Sam's POV
Me and Bucky have been married for 2 years already and I've been wanting to adopt a kid for a while now but I don't know how Bucky feels about it. Today I finally built up the courage to talk to him about adopting a kid. "Bucky" I called out since he's upstairs in our room and I'm on the couch watching tv "yes" he called back " come down I need to talk to you" a few seconds later he was sitting on the couch next to me " I don't know how to say this but" before I could finish talking he cut me off saying "Sammy please tell me you don't want a divorce" sounding really worried " no of course not I would never" I said putting a hand on his thigh to comfort him " oh ok good go ahead finish what you were saying" " as I was saying I was wondering how you felt about adopting a kid" " I don't know Sam what if I accidentally hurt the kid I would never forgive myself I've already done so many bad things" he said sounding really worried and sad " Bucky your different now you would never hurt the kid and everything that happen back then wasn't you that was the winter soldier" I said in a soft voice not trusting my self to not burst into tears because he doesn't even trust himself around kids anymore " I guess if you trust me trust me then I should trust my self" he said softly "so are you saying yes" I said trying not to sound to exited " yes that's what I'm saying" he said with a smile on his face I jumped off the couch in excitement and hugged him " thank you thank you thank you!!!" I yelled out so happy that I can finally have my dream of being a dad coming true.

1 week later
Today we went to the adoption center to meet with a few kids we met with 3 boys and 2 girls a few minutes with each but the second girl really stood out to us her name is Olivia she is the youngest out of all of the kids and pretty quiet she enjoyed decorating buckys metal arm with stickers and magnets after meeting with all the kids we told the person that we wanted to adopt Olivia she told us that the process would take a few months which I was completely fine with me and Bucky went home with big smiles that night

1 month later

Its been a month and we are finally able to adopt Olivia so we spent the next 2 day's setting up a bed room and play room for her

1 week later she called me daddy for the first time
2 days later she called Bucky papa for the first time

I think it's safe to mine and buckys lives are complete we always new there was something missing and we finally found that missing piece
