Violet, Elena, and Stefan were all gathered together in Alaric's classroom after telling them about Isobel. Damon walked in the classroom after Alaric called for him to come by.

"Damon thanks for coming" Alaric said. "Sorry I'm late the dog ate my uh never mind" Damon said. "Dad this is serious" Violet said.

Damon noticed everyone's look. "What's all the furrowed brows" Damon said.

"I saw Isobel last night" Alaric said. "Isobel's here in town" Damon asked. "Did you ask about Uncle John" Damon asked Alaric are they working together" Damon asked.

"No" Alaric said. "No, they're not" Damon asked. "No, I didn't ask" Alaric said. "What about the invention" Damon asked.

"Didn't ask" Alaric said. "Does she know about the tomb of vampires" Damon asked. "I don't know" Alaric said. "Did words completely escape you" Damon asked.

"No, I was a little too distracted by my dead vampire wife to ask any questions" Alaric said.

"What did she want" Damon asked. "She wants to see me Damon" Elena told Damon. "After trying to keep Elena from finding her she suddenly wants a meeting mother of the year" Violet said sarcastically.

"Alaric is supposed to arrange a meeting we don't know why or what she wants" Stefan said.

"You don't have to see her if you don't want to" Damon said. "I don't really have a choice" Elena said.

"She's threatening to go on a killing spree" Alaric said. "Oh, I take it that's not okay with you guys" Damon said. "I wanna do it I wanna meet her if I don't I know I'll regret it" Elena said.

Violet was sitting with Elena waiting on Isobel. "Thanks for staying with me" Elena said to Violet.

"You're my best friend I'd do anything for you I may not be yours, but you are mine" Violet said. "I hope you know I am sorry about" Elena said.

"Elena don't it's okay I know you are okay it's fine I promise" Violet said and Elena smiled. "Can you hear me" Violet asked looking at Stefan. "Thanks for coming I'm nervous" Elena said and Stefan nodded.

"But I'm happy that you're here both of you" Elena said and looked at Violet who smiled.

"Love you" Elena told Stefan who mouthed it back to her. Isobel came over and sat down.

"Hello Elena" Isobel said. "Your Isobel you're not what I was expecting" Violet said. "And what's that" Isobel asked.

"I don't know thorns on your head, a pointy nose" Violet said. "You must be Violet, Damon Salvatore's witch daughter" Isobel said. "I would say nice to meet you but it's not" Violet said.

"You were supposed to come alone" Isobel said. "Yeah, well this is the best you're gonna get" Violet said.

"You look just like her it's eerie" Isobel said to Elena changing the subject. "You've met Katherine" Elena asked. "She found me after I turned generic curiosity, I suppose she would be fascinated by you" Isobel said.

"Is that how you can walk in the day" Elena asked motioning to Isobel's necklace. "Katherine helped me obtain it" Isobel said.

"Who's my father" Elena asked. "Not important he was a teenage waste of space" Isobel said. "A name would be nice" Elena said. "It would, wouldn't it you ask a lot of questions" Isobel said. 

"Why did you compel that man to kill himself right after he told me to stop looking for you" Elena said.

"Traumatic impact wish it would have been more affective" Isobel said. "Human life means that little to you" Elena asked. "Means nothing to me it's just part of being what I am" Isobel said.

"Huh say it louder I'm not sure your human daughter heard it" Violet said motioning to Elena.

"Does she have to be here" Isobel asked. "She has a name and it's Violet" Violet said. "Or does someone need to go back to school" Violet asked. "Okay we're getting off subject" Elena said.

"No, it's not" Elena said getting back to subject. "I know other vampires that's not true" Elena said.

"Your new boyfriend over there by the pool table Stefan Salvatore" Isobel said. "Why Stefan why didn't you go for Violet's dad Damon or do you enjoy them both" Isobel asked.

"Like Katherine did" Isobel said. "Ugh please don't insult her" Violet said.  "Why did you want to meet me" Elena asked.

"It can't be just to catch up" Elena said. "Because I'm curious about you" Isobel said. "Since when" Violet asked. "Because you're a little late now to play mommy" Violet said.

"I don't like you" Isobel said. "Feeling's mural but do us a favor and tell us the real reason" Violet said. 

"The real reason is I want what your uncle wants Johnathon Gilbert's invention" Isobel said to Elena. "How do you know my uncle" Elena asked.

"I used to spend a lot of time here when I was younger John had a crush on me for years, he was the first one that told me about vampires" Isobel said.

"So, what made you wanna be one" Elena asked. "It's a very long list of reasons Elena all of which I'm sure you've thought about" Isobel said and Elena shook her head.

"That was your first lie it's inevitable you're gonna get old Stefan won't forever doesn't last very long when you're human" Isobel said.

"I'm sorry but I don't have what you're looking for" Elena said getting up to walk away when Isobel grabbed her arm.

"Sit down and tell your boyfriend to walk away" Isobel said when she felt someone grab her arm.

Isobel looked and saw Violet was siphoning her. "Let go now or I will gladly rip your head off and I don't care who sees" Violet said.

"You're bluffing" Isobel said. "Try me" Violet said and Isobel let go of Elena's arm.

Elena gave Violet a grateful smile and sat back down. "I don't care who you are but as long as I'm around no one lays a finger on Elena, or I will gladly tear you to shreds" Violet told Isobel.

"You okay" Violet asked Elena. "Yeah thanks" Elena said. "Uncle Stef you can have a seat I got it covered no worries" Violet said and Stefan sat down. "I want the invention" Isobel said.

"I don't have it" Elena said. "I know that, but Damon does and you're gonna get it for me" Isobel said.

"He's not gonna give it to me and I'm not sure if he will even give it to Vi" Elena said. "Then the blood will be on your hands" Isobel said. Isobel got up and grabbed her things.

"It was nice meeting you Elena" Isobel said and left. "Can I kill her" Violet asked.

"Not yet" Elena said. Elena got up once she saw Bonnie and Bonnie looked like she was about to go over til she saw Stefan.

Bonnie walked away leaving. Violet sighed and got up pulling Elena in for a hug and Elena cried in her arms. Stefan smiled at the two and gave Violet a nod who gave him a small smile.

Jeremy saw Violet and walked up to her. "Hey, have you seen Anna" Jeremy asked. "No" Violet said.

"Look if you need something you gotta tell me" Jeremy said. "I would if I knew" Violet said.

"I know you're a witch and I know Elena knows and I know your dad and uncle are vampires so if you know where Anna is, tell me" Jeremy said.

"I don't" Violet said and Jeremy went to walk away when Violet grabbed his arm.

"Look I don't care if you know about us personally, I think you should have known all along but know this I wouldn't advise giving me attitude again you may be my friend but if you test me again, you'll regret it, and you have no idea what I'm capable of after all I am a Salvatore" Violet said.

Bonnie, Stefan, Elena, and Violet were gathered together in the classroom after Elena informed them what Isobel done. "Where's the device" Bonnie asked.

"Damon has it he's going to be difficult to reason with" Stefan said. "Violet, can't you talk to your dad" Bonnie asked.

"I'm not sure if he'll listen to me but I know for a fact he'll listen to Elena" Violet said.

"We'll go to him I'll talk to him" Elena said. "He's not just gonna hand it over especially if it's harmful to vampires" Stefan said. "I mean would you" Violet asked.

"What if it's not" Elena asked getting an idea. "What do you have in mind" Violet asked.

"Absolutely not" Damon said after Bonnie, Violet, Elena, and Stefan went to the boarding house to get the device from Damon.

"Just hear me out" Elena said. "I'm not gonna give the device to Isobel so she can give it to John who's gonna turn around and kill me I like being a living dead person" Damon said.

"Dad just listen" Violet said. "it'll be useless Bonnie can take its power away" Elena said. "I don't trust her" Damon said.

"I can remove the original spell" Bonnie said. "John and Isobel will never know" Elena said.

"No, no I'll get Jeremy my own way" Damon said. "Really" Stefan said. "Mm-hmm" Damon said.

"How are you gonna do that hmm" Stefan asked. "Because Isobel is a vampire and Jeremy can be dead the second you walk in the door" Stefan said.

"Are you even up for this" Damon asked Bonnie. "I mean no offense you're no Emily Bennett Emily knew what she was doing" Damon said.

"I've been practicing" Bonnie said. "It's not piano lessons honey" Damon said and Bonnie went to him. "What's your favorite book" Bonnie asked. "What" Damon said.

"Name a book any book" Bonnie said. "Name a book how about call of the wild Jack London" Damon said.

Bonnie went to the bookshelf using her powers when a book flew out and Damon caught it.

"Jack London" Damon said and put the book down. "Great parlor trick" Damon said. "We're doing this Damon and we're gonna do it my way now give me the device we're wasting time" Elena said.

"Dad come on" Violet said. "I don't trust you I tried to kill you" Damon told Bonnie. "Hmm you're right you can't trust me" Bonnie said.

"But you can trust me" Elena said. "Dad please" Violet said and Damon looked at his daughter then at Elena and gave Elena the device. "Thank you" Elena said.

Everyone watched Bonnie as she chanted a spell to remove the original spell from the device.

Moments later she was done. "Done" Bonnie told Elena. Elena went to her and took it from her hands. "Great now what" Damon asked.

"Now we give it to Isobel" Elena said. "Okay but if she tries anything I'm going full witch on her" Violet said. "My daughter everyone" Damon said smiling.

Elena went to give Isobel the device giving her the impression she went alone. She felt a whoosh and turned around seeing Isobel.

"Where's the device" Isobel asked. "Where's my brother" Elena asked back. "This isn't a negotiation" Isobel said. "Where's the invention" Isobel asked.

"Where is my brother" Elena asked back. "Do you really think that I came alone" Isobel asked and Elena turned around seeing 2 of Isobel's vampires.

"Do you really think that I came alone" Elena asked back and Elena nodded behind her.

Isobel turned around and saw Damon, Stefan, and Violet and turned back to face Elena. "For God sakes call home" Isobel said.

"What" Elena said. "Call home ask to speak to your brother Jeremy" Isobel said. Elena called home and waited for Jeremy to pick up. "Hello" Jeremy said. "Jeremy are you okay" Elena asked.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine Uncle John uh hit his head it was an accident" Jeremy said. "And we're all laughing" Jenna said.

"Yeah, but um I'm okay" Jeremy said. "I'll be home soon alright" Elena said. "Yeah" Jeremy said and hung up. "You were never gonna hurt him" Elena said to Isobel.

"No, I was gonna kill him don't look for any redeeming qualities in me I don't have any" Isobel said. "Obviously" Violet mumbled.

"But you took a risk with Damon" Elena said. "How did you know that he was gonna give it to me" Elena asked. "Cause he's in love with you" Isobel said and Violet looked at Damon before looking back at Elena.

Elena sighed and gave the device to Isobel. "Thank you" Elena said. "For what" Isobel asked.

"For being such a monumental disappointment, it keeps the memory of my real mother perfectly intact" Elena said.

"Goodbye Elena as long as you have a Salvatore on each arm, you're doomed Katherine was smart she got out, but we all know that you're not Katherine" Isobel said and she and her vampires left.

Stefan went to Elena and hugged her while Violet went to her dad.

"Dad you okay" Violet asked seeing the look on his face. After Damon didn't say anything, Violet pulled her dad in for a hug which he returned.

Violet was reading a book when Stefan walked in. "Say it whatever it is purge get it out" Damon said.

"It's about what Isobel said" Stefan said. "I had a feeling this would come up" Violet said.

"What about it" Damon asked. "Well, I know that you and Elena have bonded, and I know that she cares about you and uh I know you care about her" Stefan said.

"Well, this is going in an interesting direction" Damon said. "I'm just concerned about Elena being hurt she considers you a friend" Stefan said.

"Same here Elena's a very good friend actually she might qualify as my only friend" Damon said.

"Is that a problem" Damon asked. "Okay where is this going" Violet asked. "So, at the risk of sounding like a uh like a jealous boyfriend" Stefan said.

"Oh, there's no risk you do" Damon said. "History will not be repeating itself where Elena is concerned" Stefan said.

"Do you understand what I'm saying" Stefan asked. "Sure" Damon said turning around.

"Sure" Damon said, and Stefan sped in front of Damon. "Okay do y'all need a human school or something can you not walk at normal speed" Violet asked.

"Do you understand" Stefan asked Damon. "Uh whatever you say man I mean honestly we're just friends and as her friend I wasn't looking forward to telling her the truth anyway, so I'll let you do it" Damon said and drowned his drink.

"What truth" Stefan asked. "About John because I know you guys don't like to keep secrets from each other" Damon said.

"What are you talking about" Stefan asked. "Am I the only one around here who had the ability to put two and two together" Damon asked.

"Isobel hello" Damon said and Stefan shrugged. "She dated John when she was 15, she gets pregnant and ends up at the doctor's office of John's brother" Damon said and Violet started to realize what Damon was saying. 

"Now what do you think John's role is in all of this hmm" Damon asked. "I mean go ahead think about it I'll wait" Damon said.

"Did you get it you there yet hmm" Damon asked. "So, you think that John is Elena's father" Stefan said. "Ding, ding, ding" Damon said. "What proof do you have" Stefan asked.

"I don't need any proof that's a DNA test for John and Elena and Maury Povich to deal with, but I know how well you deal with these big bombshells so sleep tight" Damon said walking away.

"Oh, and when you do tell Elena and she needs a friend to talk to about anything I'm here for her" Damon said and left.

"Yeah, I'll just finish this in my room" Violet said and took her book and left.
