"You'll really come with" Jeremy asked Violet while he packed up his hunting gear.

"As mad at you as I am or how stupid I think you are for doing this I'm not letting you do this alone" Violet said.

Jeremy smiled at her and kissed her cheek. "Thank you I really didn't want to go without you" Jeremy said. "Are those tattoos really visible" Violet asked.

"Is this an excuse just to see me shirtless" Jeremy asked. "No" Violet said, and Jeremy gave her a look. "Maybe" Violet said.

"Whatever just let me see" Violet said. Jeremy shook his head at her before taking his shirt off.

"Wow look at that" Violet said. "So, this was an excuse to get my shirt off" Jeremy said.

"Shut up" Violet said and Jeremy grinned. "How much time do we got" Violet asked. "We might have some time" Jeremy said. "Why" Jeremy asked, and Violet gave him a look.

"Never mind" Jeremy said and picked up Violet causing her to wrap her legs around his waist.

Jeremy went to lay her on the bed when Violet stopped him. "Wait isn't Elena here" Violet asked.

"Vampire hearing" Violet told Jeremy. "I could use a shower" Jeremy said after a moment causing Violet to smile at him.

Jeremy went to the connecting bathroom and closed the door on Elena's side and locked it before sitting Violet back down.

Jeremy started the water as Violet quickly got undressed causing Jeremy to do the same.

Jeremy grabbed Violet's hand and led her in the shower before closing the shower door along with the curtain behind them. Jeremy kissed Violet causing her to return the kiss while smiling g and things got heated.

"The cure is here really" Violet asked Jeremy. "That's what he said" Jeremy said. "I don't like this something doesn't feel right" Violet said.

"Hey, don't worry we'll be out here soon" Jeremy said. "Still why here out of all places why here" Violet asked.

Jeremy smiled and went to. Let and gave her a quick kiss. "Come on we need to catch up to Bonnie" Jeremy said and grabbed her hand leading her.

"You think this is good enough" Violet asked Bonnie. "Yeah, this should do it" Bonnie said.

"Alright shirt off" Violet told Jeremy. "Another excuse trying to get my shirt off" Jeremy said smiling at Violet before taking his shirt off.

"Oh, relax this isn't sex we had sex before we got here" Violet said. Bonnie shook her head at them smiling before going to Jeremy taking pictures of his tattoos.

"Sorry if there was a less awkward way to do this I would" Bonnie said. "We know you would" Violet said.

"You two are really good together" Bonnie told Violet and Jeremy who smiled.

"These symbols must have been left for the hunters so they could find the cure" Violet said walking closer to Jeremy motioning to the symbols.

"And this must be the story of Quetsiyah and Silas according to Shane Silas asked Quetsiyah for help making a spell for immortality she helped make him immortal only to learn he planned to use the same spell on another woman not her when she found out she freaked" Bonnie said.

"So Quetsiyah killed the other woman" Jeremy asked.

"Yeah, Silas was immortal she couldn't kill him, so she trapped him in a cave and buried him alive instead" Bonnie said. "That's one way to get back at your ex I suppose" Violet said.

"Does it say anything about the hunter's purpose in all this" Jeremy asked.

"I was wondering when you'd ask" Shane said coming over. "Oh, joy professor creepy" Violet said.

"Quetsiiyah created a cure for immortality and then she buried it with Silas hoping that he'd take it and die end up on tbe other side with her for all eternity but he wouldn't give her the satisfaction so many centuries later her descendants created the hunters to find him, cure him, and kill him you know what I'll explain on the hike come on we gotta get going" Shane said leaving. "Can I kill him" Violet asked. "No" Jeremy said.

"Satellite phone lost its signal that's a good sign" Damon said.

Is anyone else a little creeped out" Elena asked. "So then leave out of everyone your presence is the least necessary" Rebekah said. "Please don't start" Stefan said.

"Jeremy has the spell on his body, Bonnie's the witch that unseals the cure, Shane is the human compass, Violet is here for Jeremy you and I have the tombstone which does god knows what and Elena has no point" Rebekah said.

"What about me" Damon asked. "Aside from the fact that you raised an amazing daughter you have a nice behind" Rebekah said and they continued to walk in silence until Shane broke the silence.

"Centuries after Qetsiyah died there were these minors who were excavating a well on the island they suddenly went mad they bled themselves dry no apparent reason so the legend spread that these minors in exchange for a drop of their blood saw visions of their lost loved ones in the well they were digging the word traveled and explorers sought out the well to see if the legend was true" Shane said.

"So, the well was magic" Bonnie asked. "Oh, yeah some people believe the voices of lost souls were just a wind vortex whipping through caves and visions were caused by inhaling the island's poisonous plant life" Shane said.

"What do you believe" Elena asked Shane. "I believe in magic" Shane told her.

"My wife and my son died within months of each other and so I decided to try the well out for myself I offered up my blood and I waited" Shane said.

"I saw my wife I saw her eyes her smile, my blood let me see her again" Shane said after a moment.

"Yeah, I got it don't eat the poisonous flowers" Damon said walking off with the others soon following him.

"Wait stop, stop, stop, stop" Shane said and everyone stopped. "Is everybody paying attention our first lesson in survival" Shane said and pulled onto something and they saw a net.

"Stay together keep your eyes open" Shane said. "This is going to be a long night" Violet said already annoyed with him.

"I'm out of water" Jeremy said as the others walked off. "Here take mine" Elena said giving Jeremy her water. "Magic well seriously" Jeremy said.

"I don't know I mean we've all lost someone the chance to maybe see them again I kinda get it" Elena said.

Violet heard someone behind them and turned around causing Jeremy to do the same.

Violet saw a man with a bow and arrow aiming at Jeremy, so she quickly sped them away.

"Jeremy, Violet" Elena said speeding over to them. The man went to shoot an arrow again when suddenly someone killed him causing the man to fall to his knees.

"What just happened" Elena asked. "That's what I'd like to know" Violet said. "Somebody just saved my life" Jeremy said.

"Well I'm a little upset they took my fun but whoever you are thanks I guess" Violet said.

"What is this place" Stefan asked. "According to island lore a group of college kids came here for spring break a few weeks later they were all found dead completely drained of blood" Shane said.

"Well tragic for them brilliant for us" Rebekah said. "Who sleeps where" Rebekah asked.

"Well, that's lovely there's a mystery man with a hatchet lurking in the woods and we're just gonna camp" Damon said. "We're safer here then we are hiking in the derk" Shane said.

"Come on let's go set up our tent" Violet told Jeremy taking his hand leading him.

Damon saw Violet and went to her. "Hey sweetie, why aren't you with your boyfriend" Damon asked.

Violet shown Damon the blood. "Had to refill my cup I don't always like to do it around Jeremy" Violet said and Damon nodded. "You got a second" Damon asked.

"I always have a second for my dad" Violet said. "What's up" Violet asked Damon.

"You know better than anyone that I love Elena but if there's any part of you that wants this cure it's yours because I love you more and I always will" Damon said.

Violet smiled at Damon and kissed him on the cheek.

"Thanks dad but I couldn't take it I couldn't stand in the way of Elena getting her human life back besides I like who I am" Violet said.

"Okay but if you change your mind, it's yours" Damon said. "Okay I'll keep that in mind" Violet said.

"Hey, I was about to go looking for you" Jeremy said when Violet walked into his tent. "I was talking to my dad" Violet said. "Is everything okay" Jeremy asked.

"Yeah, perfect I promise" Violet said. "You'd tell me if it wasn't" Jeremy asked. "Of course," Violet said.

"I should get to my tent I'll see you when you wake up" Violet said.

"Before you go thanks again for coming" Jeremy said. "I'd do anything for you Jer like I said I wasn't going to let you do this alone I love you and I'd do anything for you" Violet said.

"I love you too" Jeremy said and gave her a quick kiss before Violet left.

"Jeremy" Elena yelled causing Shane to walk out of Jeremy's tent. "Did you find anything" Elena asked Bonnie. "He's not on the trail" Bonnie said.

"We've looked everywhere" Violet added who went with Bonnie on the trail.

"His gear's still here" Shane said. "He's not at the quarry either" Shane said.

"Split up" Damon said. "Uh I'm gonna stay and try a locater spell" Bonnie said. "Okay I'll stay here I'll make sure she's safe" Shane said.

I'll stay here and make sure you're not lying" Damon told Shane. "Elena he's around here we just need to find him" Violet said. "Fine we'll keep searching the island" Elena said.

"If you need me dad, please call me" Violet told Damon who nodded.

Shane left and Damon followed him. Rebekah and Stefan then left while Elena sighed.

"Don't worry she won't hurt you not with me on your side" Violet told Elena and they followed Rebekah and Stefan.

"Jeremy" Elena yelled getting no answer. "Jeremy" Elena yelled again. "Why don't you yell louder maybe we haven't drawn enough attention to ourselves already" Rebekah said.

"I'm sorry and how are you helping" Elena asked Rebekah.

"I'm stronger than you and faster than you and I'm quite certain I can charm the islanders a lot easier than you" Rebekah said.

"Not disagreeing on the easy part" Elena said. "Alright we get it you two hate each other can we just keep going please" Stefan asked.

"Also, Elena, I love you you're my best friend on the planet, but Rebekah is stronger and faster even I know that" Violet said. "Now can you both zip it" Violet asked.

"I tried to be her friend but somehow I ended up with a dagger in my back because I'm the evil one" Rebekah said.

"Technically you didn't achieve evil status until you killed me" Elena said.

"Lena" Violet tried to warn Elena, but she already tripped the wire and when Violet was about to help Rebekah vamp sped to Elena and caught the weapon.

"Nice catch" Stefan said. "Impressive" Violet said. "Thank you" Rebekah said. "No actually thank you this thing could've killed me" Elena said.

"I don't care what happens to you either way but if you're gonna die it might as well be epic" Rebekah said. "I'm gonna go back and check on Bonnie and see if she found anything" Elena said.

"I'll go with" Violet told Elena. "Be careful" Elena told Rebekah and Stefan and left with Violet.

Elena saw Damon about to kill Shane and vampires sped him off Shane while Violet stayed in the corner.

"Dang can't believe I almost missed the show" Violet said.

"What is wrong with you" Elena asked Damon. Instead of saying anything Damon just left the room.

"Okay now you got my attention what did you say to my dad" Violet asked Shane.

"Your dad's a maniac Violet" Shane said, and Elena went to him and freed him.

"Stop messing with my friends" Elena said. "I'll give you and dad a moment if you need me yell, I rather not be in your lovers quarrel" Violet said and left while Elena went after Damon.

Violet was just looking at the night sky when she saw Elena, Rebekah, and Stefan came back and went to them. "Where is everyone" Elena asked.

"What are you talking about" Stefan asked. "Well Bonnie is not here, and Shane's stuff is all gone" Elena said.

"Oh my god" Rebekah said and vamp sped for a moment before vamp speeding back with the bag. "The tombstone's gone" Rebekah said.

Elena walked into her tent seeing Rebekah looking through her bag. "What are you doing in my tent" Elena asked and Rebekah put her hand around her throat.

"Where's the tombstone what have you done with it" Rebekah asked. "What are you talking about" Elena asked.

"Like it's not bloody obvious all you people ever do is betray me and here you go again" Rebekah said and Stefan and Violet walked into the tent.

"Let her go she didn't take it" Stefan said. "Rebekah, I promise you she didn't just calmly let her go" Violet said seeing Rebekah wasn't letting go.

Rebekah looked at Violet for a moment before letting go.

"Was any of this real was it just a ploy to distract me while Shane ran off with the tombstone" Rebekah asked.

"You think I would do that you think I would let some psychopath, run off with the cure" Stefan asked.

"Every single moment of my last 146 years has been ruled by the pain of being a vampire and this cure ends that it ends the guilt, and it ends the suffering" Stefan said.

"And you really think I would jeopardize that" Stefan asked.

"No, I wouldn't I nearly killed my niece standing in front of your eyes cause of what I am and if she wanted the cure, I would gladly give it to her, but I wouldn't lie to you about it" Stefan said.

"Fine you didn't take it but that doesn't mean I trust her" Rebekah said motioning to Elena.

Elena grabbed the white oak stake she had hidden. "Has that been here the whole time" Violet asked confused.

"I didn't take it but here" Elena said to Rebekah. "Consider this a peace offering" Elena said.

"Don't you get it Elena there is no peace we're all screwed" Rebekah said.

"Exactly Rebekah we're screwed Bonnie's gone Shane's got the tombstone Jeremy's missing who knows if Damon's coming back so us four right here this is all we've got so we're either in this together or it's over for all of us" Elena said.

Elena offered the white oak stake to Rebekah, and she took it.
