"This is useless all these grimoires there has to be something in here to keep Elena from becoming a vampire" Jeremy said. "Jeremy relax we're looking don't worry" Violet said.

Bonnie looked at the two seeing the love Jeremy had for Violet in his eyes and smiled before looking back down to her book.

"We will figure this out okay" Violet said. "Okay" Jeremy said and gave Violet a quick kiss. "Which one are you reading" Bonnie asked seeing Jeremy reading a grimoire.

"Emily Bennett's there's a section on spells she did for my ancestor Johnathan Gilbert" Jeremy said.

"Yeah, I think she had a thing for him" Bonnie said.

"There's something on a resuscitative spell she was working on" Jeremy said. "Let me see" Violet said looking.

"Yeah, I saw that too she just didn't explain what it did exactly" Bonnie said.

"Well maybe Johnathan wrote about it in his journals you know I can have Stefan bring em" Jeremy said. "Someone's here" Bonnie said.

Jeremy held onto Violet worried. "Don't worry it's okay" Violet told Jeremy and Alaric walked in. "Hey what are you doing here" Jeremy asked.

"Elijah and Stefan are upstairs" Alaric said. "You two mind if I have a second with Jeremy" Alaric asked. "Sure" Violet said and left with Bonnie.

After learning of Klaus taking Jenna to sacrifice her as a vampire Violet snuck off without Elijah and Stefan noticing.

Violet made sure no one was around when she took a vile of blood out of her boot.

Violet opened the capsule and took a breath. Violet was about to drink it when suddenly it was smacked out of her hand.

Violet looked and saw Stefan in front of her. "What are you doing how did you even get that" Stefan asked.

"Dad's a heavy sleeper" Violet said. "Violet you can't do this" Stefan said. "I have to if I become a vampire Klaus can use me and not Jenna" Violet said.

"You'd be dead" Stefan said. "Better me than Jenna I can't let Jeremy and Elena lose the only parent they have" Violet said. "And they can't lose you" Stefan said.

"Jenna should be able to live" Violet said. "I know and she will I promise" Stefan said.

"Bonnie did the locater spell they're at Steven's quarry" Elijah said going over to Stefan.

"I'll head over there first, and you'll follow with Bonnie when it's time" Stefan said.

"Just as the moon hits its final phase, she's to stay hidden until then he cannot know that she's alive" Elijah said. "You're very honorable" Elijah told Stefan. "Are you" Stefan asked Elijah.

"Because this whole plan is um, ya contingent upon your honor Elijah" Stefan said. "I won't fail you" Elijah said.

"Klaus is your brother I know I've wanted to kill my brother a thousand times I've never been able to" Stefan said.

"Well Klaus was not my only brother I had siblings, parents, I had a family, over the centuries Klaus hunted them down one by one and he took them from me he scattered them across the seas where their bodies could not be found" Elijah said.

"You want revenge" Stefan said. "Sometimes there's honor in revenge Stefan, I won't fail you" Elijah said. "Please end this" Stefan said and left.

Stefan went to trade himself for Jenna not realizing Violet secretly followed him by becoming invisible. Once Stefan and Klaus spoke for a few moments they came back down.

"Quite the predicament you know it's funny all this talk about preserving family and here's Stefan granting your wish" Klaus said.

"Stefan" Elena said. "It's okay" Stefan said and Violet became visible.

"Or you can use me feed me your blood and I'll become a vampire just let Jenna live" Violet said and Elena, Jenna, Stefan, and Klaus looked at her.

"Violet no" Elena said. "I heard of you the Salvatore witch niece of Stefan daughter of Damon" Klaus said.

"I'm also willing to do whatever it takes to keep Jenna alive let her live" Violet said. "No, no she doesn't need to die let my niece live use me" Stefan said.

"No, me please don't let me see my uncle die" Violet said. "Well, who's it gonna be Elena" Klaus asked.

"No" Elena said. "Oh, don't worry there's actually no choice" Klaus said and sped to Stefan stabbing him in the back.

"No Stefan" Elena said. Once Stefan fell to the ground Klaus sped to Violet and threw her causing her to fall. Violet went to get up when Greta held her back.

"No" Elena said. "I have other plans for your boyfriend and best friend I want them alive but for now" Klaus said and snapped Stefan's neck.

"Whenever you're ready Greta" Klaus said. Greta started chanting and the fire disappeared from where Jenna was. "No" Elena said. "Your turn" Klaus said.

"No Jenna no" Elena said. "It's alright Elena I know what I have to do" Jenna said and sped to Greta feeding on her.

When Klaus sped to Jenna and stabbed her causing Jenna to pull away from Greta.

Klaus pushed Jenna on the ground causing her to lay on her stomach. "Jenna no" Elena said crying.

"Just turn it off Jenna turn it off you won't be scared anymore" Elena said. Klaus pushed Jenna to lay on her back and stabbed her in the heart.

"No Jenna" Elena yelled. "No Jenna" Elena said while Jenna died. Shortly Stefan woke up and he saw Violet surrounded by fire and Jenna was dead.

Stefan turned to Elena. "I'm so sorry" Stefan told Elena. "Shh" Elena said putting her finger to her lips.

"Are they gonna kill him" Elena asked whispering. "Yes" Stefan said whispering.

"It's time" Klaus said going to Elena. The fire disappeared around Elena and Klaus offered his hand. Elena didn't take his hand and went to stand in the front.

Stefan and Violet went to get up but couldn't. Klaus bit into Elena's neck. "No" Violet yelled.

Klaus drained Elena of her blood and she fell to the ground. Suddenly the fire went out. "I can feel it it's happening" Klaus said and he started to transform.

"Yes, yes" Klaus said when suddenly he was thrown. Greta looked and saw Bonnie chanting.

Damon went behind Greta and killed her. Damon grabbed Elena and went to Stefan and Violet rushed over to them.

"No, you were dead" Klaus said. Damon laid Elena next to Stefan. "Elena" Stefan said.

Damon took the stake out of Stefan. "I need you to get her out of here" Stefan told Damon.

"What about you" Damon asked. "I'm not leaving until he's dead" Stefan said. "Uncle Stef" Violet said. "Go I'll be okay make sure Elena's okay" Stefan said and Violet quickly left with Damon who grabbed Elena before leaving.

"If you come back as a vampire, I'll stake you myself so don't" Damon said and laid Elena down on the couch with Violet going to stand beside Damon.

"Because I can't stand the idea of you hating me forever" Damon said and Alaric rushed in the room with Jeremy. "How is she" Jeremy asked. "I don't know yet" Damon said.

"Only one way to find out" Violet said. "What about Jenna" Alaric asked.

Damon looked at Alaric giving him a sad look. "No" Alaric said. "I'm sorry Jeremy" Damon said before focusing back on Elena. 

Alaric left the room and Violet went to Jeremy holding his hand giving him some comfort.

Elena suddenly woke up. "Elena" Damon said, and Jeremy and Violet went to her. "Hey" Jeremy said, and Alaric came back in the room. "Damon I" Elena said.

"How do you feel" Damon asked. "I feel fine" Elena said. "Oh, that's a relief" Violet said letting go of Jeremy's hand laying her head on Elena's lap. Elena smiled at her and played with her hair.

After Jenna's funeral and everyone had placed roses on her grave and said their goodbyes Stefan had made his way to Damon.

"We're gonna head back to the house" Stefan said. "I think I'll skip the coffee and tea cakes" Damon said. "Damon, she needs us right now all of us" Stefan said.

"And then what's the plan Stefan" Damon asked. "The curse is broken" Damon said.

"How does one go about killing an all-powerful wolf vamp and his two-faced older brother" Damon asked.

"I have no idea" Stefan said. "We need to get an idea fast" Damon said.

"I'm not going to let Elena lose anybody else" Stefan said. "I wouldn't make any promises brother" Damon said.

"What's that supposed to mean" Stefan asked. "Tyler Lockwood bit me" Damon said and shown his bite mark.

"It's actually more of a nip really but there it is" Damon said. Stefan had looked at it before looking at Damon. "We'll find something a cure" Stefan said.

"There's no cure Stefan" Damon said. "We kept Elena human right we found a way when there was no way hey, I will do this" Stefan said.

"You wanna do something for me keep this from Elena the last thing she needs is another grave to mourn" Damon said. "And what about Violet" Stefan asked.

"Damon she's your daughter you can't keep this from her" Stefan said.

"I have to I can't tell her just tell her I love her when I'm gone and I'm sorry" Damon said and left.
