We are reaching the end of this story! Not yet but very, very soon and I have a tiny surprise for you!!!!! You just gotta wait, believe me it's a very small surprise 😈😈😈😈. I started watching escaflowne and accidentally found out something kinda sad about how it ends with Hitomi and Van. Now, I just don't know anymore. I wanna keep watching it cause it's sooooooo good buuuuuuuuut....... idk. Enough about my life, to the story!

Everyone POV

When Tomoe and Inuyasha arrived with the others, Sango was just finishing bandaging Kagome's hurt shoulder while Miroku sat a ways apart gaurding them and Nanami leaned against a tree, time traveling symptoms taking a toll on her body. Inuyasha and Tomoe immediately went to their women, Miroku and Sango backing away with Kilala.

"Inuyasha, now that you're here and the others are safe, we'll go back to the village. We don't want to trouble Kohaku and Shippo too much but we'll visit later." The monk promised.

Sango handed Inuyasha the bandages and herbs in case they needed them, then she and Miroku flew towards on Kilala. Inuyasha turned back to Kagome who'd began waking up.

"Inuyasha?"she said feebly.

"Kagome!!"

The hanyou rushed and kneeled in front of her, gently picking her up to hold her close. He remembered when Kagome had been poisoned by one of the members of the band of seven, and he thought she'd died. This situation was almost the same. He didn't let go of her, relieved she was in his arms her heart beating lungs, breathing, sweet voice calling his name.

(Ps remember when she did get poisoned and how he held her? They're like that 😉)

"Inuyasha I'm okay, don't worry."She reassured.

"How could I not be worried!? I'm sorry Kagome, I failed you again and now you're hurt. I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you." Tears threatened to spill from Inuyasha's eyes as he blamed himself over and over, he turned his head away so Kagome wouldn't see him.

"Inuyasha look at me," the miko said softly,"it was never your fault. No one planned for this to happen, you saved me, we are together again and that's what matters to me." Inuyasha turned to Kagome and saw the truthfulness of her words.

"Kagome...."

He pulled her close and they kissed, both relieved everything was over. When it was over Inuyasha softly nuzzled his head in Kagome's neck breathing in her sweet comforting scent.

Sounds coming from behind them made them remember they weren't alone. The blushing pair separated, each as red as Inuyasha's fire rat robe.

"Why dont you make sure Nanami doesn't need any of those." She pointed to Sango's 'first aid' bag (even though those probably didn't exist in feudal Japan)

"Su-sure. Will you be ok?" Despite waking up and talking Kagome's skin was still slightly pale, getting better by the minute, and her breathing not so even.

"I'll be fine, now go and check on them." Inuyasha set her against the trunk of a tree making sure she was as comfortable as can be before going with the other pair.

Nanami, who had also awaken and wasn't gravely injured at all, was telling Tomoe everything that had happened since the time they were kidnaped. When Inuyasha arrived she drank water until her thirst was quenched then continued talking with a bit more ease.

She told of the demon's story behind his wish for revenge and the threats he'd made. When she was finished, her body felt heavier and it was getting harder and harder to talk. Inuyasha and Tomoe began making preparations to get moving before night came gathering whatever they had to take. Tomoe held Nanami piggyback style so she wouldn't have to walk and turned to face her.

"Are you okay?" The familiar was still really worried about his master despite her showing signs of being good.

"Yes but Tomoe, it's almost time to go back and we haven't even found Yukiji! It's ... getting... harder.... to speak." The Kamisama managed to get out.

"I know. Honestly I can't wait to go back, if things turn out how I expect the shrine must be half destroyed by now. Don't worry about the Yukiji person I don't think we'll find her here."

"Have more faith.... in Mizuki. You're.. probably right ....about Yukiji. How is it..... easy for you.... to speak?"

"I have more strength than a weak human woman like you"

The only reply was a huff from the time-traveling tired Kamisama. Tomoe looked forward again only to be met by a pink arrow that whizzed right by him. A grunt was heard from behind as a soldier from the demon's army was struck, falling dead on the ground. Kagome stood next a tree leaning on it for support, her bow in one hand. She was swaying a little and Inuyasha rushed to catch her as she slipped.

Tomoe was just left speechless. The amount of spiritual power Kagome had! He never thought any mortal could be so powerful and strong.He walked up to the hanyou who carried the still miko.

"Kagome, you-you used your last arrow to save me............(long pause later) Th-thank you."the fox humbly said.

"It's nothing Tomoe, you and Nanami were both in trouble and I had to save you"

Inuyasha looked down on her admiringly,"That's my wife," Kagome smiled at him.

"Oh, if only Nanami had such powers," the shinshi lamented.

"Hey!" Nanami whined in protest.

"Do not worry Nanami, you are my one and only lady, mistress, and kamisama. I wouldn't trade you for anyone."

"Tomoe........"

Kagome felt touched by what Tomoe said while Inuyasha slightly rolled his eyes. Kagome caught the movement and wouldn't let it pass.

"Inuyasha! Pay attention you could learn a couple of things from Tomoe."

"You want me to speak like that!? Ha!!!" He began walking towards their home while carrying Kagome bridal style. The priestess found a new strength and used it to continue arguing with Inuyasha. Just like in the old times...

"I still seem to remember our talk what...two days ago? 'Speaking like that' didn't seem to bother you."

Inuyasha blushed,"I....... was caught up in the moment. Now stop moving or you'll fall."

"If I fall than I'll be able to S-I-T you! You carrying me is the only reason I'm not doing it!"

"Then if I 'accidentally' drop you you'll be able to right?"

Kagome groaned painfully,"Are you okay!? I'm sorry did I hurt you!?" Inuyasha panicked and stopped walking.

"No, it doesn't hurt a lot anymore. I wanted to see how you would react"

"Kagome!!!!"

They continued bickering while the other couple just watched.

"Wasn't Kagome about to faint less than 5 minutes ago?" Tomoe stated bluntly surprised at what was happening.

"Yes but when you want to argue, you find the strength. Still, as the God of matchmaking I declare them perfect together." Stated the 'God of Matchmaking'.

"Mhm, let's just catch up before they leave us." Tomoe followed the sound of the other two quarreling while Nanami made herself comfortable, leaning against him.

"Thank you Tomoe, I knew you would come save me." The Kamisama whispered before falling asleep.

Tomoe looked back at the peacefully sleeping girl and smiled, he'd finally found his answer.

"I'll always and forever be with you Nanami, no matter where we are. I'll always be there for you." He promised out loud even though no one heard him," always and forever....."

The next day.........

The four managed to get back juast as the moon began rising in the eastern sky, the temperature slightly dropping. They barely made it to their rooms before they practically collapsed with exhaustion well, Tomoe and Inuyasha. Kagome and Nanami took the liberty of sleeping since they were being carried.

Inuyasha and Kagome's argument hadn't lasted too long, the constant pace Inuyasha walked at and rhythm of his heartbeat lulled her to sleep before they could get really mad so he just let her rest.

Since Nanami and Tomoe knew their time left in the feudal Era was growing shorter, they all gathered in front of the house to say goodbye.

"Kagome... thank you for.... all you did despite...... how we treated you at first....."

"If it meant meeting you I'm glad it happened." Bothe girls smiled warmly at eachother.

"It wasn't that bad coming here," admitted Tomoe, " but I'm glad I finally get to leave and not have to be with a half demon"

"Tomoe!"

"Good riddance damn fox" muttered Inuyasha quite loudly.

"Inuyasha! SIT BOY!" Inuyasha's face hit the dirt with a thud, emitting laughter from the white fox.

"Why Kagome?" Inuyasha painfully asked.

"That'll teach you to be rude, you had it coming."

"You too Tomoe. Apologize now!" The strictness in Nanami's words bound Tomoe into a kneeling position in front of Inuyasha who was standing back up.

"Sorry Inuyasha" he forcefully grumbled.

"Ha! So that's how she controls you huh? And you were calling me a dog."

"Inuyasha...." Kagome held up a stick with her unhurt shoulder and threw it. Inuyasha ran after it like a well... dog chasing a stick. Tomoe began laughing all over again which led to Nanami scolding him again. It went on for a few seconds till Tomoe could sit up on his own free will and Inuyasha came back sitting with his back to them,...not holding the stick.

"Anyways, Nanami I know our time was short but I enjoyed meeting you and hope we'll somehow meet again."

"In the....... future."

Kagome smiled one last time to her.

"In the future."

In front of her, Nanami glowed then dissolved into light same as Tomoe. They both traveled through a purple tunnel of light waking up in their beloved shrine.

"Nanami-san! You are finally back with Tomoe-Kun!"

Inuyasha POV

"They're finally gone huh?" Inuyasha came up next to Kagome.

"Yup, but admit it Inuyasha you didn't mind Tomoe's company at all."

"That idiot fox? I have no idea how Nanami puts up with him"

"Same way I put up with you........ because of love"

Inuyasha blushed at her words and looked away , 'I- I feel the same way Kagome,' once again he wasn't able to say it out loud.

"Now that I remember..... you said when they were gone we could spend time together. Since your hurt Kaede will definitely give you time off...... but it doesn't hurt that much does it?" Inuyasha smirked already planning what he and Kagome would do on their so called 'date'. ('Whatever silly modern word that was')

"I suppose it doesn't hurt too much, the effects of the poison have mostly warn off," Kagome stood up and fake sighed,"I have to keep my promise don't I?"

"You bet you do." They held hands walking inside, ready for a day all too themselves.

I feel like such a bad author! I rewatched some scenes of Kamisama kiss and I feel like the Nanami and Tomoe of this story don't act like they should😞😞😞😞same with Inuyasha and Kagome. I'm sorry, you readers deserve a better story! I'm gonna rewatch Kamisama Kiss then do a major edit session to this story, maybe then it'll be better? I hope so. I was gonna type something else then forgot about it....... oh well.
