nodded.

This made Kazenosuke absolutely furious.

"How the hell could she possibly have killed Kiandre by accident, Janette?! So you're telling me that she pepper sprayed him by accident?"

"I'm sorry, but have you even stopped to consider why Destiny might have pepper sprayed Kiandre in the first place? Back at Same Difference just over two months ago, he had tried to kiss her but she freaked out."

"So she had therefore decided to pepper sprayed him for that?"

That didn't make any sense.

To be honest, Kazenosuke really had a point here though, and Janette had realised that as well.

Destiny pepper spraying Kiandre was a wrong move, end of story.

Kazenosuke had taken a really deep breath over shouting so much, before calming himself down then talking to Janette again.

"Look, I'm sorry to say this but Destiny's just as bad as Kiandre was, for rejecting her. But that's not the only reason I'm aggravated at her though. When I had asked her back at Same Difference if she knew where Kerazin and Kiandre were, she had said that they were in the nightclub but she knew very well that they had gone to the hospital. So therefore, when I had found this out, I became very angry at her for it because I had spent and wasted countless minutes tryna look for them around the nightclub, not realising that they had gone to the hospital."

Janette sighed.

Now she was kinda mad at Destiny too, for making Kazenosuke go through all this.

"Listen, Kazenosuke." She began, looking deep into his eyes and vice versa as well, for a really long time.

"Destiny didn't mean any harm. Please, believe me. She's really sorry for what she did. In fact, she's so sorry that she sent me to talk to you because you had yelled at her when she had tried to talk to you, and she didn't want that to happen again. I'm not saying forgive her for killing Kiandre today exactly but you should do so in the future, as not forgiving others is a sin. I know it's hard to believe that Kiandre's really gone but... we can get through this together, if we tried."

Kazenosuke had felt really bad enough.

Destiny was trying.

She really was.

And she was a sweet kid, with Kazenosuke knowing this from experience.

So even if he was mad at her, how long would that really have lasted?

Not that long, that was for sure.

"I'll consider it." Kazenosuke deadpanned, staring at the floor in front of him instead of Janette's face, like she was doing with him. "Come to think of it, maybe I have been a bit hard on her."

Ya think?

But then again.

She did kill two of his closest homies, so Kazenosuke wasn't that rude to her, right?

Janette had said exactly before asking him if there was anything else he was going through that he wanted her to know about, but he had said no.

Then he had changed his mind and had explained to her how his mum was dying. He had even accidentally told her which hospital she had gone to... but when Janette wanted to help him out, Kazenosuke had said no.

Otherwise he would have hurt her and her friends, and he would have been very mad at her.

He had felt guilty telling Janette as neither Kerazin, Terrence or Trevor knew about his personal problems...

But at the same time, he really needed to get it off his chest, and this might have been the only chance to do so.

They had then hugged each other after their conversation, then they had departed their separate ways once and for all.

Janette had told her girls everything, but even though she had said to them not to help Kazenosuke out (especially Destiny)...

Destiny hadn't listened to her.

Before finding Trevor after everybody's lecture.
