Chapter Fifteen: We Should Probably Start Looking For Them
Charlotte POV

"Rriiiiiinnnggg!!!" The school bell rang, indicating that it was now the end of the day. I quickly ran out of my homeroom that I just had study hall in, a long with about twenty of my classmates. I sprinted all the way down to hallway with my books in my arms, towards my best friend, Henry's, locker. I had to talk to him about something that was really important.

Luckily, Henry was already at his purple locker, stuffing books into his black back pack, when I had finally reached it.

"Henry, I need to talk to you!" I told him.

Before Henry could answer me, my other best friend, Jasper, approached us, a long with his two friends, Sydney and Oliver.

"Hey, Henry and Charlotte!" They greeted us.

"Hey, Jasper, Sydney, and Oliver!" We greeted them back.

"I've been meaning to give these to you guys," Jasper stated, as he began to rummage through his back pack.

Jasper then pulled two little buckets out of his back pack. One was red and one was purple. The red one had Henry's name across it in blue letters and the purple one had my name across it in pink letters.

"I hope you guys like them!" Jasper told us, as he handed Henry the red bucket and me the purple one, "I got them at Bucket Con in New York City!"

"Thanks! We love them!" Henry and I thanked him.

"You're welcome!" Jasper replied, as he, Oliver, and Sydney walked towards the exit.

"So, what do you want to talk to me about?" Henry asked me, once Jasper, Oliver, and Sydney were too far away to hear us.

"Henry, we need to catch those vandals!" I exclaimed, "It's been a little over a week and they still haven't been found yet!"

"I know! Do you think that we should head over to the man cave and ask Ray what we should do about it?"

"Definitely," I agreed, as I nodded my head.

"Alright. I'll see you there then!"

"Ok, see you there!" I shouted back at Henry, as I headed towards my own locker.

By the time that I had finally reached Junk N' Stuff, Henry was already there, patiently waiting for me by the elevator. As soon as he had saw me, he pressed the down button on the control panel. By the time that I had finally caught up with Henry, we heard a loud, "Ding!" and the elevator opened, letting us both step inside of the dark-brown box. I pushed the round, white button that took you down into the man cave on the control panel, which was inside of the elevator. The two old-fashioned dark-brown doors merged together, closing us inside of the elevator. I gulped.

"Well, here we go again...," I whispered.

"And you would think that we would be used to this by now...," Henry muttered.

"I know, right!?!?"

Then all of the sudden, I felt like I was falling. Henry and I gripped onto the metal rails that were attached to the sides of the elevator, trying not to fall. Down towards the man cave the elevator went...

Then all of the sudden, the elevator came to a halt, causing Henry and I to accidentally let go of the rails, lose our balance, and fall onto the hard ground. Before the doors could close on us, we quickly scrambled out of the elevator.

"You really need to get that thing fixed, Ray!" Henry complained, as we helped each other stand back up.

"Yeah, but I choose not to," Ray, whom was wearing regular clothes, stated, as he turned around in his swivel chair that was right in front of his cool desk that was filled with super smart computers and other awesome gadgets that were all invented by Schwoz, an inventor that works for Captain Man.

"Ray, we need to talk to you!" I cried, as Henry and I rushed over to Ray.

Ray threw his head back and groaned. "Ugghh, is it about those dirty vandals again!?!?"

"Yes!"

"Has anybody found them yet?"

"No, and that is exactly why we came to you!" Henry told him.

"Well, have you kids been looking for them around your school, like I told you to?"

"Yes!" Henry and I both answered.

"And you still haven't seen them yet?"

"Nope!"

"We should probably start looking for them then."

"Yeah, no kidding, Ray!" I agreed in a sarcastic tone.

"What should we do?" Henry asked.

"I honestly have no idea," Ray sighed.

"Any ideas, Charlotte?"

"Why are you asking me!?!?" I complained, "Why do I always have to come up with everything!?!?"

"Because you're the smart one!"

"True."

"Yeah, so think of a way that we can catch these stupid vandals!" Ray ordered me.

I began to think for a moment. That's when it hit me.

"I've got it!" I finally announced.

"What is it!?!?" Both Henry and Ray asked me at the same exact time.

"Well, those vandals vandalized that wall in the daytime to attract attention to themselves, so they could get the iCarly gang and their friends in trouble, right?"

"Probably."

"Well, what if we were to go to places in Swellview that they might want to vandalize, so they can attract even more attention to themselves?"

Henry and Ray both contemplated on my idea for a moment.

"Sounds like a good idea," Ray complimented me, "Why don't you two go on your phones and look up places that we could go to to look for them?"

"Alright," Henry and I both agreed, as we pulled our clear Pear Phones out of our pockets.

After about five minutes of searching through Google for places that we could look for the vandals at, I found an article that really caught my attention. The article read:

"NEW MALL TO OPEN IN SWELLVIEW, NEW YORK, FRIDAY MORNING

For months, there has been some an innumerable amount of construction workers working on a huge project in Uptown Swellview, New York, on 753 Lily Lane. But, what have they been working exactly? Well, on Friday, December 19th, at 12:00 in the afternoon, Swellview is going to unveil their newest attraction, The Swellview Mall. The mall is said to be three-stories-tall and have a numerous amount of stores, such as, Macy*s, JCPenney, Sears, Target, Nordstrom's, Bloomingdales, a Pear Store, PetSmart, Walmart, Kmart, Toys R Us, Costclub, and a whole lot more. It is also said to have numerous restaurants, such as, Ruby Tuesday, TGI Fridays, Johnny Rocket's, The Cheesecake Warehouse, and much more! The Swellview Mall is definitely going to be the place to be this Friday!"

"Hey, guys!" I called over to Henry and Ray, "Look at what I found!"

"What did you find?" Henry asked me, as he and Ray gathered around me.

"Here, read this!" I demanded, as I held my my phone in front of their faces.

"Cool, there's going to be a new Pear Store here in Swellview!" Henry announced, after he and Ray were done reading the article.

"No, there's going to be a new mall!" I corrected him.

"Yeah, and there's going to be a Pear Store inside of it!"

"But, that's not my point!"

"Then, what is your point, because I am NOT interested in going inside any of those stores, besides PetSmart and the restaurants!"

"Yeah, me neither!" Ray agreed.

"My point is that there's a new mall opening here in Swellview on Friday!" I explained, starting to get annoyed.

"So?"

"So, since it's new, if the vandals were to vandalize it, it would cause them to attract a lot of attention to themselves!"

"Sounds like a good idea," Henry stated, "We should probably go there, as soon as it opens, so we can look for the vandals."

"Yeah," Ray and I agreed.

"And while you kids are looking for the vandals, I can finally get the rest of my Christmas shopping done!" Ray added.

"You still haven't finished your Christmas shopping yet!?!?" Henry asked, shocked.

"No," Ray sighed, as he shook his head.

"But, have quite a few months to do it!" I complained.

"I'm not very big on shopping, ok!?!?"

"And neither am I!" Henry agreed.

"But, what if we see the vandals, while you're shopping and we need you?" I asked.

"You know how to reach me!" Ray told us, as he turned towards Henry, "Henry, if that ever happens, call me with your wristwatch, ok?"

"Ok!" Henry agreed.

"So, it's agreed?" I asked, "We're all going to The Swellview Mall on Friday to look for the vandals?"

"Yup!" Henry and Ray both agreed.

"Ok. What time should we meet up there?"

"What time do you kids get out of school?" Ray asked.

"2:30."

"And how long does it take for you to get to Lily Lane from your school? Do you know?"

Henry and I thought for a moment.

"Not that long," Henry finally answered, "Probably ten-to-fifteen minutes."

"Ok. How does 2:45 sound?" Ray asked.

"2:45 sounds great!" Henry and I both agreed.

"Alright, see you guys then!" Captain Man told us, as he turned back around in his swivel chair, so that his back was facing us.

"See you later, Ray!" Henry and I both shouted back, as we headed back towards the old, sort-of-broken elevator.
