"Jeremy" Elena said as soon as she saw him and went to him holding him.

"Oh, no, no, no, oh no oh god no oh god" Elena said and then she saw Jeremy's ring before noticing Violet on her knees barely speaking.

"Is fine, it's fine, Violet he's gonna be okay he is I promise he's gonna be okay the ring will bring him back" Elena said trying to reassure Violet and herself but Violet knew that Jeremy was dead, and he wasn't coming back.

"It's okay, it's okay" Elena said as Stefan walked in the room seeing Jeremy was dead.

He looked at Violet who he noticed was barely speaking before helping her up. "Vi are you okay what is it where's Bonnie" Stefan asked and then he realized Jeremy was dead.

"You're gonna be okay, you're gonna be okay Jeremy you're gonna be fine" Elena said.

"How'd this, happen" Damon asked. "It was Katherine she must have been following us this whole time" Stefan said.

"What about the cure or Silas" Damon asked. "If there was anything in there at all it's all gone" Stefan said. "Where's Bonnie" Damon asked.

"I have no idea she went looking for Jeremy last night she never came back" Stefan said.

"Damon, Elena is in there with Violet waiting for the Gilbert ring to bring Jeremy back to life" Stefan said. "Okay fine we'll wait with them" Damon said.

"Damon listen to me Jeremy was one of the five a hunter" Stefan said.

"He's supernatural the ring won't work anymore she won't survive this" Damon said. "Does Vi know" Damon asked and Stefan nodded. "Yeah, she does but she's barely speaking" Stefan said.

"Of course, she's not her boyfriend just died" Damon told Stefan. "I'll find Bonnie you get Elena and Vi off this island" Damon said.

Elena opened the door walking inside as Caroline noticed. "Hey, your home" Caroline said and stood up.

"I was trying to clean the burn mark where Kol" Caroline said but stopped when she saw Stefan carrying Jeremy and Violet right beside him.

"I couldn't get the spot out" Caroline said. "Come on let's get him upstairs" Elena said going upstairs with Stefan while Violet stayed with Caroline.

"How long has she been like that" Caroline asked. "Too long" Violet said. "Ever since we found his body she has t said anything except that she's waiting for him to wake up" Stefan said.

"But he's not going to wake up" Caroline said. "She knows that right" Caroline asked.

"Hey blondie she still has super hearing careful what you say" Violet said and Stefan turned the water on.

"Look deep down I think she has to but we're talking about Elena here she feels grief more powerfully than anyone else I think her denial is the one thing protecting her from letting it all in" Stefan said.

"Can't you do something" Caroline asked Violet. "Maybe bring him back" Caroline said.

"He's too far gone and even if I could there's too many consequences remember when Bonnie brought him back" Violet said.

"But she can't stay like that forever" Caroline said.

"I know but I don't wanna be the one to break her out of it not until we know that Bonnie is safe not until we get Damon over here to you know" Stefan said.

"Use the sire bond to convince her that everything is okay" Caroline said.

"And hope everything will be okay" Violet said. "I'm not in denial" Elena said making her appearance known. Stefan turned off the water once he saw her.

"I know that he was supernatural, but did you see his tattoo is gone the tattoo had the spell that opened Silas's chamber maybe it being gone means that he's fulfilled his supernatural destiny and maybe he's back to normal uh it's possible right" Elena said. "Elena" Caroline said.

"It's possible Caroline there's a chance it may be minuscule, but it's hope and I'm gonna hold on to that hope with everything that I've got because there's no way that" Elena said but stopped.

"There's absolutely no way that my brother is dead I'm not in denial" Elena said and left the room.

"Dad wherever you are you need to hurry" Violet said to herself.

"Hey, I know that I'm not supposed to be calling but something happened, and I need to talk to you Tyler so please call me" Caroline said and hung up the phone while Stefan and Violet made it outside to her and Stefan gave her a coffee.

"Do you know where he is" Stefan asked. "As far away from Klaus as he can get Klaus said he wouldn't stop until he found him" Caroline said.

"Well Katherine has been running from Klaus for 500 years it's not easy but it's possible" Stefan said. "Maybe that's why she stole the cure she wants to bargain for her freedom" Violet said.

"I just can't believe after all that the cure is just gone" Caroline said.

"Yeah, I mean talk about denial in my head I was thinking there was no way Elena was gonna stay a vampire forever" Stefan said.

"But here we are" Violet said. "And now without any family" Stefan said.

"Well, we can't think about that right now we need to make plans, lists, we need a funeral or a cover story or a funeral and a cover story I should go tell my mom I guess she'll know what to do" Caroline said.

"As much as I hate saying this maybe we should get Matt over here as well I mean he and Jeremy were getting pretty close" Violet said.

"You're right I will do that I will call Matt and then I will go tell my mom and then I will make a list or a casserole or I don't know whatever people are supposed to do or make in these situations" Caroline said.

"What's that smell" Caroline asked. "It's his body he's starting to decompose" Stefan said.

"Tell your mom to get Dr Fell over here" Stefan told Caroline. "Maybe she can help but there's a chance Lena won't listen" Violet said.

As Stefan and Dr Fell went to talk to Elena, Violet stayed downstairs as she looked at pictures of Jeremy.

Pushing the tears back knowing she couldn't let them fall. At least not right now not til she knew Elena was okay. Violet heard footsteps and looked to see Matt and sighed.

"Violet what's going on" Matt asked. "Look I know I don't really like you that much but it's Jeremy" Violet said going to him.

"He's dead" Violet said putting Matt in shock. "He's upstairs, see for yourself" Violet said and Matt nodded and left.

Matt saw Violet looking out the window and went to her. Violet looked at him once he approached her. "How's Lena" Violet asked. "Not good" Matt said, and Violet nodded.

"How are you" Matt asked and Violet looked at him. "Why do you care" Violet asked.

"I'm not exactly the nicest person in the world to you" Violet said.

"I know but Jeremy loved you and I know you loved him you don't have to pretend to be okay" Matt said. "No wonder Jeremy cared for you you're a nice guy gross" Violet said and Matt laughed.

"If you repeat this, I will personally kill you heal you then kill you again but uh thanks for checking up on me" Violet said and Matt nodded.

Violet and Stefan went outside to Damon after Caroline told them he wanted to see them before going inside with Bonnie.

"She's out of her mind Stefan, Vi," Damon said. "How so" Violet asked.

"The nutty professor has got her totally brainwashed I mean the whole flight back home all she could talk about was how she's the one that can drop the veil between this side and the other side" Damon said.

"Drop the veil what does that even mean" Stefan asked.

"What it means is the myth about Silas being able to raise the dead is not just one or some it's every supernatural being over there three massacres three hot spots and the witch spell of the century every supernatural being over there is back with a vengeance" Damon said.

"We need to get in there and check on Lena and maybe try to stop Bonnie" Violet said as she went inside with Damon and Stefan following her.

"Hello" Elena said as she answered the phone. "Elena it's April uh Young um uh I was looking for Jeremy his feel phone keeps going straight to voicemail" April said.

"Jeremy can't come to the phone right now he's not" Elena said and stopped.

"I'm sorry he, he's dead" Elena said and hung up. Elena then left the room heading upstairs.

"Dad maybe you should" Violet said and Damon nodded understanding what she meant and went after Elena.

"I'm gonna go home call if you need anything" Violet said and left.

Violet was in her room just sitting in her bed. When she saw a picture of her and Jeremy and got up going to it. She looked at it before throwing it then tossing everything else.

Violet then fell to her knees crying her eyes out. Damon walked in the room and saw Violet crying.

"I was wondering when you were gonna break" Damon said. "He's gone Jeremey's gone" Violet said through tears. "I know" Damon said sighing.

"How's Lena" Violet asked. "She turned off her humanity" Damon said and Violet nodded not even questioning it. Violet looked at her grimoires as she got off the floor and went to them.

"Violet what are you doing" Damon asked as Violet grabbed her grimoires and left with Damon following her.

"Would you tell me what we are doing here" Damon asked Violet getting out of the car with her as they walked to Bonnie's porch.

Violet didn't answer him as she knocked on the door. "Violet" Bonnie said confused as she answered the door. "Here take them" Violet said giving Bonnie the grimoires.

"Vi what are you doing" Bonnie asked. "That's what I'd like to know your answer witch, a heretic a good one it's who you are" Damon said.

"Not anymore" Violet said, and vamp sped off as Damon and Bonnie both shared a look being very worried.
