Violet was with Jeremy at his locker while Violet looked at him every so often afraid it was all a dream.

"You don't have to keep looking at me I'm fine" Jeremy said and closed his locker. "I know I just never mind" Violet said. "No what is it" Jeremy asked.

"I thought that I lost you that I never see you again and I just I, I" Violet said and Jeremy held her hands.

"Hey, hey don't worry I'm right here I'm fine promise" Jeremy said.

"Just promise me you'll never scare me like that again" Violet said.

"I promise" Jeremy said hugging her. It was like that hug was all it took for Jeremy to realize he's been chasing the wrong girl all along.

Jeremy broke the hug once he saw Stefan coming over. Stefan gave Jeremy vervain. "It's uh it's the same as the bracelet Elena gave you" Stefan said and Jeremy sniffed it.

"So, it protects me from compulsion" Jeremy said. "Vervain is toxic to vampires" Stefan said. "You mean like poison" Jeremy asked.

"Yeah, it's very poisonous it'll keep 'em out of your head" Stefan said. "But why vervain" Jeremy asked. "I don't know certain natural herbs and roots and other elements are just harmful to vampires" Stefan said.

"Like a stake to the heart" Jeremy asked. "Right but it has to be wood" Stefan said.

"You're pretty confident in yourself telling me all the different ways I could kill you" Jeremy said.

"Especially with me here your niece" Violet said. "Jeremy if I thought you wanted to kill me, we'd be having a much different conversation okay" Stefan said.

"Yeah, Damon is the one who deserves it" Jeremy said. "Try to remember your friends with his daughter" Violet said motioning to herself.

"I want you to forget about Damon alright he's a hundred times stronger than you and right now he's not stable gotta try to move forward" Stefan said.

"I was killed by a vampire and brought back by a magic ring" Jeremy said. "Luckily" Violet mumbled.

"How do you move forward from that" Jeremy asked. "Right, well today we have a nice little distraction courtesy of slave driver Elena" Stefan said as Elena came over.

"Lena" Violet said smiling. "Hello Elena" Stefan said. "Hey um do you" Elena started to ask Jeremy.

"Yeah, yeah I set up the goldfish toss all 300 goldfish it's gonna be epic" Jeremy said.

"Vi you coming" Jeremy asked and she nodded. Violet waved at Elena before leaving with Jeremy.

Jeremy and Violet decided to go to the carnival together. They were about to play a game together when Violet saw her dad. "Oh no" Violet said and Jeremy was confused till he saw Damon.

"Jeremy so good to see you alive" Damon said going to them. "Aren't you a little girl old for a high school carnival" Damon asked.

"Yeah, like a hundred" Violet said. "Watch it I'm still your dad I can still ground you" Damon said and Violet rolled her eyes.

"About 150 years too old" Damon said. "Oh, you're pretty funny cracking jokes when I could I don't know blow the whole lid off this thing by telling someone what you really are" Jeremy said.

"Jer" Violet started to say before Damon grabbed him leading him away from the game.

"Dad, dad" Violet said following them. "Dad let him go" Violet said. "So please tell me that is not a threat" Damon said.

"Maybe it is" Jeremy said showing his ring. Damon let go of Jeremy and held him in a choke position. "Dad what are you doing" Violet asked. "Dad stop dad" Violet said.

"This is what we're not gonna do we're not gonna walk around like we're invincible when it's this easy for me to end you" Damon said and let go of Jeremy.

"If you wanna tell people what I really am go ahead and try but you and I both know you'll lose Violet if you do" Damon said and threw Jeremy his ring before leaving.

Violet bent down grabbed Jeremy's ring and gave it to him. Jeremy put the ring on and faced Violet.

"You won again" Violet said and Jeremy smiled. "Come on you won a few times" Jeremy said.

"Not as often as you" Violet said. Jeremy smiled before giving Violet a stuffed bunny. "For you" Jeremy said.

Violet smiled at him while Jeremy stared into her eyes like he could get lost in them. "Thanks Jer, I love it" Violet said. "Good" Jeremy said.

Violet was looking for her dad when she saw Bonnie trying to kill him. She ran over to her dad before looking at Bonnie.

"Bonnie stop Bonnie he's my dad Bonnie" Violet said trying to get Bonnie to stop.

"Please forgive me" Violet said seeing she had no other choice. Violet threw Bonnie using her magic causing her to stop using her magic on Damon.

Violet helped Damon up before going to Bonnie and Elena with Elena helping Bonnie up.

"Why did you do that" Bonnie asked. "He's my dad Bonnie I can't survive without him I love him" Violet said.

"Do you really want to make me an orphan" Violet asked. "I'll talk to her" Elena said and led Bonnie away.
