"So how long it's been eight, nine days" Damon asked as Violet walked in through the door.

"Yeah, right or nine days" Stefan said as Violet made her way to them seeing they were tossing the football around. "I don't know I lost count" Stefan said.

"Talking about Elena" Violet asked, and Stefan nodded. "If we lost count of the consecutive days in which Elena Gilbert has not killed anyone, I say that's progress brother" Damon said.

"So, what are we gonna do just uh throw the football around for another 150 years til Elena gets her humanity back" Stefan asked.

"Because I'm cool with that" Stefan said. "If that long" Violet said.

"She doesn't want the cure she's gonna start killing people if she knows we're still trying to get it for her" Damon said.

"Alright we could always uh make her want it" Stefan said. "Cause that worked out so well the last time" Violet said, and Stefan rolled his eyes at her.

"Yeah, how are you gonna make an emotionless vampire want anything" Damon asked. "Get her to flip her humanity switch" Stefan said.

"Good luck with that" Violet said. "So, what are we gonna do pull a Lexi bombard her with emotions til one of them sticks" Damon asked.

"I'm game" Violet said. "Yeah, and if that doesn't work then we go to plan B lock her up, keep her sidelined until you and I figure out a plan c" Stefan said.

"And what happens when she gets slammed with every emotion she's repressed since Jeremy died" Damon asked.

"Well then you my friend will be right by her side ready to help her through it" Stefan said.

"Right cause you don't want to keep reliving history and when this is all over, you're just gonna get out of her life" Damon said. "Bingo" Stefan said.

"Alright how do you want to do this" Damon asked. "Not that anyone's asked me, but FYI plan A never works" Violet said.

"Caroline why are you calling me" Violet asked as soon as she answered the phone. "We're not exactly friends" Violet said.

"Do you think Klaus will help me with a dress" Caroline asked. "Elena stole mine" Caroline said.

"Why are you asking me" Violet asked. "Cause he has a thing for you I mean if I didn't mention you when he bit me, I be dead" Caroline said.

"Please Vi please" Caroline said and Violet sighed.

"Don't worry about asking from Klaus you can borrow one of mine I'm sure you'll look great" Violet said.

"Thank you" Caroline said. "Come quick I hate waiting" Violet said and hung up.

"Where's the disco ball" Damon asked. "Caroline's been working on this for a while it's a uh photo yearbook of the senior class" Stefan said.

"Great cause it's not like we don't get enough of these losers" Violet said and Damon and Stefan looked at her.

"Don't give me that look I can only tolerate so much" Violet said. "Isn't that photo from first day of freshmen year" Stefan asked and Elena looked at it.

"My mom took that when she dropped us off at school" Elena said then a picture of her and Jeremy appeared.

"I'm gonna get a seizure if I keep staring at these screens" Elena said and walked off.

"Struck out" Violet asked Damon. "Yep" Damon said.

"Dad don't listen to what she's saying she does love you I promise she does" Violet said and Damon smiled at Violet.

"Well in the meantime can I have a dance with my little girl" Damon asked.

"Always" Violet said, and Damon smiled. Damon took her hand and led her to the dance floor. The father and daughter duo soon then started dancing.

"Where's your date" Violet asked as Matt approached her. "I'm not sure" Matt said, and Violet nodded.

"Why do you keep doing this" Violet asked. "Doing what" Matt said. "Making sure I'm okay" Violet told him. "You didn't care much for me when Jeremy was alive but now" Violet said.

"Look I know we haven't been the best of friends" Matt said. "Yeah, sure that's a nice way of putting it" Violet said.

"But I know what it's like to lose someone you love, and I believe Jeremy would have wanted someone to look after you" Matt said. "I have my dad but thanks" Violet said.

"It may sound rude but hey I am my dad's kid, but I do mean it" Violet added and Matt nodded.

"It's like Jeremy was there I could talk to him feel him I even tried to get Jeremy inside to Vi, but he wouldn't guess now I know why" Bonnie said. "It wasn't Jeremy" Violet said and Bonnie nodded.

"Bonnie that's what Silas does you can't let him get to you again" Stefan said.

"Yeah, because you're all crazy and brainwashed just not a good look" Damon said.

"Hey okay the ballots have been tailed which means it's time to announce this year's prom king and queen" April said. "Look one of us should take her home" Stefan said.

"Where Silas can get to her even more" Violet said. "She's safer here in public around all these people there's no way Silas can make everyone see the same thing all at once" Damon said.

"Okay in the meantime how do we look out for a guy that can appear as anyone" Matt asked.

"Alright your prom king and queen are" April said and looked. "Matt Donovan and Bonnie Bennett" April said.

"Congratulations Bonnie" Violet said and smiled at her. "Thanks Vi" Bonnie said. "Wait did you vote for me" Bonnie asked and Violet winked at her.

Matt and Bonnie went up on stage and got their crowns.

Violet was smiling at Bonnie seeing how happy she was when Matt got down and went to Violet.

"She looks happy" Violet said and Matt looked. "Yeah, she does" Matt said and Rebekah made her way to Violet and Matt.

"You need to get your queen off the stage" Rebekah told Matt. "I can't really do that right now" Matt said. "You didn't hear it from me but Elena's up to something" Rebekah said and left.

Suddenly Matt and Violet saw wind blowing. "Come on loser" Violet said and Matt followed Violet.

"Bonnie" Matt said once he and Violet reached Bonnie and Elena. "Something's happening to me" Bonnie said. "Okay just relax" Matt said. "No, I gotta get out of here" Bonnie said and left.

"I better find my dad and Stefan tell them what Elena is up to" Violet said and left.

Violet saw Elena feeding from Bonnie and quickly threw her off with her magic.

Bonnie turned around and faced Elena before using her powers on Elena. "Dad, Stefan" Violet said using her vamp speed to catch up to Bonnie.

"Bonnie stop" Stefan said once he and Damon approached Bonnie and Elena. "Bonnie it's Elena stop emotions or not it's still Elena" Violet said.

"Damon help me" Elena said. "Bonnie, you're killing her" Stefan said. "I know what I'm doing" Bonnie said and Violet sighed and grabbed Bonnie speeding her away from Elena.

"Why'd you do that" Bonnie asked. "Cause this isn't you Bonnie it's Elena your best friend you don't want to kill get no matter what she's done I know you don't it's the magic Bonnie this isn't you okay your better than this" Violet said.

"You used your magic to save me even though you swore off magic" Bonnie said.

"Someone had to save you and besides us witches have to look out for each other" Violet said and Bonnie smiled while Violet smiled back.
