2| He's So Fine, Kinda Wish He Was Mine
☆ DESTINY ☆
"Hold up, girl, how do you know Kiandre's going to be at this nightclub?"
Destiny still didn't want to go, but honestly, if Kiandre was going to be there, then she was definitely going.
To be honest, Janette didn't even know how she knew that Kiandre was going to be there, but she did.
No, she didn't lie about it. Kiandre was going to be at the nightclub tonight. She had just forgotten her evidence for it.
Luckily, even though she had forgotten the evidence for it, Esmeralda remembered it. She had scrolled through Instagram on her phone, going on Kiandre's account.
"It's on his Instagram, boo."
Bringing out her phone to see if this information was actually true or not, Destiny scrolled very frantically to see if it was on his Instagram, but she couldn't find it.
It would have been way more useful if she actually had the kid on Instagram, but she didn't. She wanted to ask him for his Instagram but she was way too scared to do so.
When Destiny told her friends that she didn't have Kiandre's Instagram, they all freaked out like crazy, staring at her as if she was absolutely insane.
She wasn't though. What was the crime about not having Kiandre's Instagram? Jesus Christ.
"You don't have Kiandre's Instagram? Everyone has Kiandre's Instagram!"
"No one has Kiandre's Instagram, Calista," Valentina corrected her, rolling her eyes and throwing a yellow silk pillow at her. "Kiandre hardly talks to anyone. We were just lucky enough to get it."
Showing Destiny what Kiandre had posted, Esmeralda sat down on Destiny's studying table, where Destiny deeply examined the post.
Damn, he's so fine, I just wish he was mine, Destiny thought to herself, but didn't say this out loud for very predictable reasons.
She had already gotten her friends thinking that she was crazy enough. She didn't need to emphasise this by literally thinking out loud.
What the caption had said? One might have asked or wondered to themselves.
This.
Can't wait for the nightclub party at Same Difference tonight, hit me up below in the comments if you're going!
Same Difference was an... interesting name for a nightclub but it had actually made sense on why it was called that.
The left side of the nightclub had pink neon wallpaper, with everything in it being blue, and the right side of the nightclub had blue wallpaper, with everything in it being pink instead.
Destiny lowkey wanted to drool over how hot Kiandre looked on his Instagram but she didn't, she just sighed happily whilst giving Esmeralda's phone back to her.
"On a real level though," she whispered, after giving Esmeralda's phone back to her. "Kiandre hates nightclubs. He says it's satanic... so why does he suddenly want to go?"
"His friends are forcing him to go," Calista explained. "That's kinda why we're forcing you to go too. Maybe you can finally tell him you love him..."
Then all four of them minus Destiny started making kissing noises, with Destiny rolling her eyes, whilst throwing pillows at them playfully at the same time.
Then she laughed her head off before saying anything else.
"Girl, stop! I don't love him."
"Yeah you do, bebita (baby girl in Spanish)" Valentina argued. "You've been fancying him since the day you first laid eyes on him."
That was not true, at all.
Destiny was the kind of person that had focused on inner beauty instead of outer beauty more, thank God for that.
Outer beauty was so overrated. Didn't people realise inner beauty had mattered more? Outer beauty faded away eventually.
Kiandre was cute but he was also nice. If he was cute without being nice, then it just wasn't happening, boo.
"Not true," Destiny hissed. "I started liking him after my first conversation with him. I don't believe in love at first sight."
"Your first conversation with him was him asking you where the bus stop was, chica," Valentina reminded her. "And that wasn't even a proper conversation because you were too busy staring at him to actually say anything."
Sadly, that was true.
"Excuse me, do you know where the bus stop is?"
Destiny was sitting down on the chairs by herself, reading the Bible thoroughly. She had been studying the book of Job lately, as that book had truly mesmerised her.
Job lost everything, yet at the end, he had received double the amount of everything that he had lost.
On top of that, he even thanked God for everything, despite his adversities. Job was crazy inspirational, and Destiny had admired him a lot for it.
God really was a miracle worker, blessing Job with double of what he had.
Destiny hadn't listened to a word Kiandre had asked her, because she was listening to gospel music. They had just finished drama club at school for the first time, and whilst Destiny was waiting for a ride home, Kiandre was taking the bus instead.
When he realised that Destiny hadn't replied to his question, he came closer to her, asking her the same thing.
"Hey. Do you know where the bus stop is?" He asked again.
"Which bus stop?" Destiny hadn't looked up from her seat once.
Rummaging through his bag, Kiandre then went on his phone, before checking bus times on it, and showing it to Destiny.
It just said bus stops but not really where the bus stops were for people that didn't know.
"This one."
The name of the bus stop was called Kinveachy Gardens, with Kiandre zooming in on it.
When Destiny looked up at him to tell him that she didn't know where it was, she.
Wouldn't.
Stop.
Staring.
"You OK? Do you know where the bus stop is or not?"
"Uh...." She couldn't breathe. "Uhm..."
She knew where it was, yeah. But she couldn't say actual words anymore after realising how fine Kiandre was.
"I've got to go... bye!"
Then she dashed off.
In the meantime, whilst she was running, Kiandre still yelled at her if she knew where the bus stop was... but she didn't reply as she was too far away.
Strange, Kiandre thought to himself when she had disappeared. Very strange.
Then he walked off too, trying to find the bus stop himself but seriously failing to do so.
Kiandre had thought she was weird afterwards. Who wouldn't? Destiny was literally staring him down as though he was the most handsome person in the world.
And things had only gotten worse from there, because Destiny had always made a downright fool of herself whenever she saw Kiandre.
Janette noticed that the nightclub party was starting really soon, but neither of them had bought a popping outfit yet.
They only had three hours left to do so, so when all of them had realised this, they dashed out of the house and into the car.
Or more specifically, Cadillac.
Which belonged to Esmeralda.
Esmeralda's parents were stinking rich. They had lived on the other side of the UK, the rich side apparently, and had owned half of Buenos Aires too.
Her Cadillac was blasting music, which all of the five girls were singing to. People around them just stared at them, but they didn't care: let the laters hate.
Why you looking like I'm that kinda girl
Just cause I'm hot
Don't mean that I'm that girl
If you want me, don't treat me like I'm her
Don't get messed up, I'm not that kinda girl
"Girl, we didn't have to ride your Cadillac just to get to the shop," Destiny said, smiling.
"Yes, we did boo. You've always got to look good for the public," Esmeralda warned her, flicking her hair. "You can learn a few lessons from me, no disrespect."
All five of them had gotten out of the car eventually (and happily too for that matter), however when Destiny had found out where they were, she didn't seem to be very happy about it.
Where were they?
Richard Gold.
The most expensive shop in the world.
What was Esmeralda thinking?
Destiny was pretty broke, she didn't have any money. Her mother had given her some, but she didn't exactly say that she was shopping for the nightclub tonight.
In other words, Denise knew that Destiny was going out shopping with her friends, and surprisingly, she was OK with it.
What Destiny didn't tell her, however, was that she was actually going shopping for the nightclub party tonight. She would have been in big trouble if she had set foot in a nightclub, especially Same Difference.
It was one of the most dangerous nightclubs out there, bro. People had gotten drunk as hell there, and some crazy stuff had happened.
"Why are we in Richard Gold, girl? This shop is crazy expensive!"
"We've got a high budget though. We've got a lot of money between us." Calista reminded her.
It was way too late to turn back anyway. They were all here now, so there was no point of going back now.
Only strange people had left a shop before they had even gone inside.
Richard Gold was beautiful.
It had a golden revolving door, and literally everything was gold, hence the name.
The clothes were amazing too. Dresses were on one side, with the length of the dresses becoming longer from left to right, and trousers and everything else was on the right.
Describing it in detail would have taken way too long, but it was aesthetically pleasing, and even the lighting was amazing as well.
There were four floors overall: and inevitably, the five girls were on the ground floor. The first floor was for women, second men and last children.
Despite this though, there were some men and children's clothing on the ground floor, mainly because the maker of the shop kind of felt bad that men and children had to go all the way up just to look for clothes.
"Ooh, dang girl... this dress be poppin'!" Janette beamed, bringing out a long gold satin dress from near the window. "What do you think, Destiny?"
No, the clothing wasn't gold too... they kind of were, but not all of them were.
When Destiny told Janette that she hated the dress (mainly because there was way too much cleavage) Janette had moaned at her, but then she respected her decision.
"Tell you what... how about we all shop individually for this nightclub party, and we meet up later in about thirty minutes or so?" Destiny suggested. "How does that sound?"
Her friends didn't seem to like the idea of all of them separating, but they had all agreed with Destiny to save time.
"Great!"
Then the five of them had separated, but before they had done that, they all hugged each other and had agreed to meet in half an hour's time.
Finally, Destiny thought to herself. I can finally shop for myself!
She had wandered around the shop jubilantly, greeting everyone along the way as she had liked interacting with people.
There were many things in that shop that was way above Destiny's budget (£50), which annoyed her because they were really pretty.
But that wasn't the worst bit though.
The worst bit was that there was someone else in the shop with her. Someone else that she knew, that wasn't her friends.
And it was...
Kiandre?! Destiny freaked out. What the heck is Kiandre doing here?
He was probably shopping for the nightclub party tonight too, come to think of it.
He can't see me! Destiny cried. I find it really hard to talk to him!
She had silently hid behind the clothes rack right opposite Kiandre, accidentally on purpose eavesdropping on the conversation he was having with his younger cousin by two years called Sekani.
But Destiny didn't know Sekani was there of course, though when she found this out, she wasn't very happy about it.
She hated Sekani.
