Sameer opens his eyes and sees Naina sleeping on his chest. He gently caresses her cheeks. Nainu, if you did remarry, I would have walked away from your life FOREVER, because I couldn’t bear the agony that you would go through, in choosing between your PAST and your PRESENT!'

Sameer is completely shocked, seeing the lab reports which said the use of  POTASSIUM CYANIDE. Reading it only one name came to his mind, 'Karan!'

Naina is confused. 'Who is he? How do you know him?'

'Nainu, we were together in college. He used to do experiment with this powder in the lab. And killed many innocent people to achieve his goal, but was not proved guilty as there were not enough evidence against him,' he explains, as anger is building inside him.

He calms himself down. 'I got Dad’s call regarding the board meeting, where they are all set to close the company of Dad and Maasa. We will have to do something.'

'But what?' She asked him.

'Don't worry Nainu, for that I got a perfect plan,' he just smiles cunningly and she nods in understanding.

'I need to tell you something important Sameer ji,' her tone becomes serious. He tells her to go ahead. She continues, 'That day..'

She tells him what had happened that day, when she got to know about Rohan being Aryan, and what happened after that.

He cups her face. 'Nainu, today whatever you told will remain between me, you and Abhishek. No one will ever get to know that. And from today I don’t want to hear this again!'

She nods and hugs him.

Saina cries as she senses her mother leaving again. Shefali pacifies her and Naina sneaks out through the back door.

Sameer walks closer to kiss the baby, but she turns her head and ducks it into Shefali's neck. She turns to look again after a moment and sees him still standing there, she ducks again.

'You and I are gonna have a serious talk when I get back!' He said.

'Bhai, your talking to her as if she is a big girl,' Shefali said amused.

'She is Sameer Maheshwari's daughter. SHE UNDERSTOOD MY EVERY WORD!' He said proudly.

He kisses the back of her head and walks out. She turns back to look again and when she sees that he have left, she starts crying.

Here Saina was playing her own hide and seek with her Dad.
