Violet was on her way to see Jeremy when she saw Damon at her door. "You going somewhere" Damon asked.

"To see Jeremy and Elena" Violet said. "Hey before you go, I wanted to tell you something" Damon said.

"Okay what is it" Violet asked. "I just want you to know I may not be the world's best dad, but I do love you more than you know" Damon said. "I love you too dad" Violet said and Damon smiled.

"I'll never get tired of hearing you call me that" Damon said. "What else would I call you" Violet asked.

"You're my dad you will always be my dad" Violet said. "I know now go see your friends okay we'll catch up later" Damon said. "Okay bye dad" Violet said leaving.

"Bye my little girl" Damon said with tears in his eyes grateful that Violet left before she saw.

Violet was with Jeremy and Elena going to see a movie. "You brought me to see a girl movie" Jeremy said. "We had to get out of the house Jer" Elena said. "She's right you can't stay in all day" Violet said.

"This is our three-hour distraction from reality" Elena said. "Is that what we're doing pretending like our lives aren't screwed" Jeremy asked.

"We need to do this okay breathe, eat, sleep, wake up, and do it all over again until one day it's just not as hard anymore" Elena said to Jeremy and sat down with Violet and Jeremy.

Hey, there you guys are" Caroline said coming over. "Who's hungry" Caroline asked. "Are we really doing this" Jeremy asked.

"Yes, we are really doing this we are going to take a page from Scarlett, we made it through the war I know you guys went through some stuff and my mom knows I am a vampire so basically it's like Atlanta has burned and yet in spite of everything we persevere" Caroline said.

"Alright what are we eating" Jeremy asked. "Something good" Caroline said. "Well let's dig in" Violet said.

"Hey" Stefan said coming over. "Hey" Elena said. "Uncle Stef what are you doing here" Violet asked.

"Look who couldn't resist an epic romance" Elena said. "Will you and Violet come take a walk with me" Stefan asked. Elena and Violet got up and took a walk with him.

"You're breaking the rules you know movie night's supposed to be a distraction tomorrow we can return to our regularly scheduled drama" Elena said.

"I know I wish this could wait but it can't" Stefan said. "Uncle Stef what is it" Violet asked and Stefan looked at his niece wishing he didn't have to tell her but knew he had to.

"Violet it's your dad, Tyler bit him" Stefan said. "What" Violet said worried. "How" Violet asked.

"The other night when Damon was helping Tyler, Tyler was starting to transform, and Damon was bitten" Stefan said.

"Is he gonna" Elena asked. "Yep" Stefan said. "And he came to the house this morning he tried to apologize I practically slammed the door in his face" Elena said.

"He told me not to tell you or Violet , but I figured if you wanted to talk to him, I wouldn't wait" Stefan said. "Uncle Stef" Violet said.

"It's not over there might be a cure but I have to find Klaus to get it" Stefan said.

"He's gonna kill you" Elena said to Stefan. "No, he had a chance to kill me, but he didn't whatever Damon's done whatever has led him here I'm the one that made him become a vampire in the first place so if there's a chance for a cure, I owe it to him to find it" Stefan said and Elena hugged him.

"Go talk to him just tell him that there's still hope" Stefan said. "I promise you I will save your dad" Stefan told Violet.

Jeremy took Violet to his house and they went up to his room. Violet was thinking things through when Jeremy noticed she was quiet.

Jeremy quickly sat next to her. "Hey Vi you okay" Jeremy asked. "Yeah I'm fine" Violet said.

"Vi" Jeremy said. "My dad was bitten" Violet said. "What" Jeremy said. "Uncle Stef found out about a cure but he had to talk to Klaus to get it" Violet told Jeremy.

"Vi" Jeremy said. "Listen I know how these things work nothing ever comes for free with vampires and if Stefan finds the cure and he has to pay the price I'm going with him" Violet said.

"What Violet no" Jeremy said. "Jeremy, I have to okay he's my dad I'll sacrifice everything for him he was always there for me when I needed him, I can't just let him die and I can't let Stefan suffer the consequences alone no matter what he's done to me he's still my family and I love him I'm not letting him do this alone" Violet said.

"Vi please" Jeremy said. "I have to do this" Violet said. "Why are you telling me this" Jeremy asked.

"Because we still have a little time" Violet said. "Time for what" Jeremy asked.

"For a goodbye" Violet said and kissed Jeremy. Jeremy hesitated at first but kissed her back knowing this might be the last time he'll ever see her again. Violet moved to sit on his lap and took off her shirt.

Jeremy took off his shirt before moving to her neck. Jeremy laid Violet down on the bed and resumed back to kissing her on the lips where things got heated.

Violet got up off the bed and put her clothes back on. Violet looked at Jeremy and sighed getting on top of him.

"Will I ever see you again" Jeremy asked. "I don't know" Violet told him. "Please Vi you can't go please just stay with me okay please don't leave" Jeremy said.

"Jer you know I can't" Violet said as tears welled up in her eyes. "Vi" Jeremy said and Violet kissed him slowly before pulling away. Jeremy slowly closed his eyes and turned his head.

"I'm sorry please forgive me" Violet said knowing if she didn't do the spell Jeremy would follow her.

Violet slowly got off of Jeremy put her shoes back on and looked at Jeremy one last time before leaving.

Violet walked into Alaric's room after doing a locater spell on Stefan finding out where he was.

Since she wasn't blood related, she had to use an object of Stefan's. Violet saw Stefan pinned by Katherine. "Violet" Stefan said seeing her. "What are you doing here" Stefan asked.

"Saving my dad" Violet said. "What no Violet you don't have to be here I told you I'd save him" Stefan said.

"And I can't let you do this alone he's my dad Stefan I have to help" Violet said. "Violet"' Stefan said when Katherine heard Klaus come in. "Klaus you're back" Katherine said and Klaus came in with Elijah.

Katherine had let go of Stefan as she, Stefan, and Violet faced them. "Look who decided to come for a visit" Katherine said.

"You just keep popping up don't you" Klaus said and then saw Violet.

"And then there's this beauty" Klaus said. "Shut up before I boil your brain, I'm only here for one reason and one reason only and that doesn't include you, for my dad" Violet said.

"Well, whatever it is he's gonna have to wait a tick you see I have a, obligation to my brother that requires my immediate attention" Klaus said. 

"You understand how important family is or you wouldn't be here my brother gave me his word that he would reunite me with my own" Elijah said.

"And so, I shall" Klaus said and Elijah turned around when Klaus daggered him. "Shh" Klaus said when Elijah went limb dropping to the floor.

"Well that's what he gets for stabbing us in the back if only I could kill you" Violet told Klaus.

Klaus fake smiled before speeding Stefan to a wall. "Now what am I gonna do with you" Klaus asked.

Klaus had staked Stefan in the stomach, and he groaned in pain. "Stop let him go" Violet said going to go over when Katherine held her back knowing how much Stefan cared about his niece.

"You feel that it's scraping against your heart the slightest little movement and your dead" Klaus said and pulled the stake out. "He's just trying to help his brother" Katherine said.

"Please just hear us out" Violet said. "The witches said you had a cure make me a deal just give me the cure and I'll do whatever you want" Stefan said before he was staked again, and Klaus pulled it out before he walked away.

"Trouble is I don't know if you'd be any good to me the way you are now you are just shy of useless" Klaus said.

"I'll go with just save my dad" Violet said after Katherine let her go.

"I heard about this one vampire crazy bloke always on and off the wagon for decades when he was off, he was magnificent 1917 he went into Monterey wiped out an entire migrant village a true ripper" Klaus said. "Sound familiar" Klaus asked.

"I haven't been that way in a very long time" Stefan said.

"Well, that's the vampire I can make a deal with that is the kind of talent that I can use when I leave this town at least till I come back for Olivia, Katerina come here" Klaus said and Katherine went to him, and he had bit her hand before letting go of her hand. "No, no, no" Katherine said. 

Klaus bit his arm and fed Katherine his blood. Her bite mark had healed as Violet, Katherine, and Stefan saw.

"You want your cure there it is" Klaus said. Your blood is the cure" Stefan said. "Gotta love Mother Nature" Klaus said.

"Now let's talk, you, the lovely Violet, and I" Klaus said leading them.

"Great you kill Jenna and my best friend and you flirt with me" Violet said. "What's next" Violet asked.

Klaus had poured his blood in a vile. "There it is you want to save your brother your niece's father how about a decade long bender and I have big plans for you and Violet when we leave this town" Klaus said.

"Leave Violet alone she doesn't have to go" Stefan said. "I beg to differ I do enjoy having a beautiful woman for company" Klaus said.

"Would you quit with the flirting ugh i never wished to be a vampire so much right now just so I could snap my neck" Violet said.

"I'm not like that anymore" Stefan said. "Well, that's too bad you would have made a great wingman" Klaus said and began to pour the blood out.

"Wait" Stefan said and Klaus stopped pouring the blood out. "Now that's more like it I want you to join me for a drink" Klaus said tossing him a bag of blood.

Stefan had torn the top off and drank the blood while Violet just looked at him. "Finish it all of it you do everything I say, and I save your brother that's the deal" Klaus said.

Stefan drank the blood again finishing it. Klaus threw another blood bag at him.

"Again" Klaus said, and Stefan tore the top off finishing the blood.

After a while Stefan had finished another bag of blood and there was many bags of blood on the floor. "You're very cooperative" Klaus said.

"He's done as you ask give us the cure save my dad, please" Violet said.

"It's almost as if you're enjoying it" Klaus said going to Stefan dropping another bag of blood.

"No more not until you give me the cure" Stefan said. "Not until we make a deal it's your choice Stefan you can either remain here living your life in Mystic Falls or you can embrace what you truly are leave town with me and Violet and save your brother's life" Klaus said offering him the bag of blood.

"I already know Violet will she'd do anything for her dad, but my question is" Klaus said. "Are you with us" Klaus asked.

Stefan took the blood ripping the top off and finished the bag. "That's the spirit" Klaus said. "Sweetheart" Klaus said to Katherine going to her. 

"Take this over to Damon" Klaus said giving her the vile. "And come right back" Klaus said.

"You want me to leave" Katherine asked. "No" Stefan and Violet said. "Yes, and if I were you" Klaus said and Katherine sped out. "I'd hurry" Klaus said.

"She'll never take it to him; she'll never take it to him" Stefan said.

"We told you we'd do everything you ask and then you do this ugh I can't even stand looking at you I right now you make me sick" Violet told Klaus.

"This is even more pitiful than I thought" Damon said. "There's still hope" Elena said. "I've made a lot of choices that have gotten me here I deserve this I deserve to die" Damon said.

"No, you don't" Elena said lying next to him. "I do Elena it's okay cause if I'd have chosen differently, I wouldn't have met you I'm so sorry I've done so many things to hurt you" Damon said.

"It's okay I forgive you" Elena said. "I know you love Stefan and it will always be Stefan but I love you you should know that" Damon said.

"I do" Elena said. "You should have met me in 1864 you would have liked me" Damon said.

"I like you now just the way you are" Elena said and gave Damon a quick kiss. "Thank you" Damon said.

"You're welcome" Elena said. "Well, it's me you should be thanking" Katherine said making her appearance known and Elena moved off the bed.

"I mean I'm the one who brought the cure" Katherine said.

"I thought you were dead" Elena said. "I was" Katherine said and went to Damon. "You got free" Damon said. "Yep finally" Katherine said and fed Damon the cure.

"And you still came here" Damon asked. "I owed you one" Katherine said and got up. "Where's Stefan" Elena asked.

"Are you sure you care" Katherine asked. "Where is he" Elena asked. "He's paying for this along with Violet" Katherine said. "What Violet" Elena said.

"They gave themselves over to Klaus, I wouldn't expect them anytime soon" Katherine said.

"What do you mean they gave themselves over" Elena asked. "Violet sacrificed everything for her dad along with Stefan who sacrificed everything to save his brother including you it's a good thing you have Damon to keep you company" Katherine said.

"Oh and before I forget found this" Katherine said giving Elena a letter.

"Goodbye Elena oh it's okay to love them both I did" Katherine said and left. Elena quickly opened the letter Katherine gave her.

"Elena by the time you read this I'm long gone with Uncle Stef and Klaus I'm sorry I wish I didn't have to do this but I couldn't let Stefan do this alone I had to save my dad I couldn't imagine a world without him and please do me a favor and don't look for me and get yourself killed I'm not sure if I'll be back and in case I'm not thank you for being my best friend you have no idea what I'd do for you and please watch over my dad okay you're good for him love Violet" the letter said.

"I suppose brother you've been reunited with our family" Klaus said to a daggered Elijah before shutting the coffin. "You two need a moment or can we get a move on" Violet asked.

"Put him with the others we're leaving town tonight" Klaus said before going to Stefan and Violet.

Stefan's phone buzzed, and he looked at it. "So did Katerina make it in time" Klaus asked.

Violet looked at Stefan and he nodded to her indicating Damon was okay.

"You won't be seeing her again you know" Stefan said. "Because she's on vervain I've been around a long time Stefan I rarely get played for a fool besides she won't get far you'll help me see to that" Klaus said.

"What is it you really want from us" Stefan asked. "All will be explained in time once we leave this tragic little town" Klaus said.

"Then what are we waiting for, for you to complain more" Violet asked. "Not quite I have a gift for your uncle" Klaus said.

"Come here sweetheart don't be afraid" Klaus said and a compelled human went to Klaus.

"See I wanna make sure you honor our deal that you'll be of use" Klaus told Stefan.

Klaus bit the girl's neck and looked at Stefan with his hybrid face. "I could have compelled her to behave but a real ripper enjoys the hunt" Klaus said and let go of the girl who ran.

Stefan ran after her and Violet sighed when she heard her scream. "Now can we go or would you rather play more" Violet asked.
