"Damon hasn't said a word to me every time I try to talk to him, he shuts me down" Stefan told Elena.

"It's true he really only talks to me probably because I'm his daughter and he can't go a day without talking to me he tried he always caves" Violet said.

"Do you think he's still trying to find Katherine" Elena asked. "I sure hope not" Violet mumbled.

"I don't know he waited 145 years only to find out that Katherine could not care less I mean that's gotta hurt right" Stefan said.

"And it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy" Elena said. "You have every reason to be upset with him" Stefan said. "Vi I never asked you but what do you have against Katherine" Elena asked.

"I mean I know what Stefan does, but I would assume since Damon is in love with her, he would talk nothing but good about her" Elena said.

"Your right he does but let's just say I've heard stories especially from Uncle Stef here and to be honest if it were up to me the second, I laid eyes on her she be dead before she could even blink" Violet said.

"Have you thought any more about what you're going to do" Stefan asked.

"About what Isobel my vampire birth mother who's related to my vampire ancestor Katherine who screamed over your vampire brother also known as Violet's father" Elena asked.

"Nah haven't thought about it at all" Elena said. "I'm sorry I brought it up" Stefan said.

"Probably was t the best time uncle Stef" Violet said. "It'd just be nice if we could get through one day without having to deal with any of it no vampire mother or brother" Elena said.

"No vampires at all" Stefan asked. "No vampires but you" Elena said. "Gross I'm gonna find Jeremy so I don't have to listen to you flirt" Violet said and left.

"Jer you okay" Violet asked. "Yeah, I'm fine" Jeremy said. "Why" Jeremy asked. "Your just acting different" Violet said. "I'm acting different" Jeremy asked.

"Yeah, you just seem like you're hiding something, or you know something" Violet said. "I'm fine I promise" Jeremy said.

"How's Anna" Violet asked changing the subject. "She's okay" Jeremy said. "What about you is there anyone you like" Jeremy asked. "Just the oblivious ones" Violet said.

"What" Jeremy said confused. "Uh nothing, never mind" Violet said. "Vi" Jeremy started to say. "See you at lunch" Violet said and left quickly.

Violet was in her room finishing some homework when Damon walked in. "Hey dad" Violet said.

"Hey sweetie" Damon said. "That your homework" Damon asked. "Yeah sadly" Violet said. "You know I could always compel your teacher to never give you homework" Damon said.

"Dad, I have to have somewhat of a normal life without supernatural help" Violet said.

"But that's boring you hate boring it's why we get along so well" Damon said. "Yeah, I know but I rather not have any vampire hunters on our trail" Violet said.

"Fair point" Damon said, and Violet smiled at him. "I'll be downstairs if you need me" Damon said. "I should be down soon I'm almost done" Violet said. "Okay" Damon said and left.

Damon was sitting on the couch in the living room when Violet joined him a few moments later.

Stefan walked in and saw the father daughter duo and went to them giving Damon a look. "Don't look at me like that" Damon said. "What I miss" Violet asked.

"Nothing big that you need to worry about" Damon told Violet. "Are you crazy" Stefan asked Damon.

"Save the lecture look" Damon said when Stefan was knocked to the ground.

"Don't move" Damon told Violet when a vampire staked Stefan and Damon went to the vampire fighting him.

Stefan managed to get the stake out when another vampire appeared and fought Stefan.

Despite her father's wishes Violet tried her best to help using her magic managing to get the vampire off Stefan giving Stefan enough time to stake her killing her.

Damon managed to throw the vampire he was fighting off of him when the vampire noticed his dead friend and sped off.

Damon looked at Violet and went to her to make sure she was okay. "I'm fine dad" Violet said.

"I told you to stay put " Damon said. "Yeah, well I couldn't sit there and watch you or Uncle Stef die" Violet said. "I remember them from 1864 they were in the tomb" Stefan said. "Yeah, about that" Damon said.
