Violet was with Jeremy heading into the school. "So, you're really okay after Vicki" Violet asked. "Yeah, I am I don't know what it is, but I feel fine" Jeremy said and Violet nodded.

"Are you okay you seem off" Jeremy asked. "Uh my uncle's best friend died, and she and I were close" Violet said.

"Oh, I'm so sorry Vi" Jeremy said. "It's fine, things happen I guess" Violet said. "How did she die" Jeremy asked and Violet got a flashback of Damon killing her.

"She was just at the wrong place at the wrong time" Violet said.

"Is there anything I can do" Jeremy asked. "Hate to see my best friend hurt" Jeremy said. "Just what you're doing now being here for me" Violet said and Jeremy smiled and pulled in for a side hug.

Violet walked into class and sat behind Elena and Elena smiled at Violet. They saw a new teacher walk in.

"Good morning, everyone" he said going to the chalkboard. "Alrighty let's see" the teacher said before writing his name on the chalkboard and faced everyone.

"Alaric Saltzman it's a mouthful I know doesn't exactly roll off the tongue Saltzman is of German origins my family emigrated here in 1755 to Texas I however was born and raised in Boston now the name Alaric belongs to a very dead great grandfather I'll never be able to thank enough you'll probably wanna pronounce it Alaric but it's Alaric okay so you can call me Rick I'm your new history teacher" Alaric said.

Violet saw Elena and Bonnie and went to them. "Hey, you guys' mind if I sit" Violet asked.

"Yeah uh" Bonnie said. "Oh no Bonnie it's cool she's a witch too" Elena said. "Except I have to siphon magic to be able to use my powers" Violet said.

"In that case, please join us" Bonnie said and Violet sat next to Elena. "Have you seen your brother I can't seem to find him" Violet asked Elena.

"No, he's probably with his friends or something" Elena said and Violet nodded.

"Bonnie was just telling about this insane dream she had of her, and her ancestor Emily" Elena said. "Sounds more interesting than my dreams anyways please continue" Violet said.

"And then I ended up at the remains of the old Fell's church before I woke up back in the woods" Bonnie said.

"And you always see your ancestor Emily" Elena asked and Bonnie nodded.

"Huh" Elena said. "Interesting" Violet said. "Do you believe in ghosts" Bonnie asked. "I believe in a lot of things" Violet said. "Two weeks ago, I'd say no but now" Elena said.

"I think I'm being haunted" Bonnie said. "I don't get it why Emily" Elena asked. "Grams said she was a powerful witch back in the civil war days and that this medallion was hers a witch's talisman" Bonnie said.

"And it all started when you got the necklace" Elena said. "I think she's using it to communicate with me" Bonnie said.

"Okay what does Grams say about it" Elena asked. "I can't call her she's gonna tell me to embrace it" Bonnie said.

"Maybe you should, just to get more answers" Violet said. "I don't want to embrace it i want it to stop" Bonnie said.

Violet was at the grill when she saw Jeremy and Jenna and went to them. "Jeremy, Jenna hey" Violet said and went to them. "Vi hey" Jeremy said.

"Violet nice to see you again" Jenna said. "What are you doing here" Jeremy asked. "Oh just picking up some food" Violet said.

"Jeremy was just telling me that the new English teacher is giving him a fresh start" Jenna said.

"That's great" Violet said and Jeremy smiled at her. "Well, I should get going but talk to you later" Violet said and Jeremy nodded. Violet left not realizing Jeremy was watching her leave.

Violet was walking in the woods heading home when she saw Damon and went to him. "Dad" Violet said, and Damon looked at her. "Hey sweetie come and sit" Damon said and Violet sat next to him.

"Dad, are you okay" Violet asked. "I'll manage" Damon said.

"Dad" Violet said worried. "Don't worry about me sweetie as long as I have you, I'll manage I'm just a little upset right now, but I'll be okay" Damon said. "Promise" Violet asked. "Promise" Damon said.

"Dad, you know I love you right and that I would do anything to make you happy" Violet said.

"I know that I do but right now I just want my daughter by my side" Damon said. "Okay" Violet said and laid her head on his shoulder.
