PART 87 ~ PAST GLIMPSE (1)

Next Day

Morning

St. Xavier’s College

Naina and Kartik arrives in her college, as he had wanted to see it and she too wanted to show him her college and their beautiful day’s.

Since, it’s winter break, very few students are there, including few staffs. He is really amazed to see the college. She shows him around, their favorite hangout spots, canteen, classroom and basketball court, where she and Sameer used to play, basketball and he always cheated to win.

Then, she shows him the garden, where Sameer used to manofy her and the same place, where her heart was broken, when he and Sunaina proposed each other. She gets emotional remembering the bitter memories, but a hand on her shoulder assures her, he is always there for her and he will help her, get rid of the painful memories.

She smiles, thanking him, for always being there for her!

Next she shows him auditorium, but while entering she again gets remained of her past, words echoing in her head. She looks at it, as the things surrounding her, keeps revolving along with her, as she recalls the painful past, which compelled her to leave India, never to return back but she did return, which again she regrets and now she is again there.

Flashback

It’s college’s annual day, and a play is going to be presented before the audience. All are very excited for it, as they worked very hard for this. Sunaina is the heroine and Preeti is playing her sister’s role in the play.

But here comes the problem, as the guy who is going to be the hero is ill, and the girl who is in love with the hero isn’t willing to play her role, as her dress in not upto the mark, and this leaves the organisers are in a fix. That’s when, Mr. Sharma suggests, Sameer’s name for the hero’s role, since the heroine is Sunaina and they are engaged too, so that’s the setting.

So, they got their hero, but who will be that girl, who is in love with the hero?

Mr. Sharma, then suggests Naina's name, since she and Sameer are best friend’s. And, with that, all the problem got sorted and they gets the props, and the script, which they need to prepare in half hour.

Naina decides, this might be her chance, to know and what will happen, if I tell the truth?

The play starts, as all are very engrossed in it. Then, comes the time, when the hero and the heroine’s wedding is going to take place, but before that he gets a diary of his friend, who is in love with him from the childhood, and he goes to confront her about it!

Though, he is in the act but she had already decided to play her card and she revealed her feelings for him.

'Mein tumse pyar karunga? How on Earth do you even got it?Dosti ke naam par yeh sab chal raha tha, tumhare dimag mein! You took advantage of my friendship! Now everything is over between us. Ab chali jao meri nazaro se! Just go😡!’

He walks away and the next day he gets married to the love of his life – The hero and the heroine have their happily ever after!

Little did they know, this had a huge impact on someone who has swore to never return to India again! He has broke her heart, and her self esteem and that’s the end of their friendship too!

They gets a standing ovation from the audience and a trophy too.

Flashback ends

She runs out crying her heart, while he consoles her and tells her to be strong. She nods and hugs him, feeling comfortable and soothing!
