Damon just dropped Violet off at school before driving off. Jeremy saw Violet and ran up to her. "Vi hey" Jeremy said. "Hey Jer" Violet said.

"So, listen um thanks for last night" Jeremy said. "Oh, it was no problem I mean I know you cared for Vicki even though it kinda grossed me out a little seeing you two together" Violet said.

"Why you jealous" Jeremy asked. "Shut up" Violet said and Jeremy laughed. "How are things with Anna" Violet asked.

"I think I kinda messed it up" Jeremy said. "Jer" Violet said. "I know trust me I know I'm an idiot" Jeremy said. "Huge one" Violet said. "Hey, you're supposed to be my friend" Jeremy said.

"I can still be your friend and call you an idiot" Violet said. "Okay fair point" Jeremy said, and Violet smiled.

"See you after school" Violet asked and Jeremy nodded. Violet smiled at him and walked off not realizing Jeremy was still smiling while she walked away.

Violet was at her locker when Caroline walked up to her. "Vi I'm so glad you're here" Caroline said.

"Caroline hey we haven't talked in like forever" Violet said. "I know I'm a terrible friend I know" Caroline said.

"What, no you're not Care we just both been busy in our own worlds I get it" Violet said. "But I promise someday we will make up for it okay" Violet said and Caroline nodded.

"Hey how's Jeremy" Caroline asked. "Devastated but who could blame him they were close, and he did love her even if it is gross" Violet said and Caroline laughed.

"You so like him" Caroline said. "Shut up and it doesn't matter okay he likes this girl named Anna" Violet said.

"Well sooner or later he's going to realize what he's been missing" Caroline said. "Can we not talk about this" Violet asked.

"Fine" Caroline said. "How's Matt" Violet asked. "He's hanging in there I guess I don't know when I tried to comfort him, he brushed me off and then when Elena shown up" Caroline said.

"Care they've known each other forever their close they dated I'm not saying it's right, but you guys just started hanging out or dating or whatever sometimes it takes time to warm up to someone with things like this" Violet said.

"And if he continues to be like this then dump him you don't deserve that" Violet said and Caroline nodded.

"Thanks Vi" Caroline said. "Of course," Violet said and the bell rang.

"Catch up later" Violet asked and Caroline nodded. Violet smiled at her and headed off to class.

Violet knocked in the door and Jenna answered. "Violet come on in Jeremy, Elena, Violet's here" Jenna said once Violet walked in and Jenna closed the door behind her.

Jeremy walked over saw Violet and smiled at her with John soon joining him. "Hey what are you doing here" Jeremy asked.

"Thought we were hanging out" Violet said. "Oh, right sorry it slipped my mind meet me upstairs I'll go get the game ready" Jeremy said and went up to his room.

"Uh Violet this is John Gilbert, John, Violet Salvatore she is Elena and Jeremy's friend" Jenna said.

"Salvatore" John said. "Damon's daughter" Violet said shaking his hand glaring at him.

"Of course," John said. "Well, it was nice to meet you, but Jeremy is waiting" Violet said leaving but John followed her and stopped her at the steps.

"Is my nephew aware he is hanging out with a vampire" John asked Violet and Violet faced him.

"Get over yourself old man I'm not a vampire" Violet said. "You're a Salvatore" John said. "And you're a Gilbert" Violet said back.

"I'm adopted you moron" Violet said. "Want me to prove it so I can get away from your pathetic voice" Violet asked. "Fine" Violet said and focused on her magic causing a window to break.

John looked before looking back at Violet. "I'm a witch and next time you want to make assumptions about me I'll rip your tongue out of your head" Violet said and went to Jeremy's room.

Violet walked into Jeremy's room and grabbed a controller before sitting next to Jeremy. "Hey everything okay" Jeremy asked.

"Took you some time to get up here" Jeremy said. "Yeah, your uncle just wanted to talk to me" Violet said. "Are you okay" Jeremy asked. "Yeah, nothing I can't handle" Violet said and Jeremy smiled.

"I promise I'm fine" Violet said. "Okay" Jeremy said, and they started to play the video game while Jeremy glanced at Violet every so often.

Not understanding why, he did it, but he looked back at the game before she noticed.

Soon enough the game ended, and Jeremy won. "Oh, come on" Violet said and Jeremy laughed.

"That's it I want a rematch" Violet said. "You said that three games okay" Jeremy said. "Fine" Violet said and hit him with a pillow. "Hey" Jeremy said and hit her back.

They kept pillow fighting until Violet ended up laying on her back with Jeremy on top of her.

They gazed into each other's eyes and Jeremy, and it was like electricity was pulling them together. Jeremy leaned in to kiss her. "No wait" Violet said and Jeremy looked at her.

"I'm sorry" Jeremy said. "No don't be it's just, you just lost Vicki and now you may have feelings for Anna" Violet said. "Anna" Jeremy asked getting off of her and helping her sit up.

"Jer it's okay if you like Anna you've been hanging out a lot okay but be careful, I don't want you hurt" Violet said.

"But Vi I" Jeremy said. "Look we were just caught up in the moment right so it's okay we'll just pretend it never happened okay" Violet said. "Vi" Jeremy said.

"I gotta get home" Violet said and got up and left. Jeremy fell back on his bed and sighed.
