Raina POV

I'm freaking out.. I'm freaking out so bad.

"Hey.. you ok? You've been a bit out of it lately." Damon asked taking a seat on the couch next to me as I take a swing from the bottle and glance at him.

"No I am absolutely not ok." I say taking another swing.

"So what's wrong?" Damon asked.

"What's wrong? What's wrong is that I've been having sex with this guy all summer long, I've told him things about my past, I've talked about everything and anything with him and for the first time in a long time I was happy.. extremely happy Damon." I say putting the bottle down just to pull on my long hair and look at Damon.

"Why is that bad?" He asks.

"Because... Damon he doesn't love me the same way I love him. He likes someone else.. I'm just his distraction like he was supposed to be mine but one thing lead to another and now I can't stop thinking about him. Hell 30 years with Klaus and I never felt like this!" I say pulling on my hair again as I started pacing around by now.

"If Niklaus finds out about this Jeremy is as good as dead.. again." I say letting out a sigh and then gasped when I noticed I just told Damon who it was.

"Did you just say Jeremy? You've been having sex with Elena's brother?" His smirk started to appear making me glare.

"Yeah well she's playing you both having sex with her brother is the least I could do to her.. him being hot is just a plus." I say as he laughs making me roll my eyes.

"And what about you falling in love?" He asks smirking at me as I roll my eyes and lean on him.

"That's irrelevant." I say before I get a text and look at it to see it's Jeremy asking me to come over.

"I'll talk to you later bro." I say kissing his cheek and speeding out making it to his house climbing up the window to see him laying on his bed.

"Missed me?" I ask climbing in making him jump then hold his chest.

"Don't do that you scared me." He says making me chuckle.

"Right, ghosty thing. Forgot about that, sorry." I say giving him a smile as he caress my cheek.

"And yet when you're with me they seem to go away." He says looking in my eyes making me smile and as he leans in to kiss me we hear voices downstairs and I hear Bonnie's name being called.

"Seems like your crush just got back." I say sighing.

"My crush..? Bonnie?" He asked before almost running to the door and my heart broke as I walk out just glancing at them hugging. I guess it's time for me to leave. I sigh one last time before going out the window again and go deep in the woods wanting to forget all about my troubles. I sat at the very top enjoying the view from there as I watch the sunset.

My phone has not for the life of me stopped buzzing so I just mute it and continue to watch the amazing view as it distracts me from Jeremy. Once the sun was down I took my phone and made my way back home just to see Damon drinking.

"There you are." He says.

"Here I am." I say with a sigh and look at my phone confused.

"Who the hell has been calling me all this time?" I say not knowing who the number belonged to.. except Jeremy's who's called me at least 10 times after I left.

"Probably Elena." I raise a brow at him.

"One, how did she get my number 2 why the hell would she be calling me?" I ask crossing my hands.

"I.. may have killed Alaric and tried to kill Caroline's dad." He says making me chuckle smirking at him.

"And why was she calling me?" I ask taking a seat on the sofa.

"Probably hoping you'd help her controlling me." He says and I laugh.

"Control you? Does she think I'm her or something? I would've probably helped you after today." I say and he takes a seat next to me.

"Uh oh. What happened?" He asked and I just sigh.

"Nothing really, just that witch girl is back in town which means Jeremy won't be with me anymore." I say taking the drink out of his hand.

"Ouch.. did he say that?" He asked.

"No, of course not. He's too sweet to do that, but the way his eyes lid up when I told him she was back and the way he hugged her I knew I wasn't needed anymore so I just left the same way I came." I say just as my phone buzzed again making me groan and answer without looking.

"What?" I answer angrily.

"Are you mad at me?" He asked making me sigh and get up away from Damon.

"You haven't been answering your phone when I tried calling and when I walked back upstairs you weren't there." He says and I roll my eyes.

"Look Jeremy, what we had was only for the summer, I was your distraction but now witchy witch is back. Soon you'll tell her how you feel and the two of you will be together.. I don't want you to tell me that you don't need me anymore Jeremy.. so I just.. left." I say with a sigh running my hands through my hair taking a seat on my bay window.

"What are you talking about?" Jeremy asked and I hear shuffling on the other side.

"Jeremy you like Bonnie, she likes you back, you should ask her out and there you go instant couple. I'm not going to stay long enough for you to tell me that we need to stop what we have because of her." I say.

"But I don't want her Raina! God why do you think I've been calling you so much and telling you to come over, why do you think I don't see my dead girlfriends when I'm with you?! I want you Raina, not Bonnie, yes she's a good friend and yes I did have a crush on her but that was before I met you. You make me happy Raina, you make me forget of all the bad things that have happened in my life, I enjoy talking to you because you listen to me and understand me without thinking I'm wrong for feeling that way I do.. Raina I love you and you alone." I hear him say making me close my eyes leaning back on the wall.

"I'm not good for you Jeremy.. I can't give you a family, I can't give you the life you deserve." I say.

"Come over.. I'm not going to talk to you about this over the phone." He says and ends the call before I could say anything making me groan and sigh.

"Go." I hear Damon as he leans on the doorway making me groan again.

"You were listening." I say with a sigh.

"Yes, now I'm telling you to go.. I know I would." He says making me sigh but nod and walked to him giving him a hug before leaving.
