I have one thing to say, is there anything wrong with the chapter talk? Because I see sudden drops in reads for that one. If anything is wrong, please tell me so I can fix it.
Okay two things to say..... this is probably the penultimate chapter so I hope you've enjoyed the story to this point and want you two think of two things.....

1) What would you think of a sequel to this story? Either Inuyasha or Kamisama POV. Or both..... 😏
2) For you people who also watch Ranma 1/2, what would you think of a Ranma/Inuyasha crossover???

These ideas are just bouncing around my head so, depending on what people tell me, I may or may not create the stories. All I want to do is type book that lovely readers like you would enjoy. Now, on to the story......

Inuyasha, Tomoe, Sango ...... Everyone except Nanami and Kagome POV

"What are you two, er three, doing here?"

"We told you, we're here to help you save Kagome. By the looks of it we arrived at the right time, it's not like you to just sit around. I thought you'd destroyed half Japan by now trying to find her."

"We lost the trail and the white fox here," Inuyasha nodded towards Tomoe, ",has other means of finding them."

"Them? Who's them?" Intervened Sango. Who else had been taken with Kagome? And Who's was the Fox? Shippo had just briefly mentioned something like them but just after that, Miroku and Sango practically ran out. Now she was more confused than ever.

"That doesn't matter now. You and Miroku go home, I can handle it and you two have children to take care of now." Inuyasha tried stressing how much he wanted them to leave and be safer.

"Nope! We left the kids with Shippo and Kohaku, who's visiting. Kilala wanted to come with us so we let her for old times sake. Don't give me that look Inuyasha, nothing will happen to us. There's us, you, Kagome after we rescue her, and that guy sitting over there. We'll be fine." The easiness in Miroju's tone put Inuyasha on the edge. How could he be so at ease?!

"Fine you can stay." Huffed the hanyou.

"As if we were asking your permission, your lost without us or Kagome. I bet you forgot to bring bandages and medicine for the wound Shippo told us Kagome had." Sanyo patted the bag of essentials she'd brought. Inuyasha opened his mouth to argues but closed it, he knew it'd be useless.

The couple, and cat, got comfortable beside the fire while the yokai and demon sat apart each lost in their own thoughts.
Sango could help but wander about Tomoe. He didn't look like a normal demon more like a *daiyokai (like sesshomaru) Sango turned away when Tomoe caught her staring. They were all almost asleep when bluish fire ball came to their mini-camp, startling Miroku, Sango, and Kilala.

"Calm down you three," reassured Inuyasha who noticed their fighting positions. "It's just what the fox, Tomoe, is using to find Kagome and his companion Nanami." Inuyasha's explanation barely calmed them down especially when the fire started talking.

"We have found them. They are being held in what looks like a castle about four hours from here northward.

"Very well, I suggest leaving in the morning...."

The yokai looked around to see if anyone would object. When no one did, he lied down on the floor in darkness and tried to sleep. One by one the others did the same, somewhat knowing what was to come the next day yet at the same time feeling clueless.

*a very powerful type of demon that is much stronger and smarter than the common yōkai. \(>~<)/

Kagome and Nanami POV

The next morning Nanami woke up feeling weak from lack of water and food. Kagome who was stil unconscious didn't look worse, but didn't look better either. There was no sign of the giant which made the kamisama feel slightly relieved since it meant he wouldn't eat them just yet.

"But why he eat us? He said so hisself, he want to become a God. Then why would he wait and keep us up here captured? With enough time we could escape and all his efforts would be in vain." Nanami, who thought she was alone, thought out loud.

"So many questions kamisama." The demon spat out the last word as he walked out of his concealed position. "Because I'm that kind of demon, I'll answer one. Yes I am giving you time to escape, or for someone to come help you escape. That's right," the demon continued reading the look of recognition Nanami had," the yokai and hanyou are coming, with others. They plan to rescue you and defeat me oh how heroic!" The demon said in pretend awe and amazement. "But they'll never get through my army, they are the ones who told me of their whereabouts."

A large lizard like army came into the room, they each had a weapon and clothes like the demon's. The blank looks on their faces meant someone was controlling them. "The answer to you question is, when your friends get here, I will capture them and force them to watch as I devour you both. The shinshi will face utter failure when his precious mistress is devoured, an I shall finally have my revenge with Inu No Taisho through his son. The saying does go 'an eye for an eye'.

The demon took one look at the curious expression in Nanami's face and supigjed deeply, "You have a question right?"

"What did that Inu No Taisho guy do anyways? And what's this an aye for an eye thing?" The goddess went straight to the point.

"It's an expression. If you really want to know then I was fighting that dog when my son tried stepping in to help. He got mortally hurt and died while Taisho just walked away without care. Days later my wife also died from grief of loosing our son. In less than a month I lost everything and everyone important to me, now I shall finally (and indirectly) get back at my nemesis. Even though it's not him it will be the same. Now stop asking questions or after I eat you, I'll hurt the white fox enough that he dies slowly and painfully." The threat hung in the air as the demon left again, in a very angry mood.

Nanami couldn't help feeling a little bad for the demon. She knew what it was like loosing people you loved, but it just wasn't right to try and get them back with someone who wasn't even involved.

"Please hurry Tomoe." Nanami whimpered in the little corner she'd scrunched herself in, knees against her chest. Outside the sun slowly moved westward and inside, Kagome's breathe became a little more and more ragged.

(A/N don't worry, she won't die. I'm not that mean)

Everyone else POV

"Ready?"

Inuyasha, Miroku, and Sango nodded.

"Then let's go, everyone remember what you must do."

The group of four (five counting Kilala) put into action the plan they'd come up with about 3 hours earlier when they'd arrived.

Miroku and Sango began taking the guards out one by one silently. Since there were too many of them, by decreasing their numbers they'd get in easier. In a couple of minutes all the external guards were gone. The group made their way in taking out anyone else they met up with. They got lucky until one of the demon lizards saw them and sent out an alarm, then they ran.

Using Tomoe's fire as guidance they ran as fast as they could and soon found themselves in the 'throne' room. They thought they were alone until Inuyasha and Tomoe were grabbed from behind and immobilized seconds later. Sango and Miroku sank back into the shadows surprisingly unnoticed by the demon, who was fixed on the two captured white haired men.

No one worried though, this was all part of the plan. 😉🙃

"Ha! Did you really think you could free them and defeat me? You two are pathetic!" The demon laughed at them thinking victory was close at hand.

"We never thought we could" 'Inuyasha's' voice came out strangely high and feminine.

"But we knew they would be able to." 'Tomoe's voice wasn't as refined as it usually was.

From behind them came the clanking sound of a lock opening. From the cage, the real Inuyasha and Tomoe jumped down each holding the one they loved. Tomoe's magic leaves came off of Sango and Miroku revealing their true form. They each escaped the demon that held them captive and faced the main bad guy, ready to fight. The demon, who realized he'd been tricked, let out an ear splitting roar as his eyes turned red and wings sprouted from his back. His growth in sixteen made the building tremble and start falling down.

"I told you he had wings!" The hanyou yelled.

"Whatever," Tomoe looked down at Nanami who was starting to show the symptoms of their time traveling time ending," let's just get them out of here!"

Inuyasha grabbed Kagome's bow and arrow knowing she would want them then the six/seven ran towards the exit, the demon's 'army' also fleeing along with them to avoid being squished When the demon started catching up to them, Sango took Nanami and Kagome away on Kilala, so they could be safer. Miroku, after some argument left after them to make sure nothing attacked from below.

"Go! And hurry!" Inuyasha urged. Now it was up to him and Tomoe to defeat the demon.

"You two took away any chance I had at getting revenge and becoming God. Since I can't get your women I'll get you!"

He began swiping at them and landed a couple of painful blows on each. They kept like that for a while Inuyasha and Tomoe not being able hurt the demon at all. Finally, when he was purely focused on Tomoe, Inuyasha got tessaiga ready to finish him with the wind scar.

"Wind scar!!!!!" He lashed at the surprised demon, cutting him to pieces. Tomoe then used his fire to turn him into ash.

'This is not oveeeeeeeer......" was the last thing the demon managed to say.

(Yes, this is a H O R R I B L E  battle scene and I'm sooooo sorry I couldn't make it better but I tried.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😓😓😓😪😓😓😰😰😰😰😰😰😰S O R R Y!!!!!!!! Imagine a better one if you can okay?!)

Inuyasha and Tomoe looked at eachother, both tired, a bit hurt, but relieved it was over.

"You know what you lowly half demon?"

"What you conceited sly fox"

"We make a pretty good team"

Inuyasha smiled at him.

"I guess we do."

They went in the direction Kilala had taken a while ago, to see if Kagome and Nanami were okay. Tomoe stumbled a little as they walked, his and Nanami's time in the feudal era was almost over and his body was making him know it very well.

I almost didn't finish this story in time😅. Thank kamisama I did! 😉 I hope you are enjoying this and I'm sorry if I've made you suffer with the kidnapping..... Makes me realize why Rumiko Takahashi did it to us the entire series..... Hehehehehe 😅😰 Anyways..... I want to thank nightwalker1234 for adding this story to their reading list so check out this kind, generous, motivational person (I like Chat noir and Percy Jackson too!😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆) Don't forget to read- vote-comment.... oh! And my cousin is gonna visit with her family next week all the way from Mexico, she's never been to the USA so we are going to show them all around and I might just might update a little late but I'm not sure.
