Humanity and Dads 

(Episode 1-22)

Violet was keying in the middle of the road bored out of her mind when finally, a car shown up as a woman parked and made her way to Violet. "Are you okay" she asked.

"Ugh finally" Violet said as she sat up. "You know when my dad done this, I never realized his victims were so slow oh wait hang on I'm not in a mood to chasing you" Violet said as she got up.

Scared the woman started to run but Violet sped behind her. "Don't run don't scream" Violet compelled her.

"Have you ever thought about becoming a vampire I highly suggest if I mean if you don't want to feel anything you can just turn it off just like that" Violet said as she snapped her fingers.

"Why don't you want to feel anything" the woman asked. "Because my dad died" Violet said.

"I'm so" the woman started to say but Violet interrupted her.

"Don't say you're sorry for my loss it will just make me drain you of your blood faster" Violet said. "Why would you drain me of my blood" the woman asked.

"Ugh I knew I should've just gone for the kill when I saw you haven't you been listening, I'm a vampire well actually technically a heretic oh well story time's over" Violet said and went closer to the woman.

"I'm starving" Violet said and bit her neck with her fangs draining her of her blood.

Stefan walked into Violet's room and threw down a paper. "Oh, look at that a paper thrilling" Violet said as she sipped from her blood bag.

"That's the fifth one this week new record last week it was 3" Stefan said. "Yeah, well gotta eat" Violet said. "Violet" Stefan started to say when Violet interrupted.

"You should be grateful I didn't kill one of your girlfriends this past week" Violet said.

"We moved here to get a fresh start which means no killing please this isn't you where's my niece" Stefan said.

"It is me the new me get used to it" Violet said. "No, I won't because this isn't you at least not humanity Violet who I miss" Stefan said.

"And why do you care if I have my humanity or not" Violet asked.

"Violet you are my niece, and it is my job to take care of you and deep down you know that your dad wouldn't have wanted this" Stefan said.

"Well lucky for you he's dead and I don't care what you think you should know that considering I killed at least I don't know 10, 15 of your past girlfriends" Violet said.

"And half of them was your fault trying to get my humanity back though you knew you couldn't but you still tried I admire that about you just a bit though but I guess you did learn your lesson when you finally realized this is me so if you don't mind I'm going to kill something and I wouldn't advise stopping me uncle Stef not unless you want another dead girlfriend on your couch" Violet said and left.

"Hey Dean, I think a zero might've fallen off my paycheck" Stefan said. "Oh yeah I had to dock you 200 bucks" Dean said. "For what" Stefan asked.

"Dan Zimmer said you put a ding on the hood of his Shelby" Dean said.

"Dan's wife put a ding on the hood of his Shelby" Stefan said. "That's funny sounds like you're calling my best customer a liar" Dean said.

"You're ripping me off Dean you do remember I have a niece to take care of right" Stefan said.

"What you gonna do about it, kid huh you gonna quit run off to wherever you and your little niece came from" Dean said.

"That's what I thought" Dean said as Stefan put his check away and Violet walked in. "I'm here right on time too not that I care though" Violet said.

Just as Stefan was about to say something his phone rang. He then quickly answered it.

"Hello" Stefan said. "Hey just checking in to see if your contact panned out yet and also to check in on Violet" Alaric said.

"Still working on it" Stefan said as Ivy walked in. "And Violet's well" Stefan said as Alaric interrupted. "No need it think I got it" Alaric said.

"Anyways good on the contact keep me posted let me know how it goes" Alaric said and Stefan hung up.

"Why isn't Jeremy answering his phone" Elena asked Matt over the phone.

"I don't know he's probably doing homework or something" Matt said.

"Doing homework put me on speaker please" Elena said and Matt did as he made his way to Jeremy.

"Jeremy, I know you can hear me get your butt off that couch and do something productive" Elena said. "Or what you're gonna come here and make me" Jeremy asked.

"Or I'll have the sheriff arrest you and drag you to the town border where I will kick your butt myself Matt a little help, please" Elena said.

"Yeah, I'll deal with him" Matt said. "Thank you" Elena said and hung up.

"So, this is it huh video games mopping over Violet drunk by noon every day look it sucks that Violet turned off her humanity Jer, I get it, but you need to start loving your life again" Matt said.

"How by joining the community protection squad what exactly are you protecting us from bike theft litter magic doesn't work here the town's safe" Jeremy said.

"For now, but Caroline's working on a way to reverse all that so it's only a matter of time before we're dealing with all the problems that come along with vampires again, you're a hunter you have skills use them" Matt said.

"No more magic means I'm not a hunter anymore" Jeremy does as he opened a can.

"Yeah, you're right Jer you're not much of anything anymore I'm kinda glad Vi isn't here to see this she'd be so disappointed" Matt said and left.

"Well, this isn't a sight I never thought I see" Violet heard a familiar voice say as she dropped the body she drained of blood from on the ground and turned around.

"Klaus Mikaelson" Violet said as she made his way to him. "You came to check on me did Stefan call" she asked.

"No, he didn't call but I heard what you been up to and since your dad or Jeremy isn't here to get through to you maybe I can" Klaus said as he made his way to Violet.

"Well how about I save you the trouble and tell you it won't work my humanity is off so leave" Violet said.

"Look I get it you lost the most important person in the world to you, and you don't want to feel anything hit you have to feel it to get through it" Klaus said.

"Or I could do this" Violet said and used her magic on Klaus choking him.

"Don't bother trying to bring my humanity back or the next blood I shed will be on yours and it won't be just one it'll be thousands though that shouldn't be new to you should it this is me now the sooner everyone accepts that the better and by the way Kol was much better in bed than you" Violet said and snapped his neck.

"You're back" Violet said as she saw Stefan walked in.

"Brought you some food if you're not full, from draining people all day" Stefan said then his phone rang. He ignored the call as he opened a beer bottle.

He drank it as he looked at the two missed calls from Elena. His phone rang again as Elena was calling once again.

"Hello" Stefan said as he answered the phone giving in. "Stefan is that you" Elena asked.

"I know it's been a really long time since we talked but" Elena said and Stefan interrupted. "Elena hey what's going on" Stefan said.

"I need you to tell me that you found something a witch a guy who knows a witch who knows something a way to bring Violet's humanity back so she could do it anything I need you to give me hope and tell me that you're gonna find Damon and bring him back" Elena said.

"Not yet" Stefan said. "But how do you do it how do you wake up in the morning how do you go about your day without falling apart tell me what you're doing to get through this because I'm clearly doing it wrong" Elena said.

"There's no right or wrong way Elena" Stefan said.

"No there's only forever that's why I need you to give me hope because I don't think I can live forever without him" Elena said.

"I can't I gave up I'm just grateful I still have Violet she's the only thing left of Damon I have adopted and all even with her humanity off" Stefan said as he looked at Violet.

"You just said that you were looking for him" Elena said.

"I did and then u realized it was pointless and that I needed to move on with my life and raise Violet the best I can, so I stopped" Stefan said.

"What do you mean you stopped" Elena asked. "I mean I said goodbye Elena I moved on Damon is gone it's time for you to say goodbye too" Stefan said and hung up.

After making breakfast Damon gave Bonnie a plate before sitting down himself.

"Every day I tell you I hate that" Bonnie said as she saw the vamp fangs on the pancakes.

"And every day I do it anyway bon appetite just wish Violet was here she loved it" Damon said and Bonnie gave him the paper.

Damon looked at the paper as he ate while Bonnie ate her food.
