Damon and Violet walked over to Rose and Rose sensed their presence. "I was born in 1450 that makes me 560 years old" Rose said.

"Well if you were a bottle of wine" Damon said. "So, like you to be flirting with a sick person on their death bed" Violet said. "So, I can die I've lived long enough" Rose said.

"I can try to siphon it" Violet said. "No, it's okay I can't take that risk I'll be fine" Rose said. "Rose please" Violet said.

"No, it could kill you I'm not taking that chance" Rose said. "Okay" Violet said giving in. 

"You know if you're going to be maudlin, I'm just going to kill you myself just to put me out of your misery" Damon said. "Don't act like you don't care you and I both know you do" Violet said. 

"Come on its just a little werewolf bite" Damon said. "Just a little fatal to a vampire werewolf bite" Rose said. "If you'd let me help" Violet said.

"No okay no I can't be the reason Damon loses his daughter his pride and joy I made up my mind" Rose said and Violet sighed.

"Well according to legend which is a notoriously unreliable source drink up blood heals" Damon told Rose giving her a glass of blood. Rose took the glass and drowned it. 

"Yeah, it does feel like it's working" Rose said. "Let's have a look cone on" Damon said and Rose turned around. 

Damon moved her shirt as Violet and Damon looked at her wound seeing it was getting worse.

"How is it" Rose asked. "Definitely better" Damon said lying. "You could barely tell there was a bite" Violet said.

"Right Elena" Damon asked seeing Elena who saw Rose's bite. Rose turned to look at Elena.

"It's not bad" Elena said. "Where's Stefan" Damon asked. "He left I need you to talk to him he's convinced that he has to find Isobel, but I think that's going to upset Elijah" Elena said.

"No can do in with Stefan on this one" Damon said. "Don't ask me either I'm on team Salvatore and not just because it's my name" Violet said and Violet and Damon made their way to Elena.

"But if you and Violet could play nurse for a little while" Damon said. "It's not necessary" Rose said.

"It is necessary Elena's a do gooder it's in her nature she just can't resist along with Violet she's a lot like her uncle in that way" Damon told Rose and left with Violet and Elena following him.

"Damon" Elena said stopping Damon.  "Is she gonna die" Elena asked.

"Probably the wolf bite caused some kind of infection it's getting worse" Damon said.

"And she won't let me help I could do it by force but I rather not I would rather siphon with consent" Violet said.  "Like poison" Elena asked.

"I don't know Elena I'm not an expert on the field" Damon said. "I'm sorry" Elena told Damon.

"Death happens we come we go sooner she dies the better" Damon said. "And again, with the pretending not to care" Violet said and Damon left.

"I hate this I'm a vampire I haven't had a cold in five centuries" Rose said and laid down in Damon's bed. "Just get on bed" Elena said.

"We don't get sick when we die it's fast and sudden and it's certainly not drawn out with an illness" Rose said. Violet and Elena covered Rose up.

"You're not going to die" Elena said. "Such a human thing to say" Rose said.

"We won't let that happen Dad will find another way I promise and if you weren't so stubborn, I could have siphoned it from you but unfortunately I won't do anything without your consent so" Violet said.

Elena looked around the room as Rose and Violet noticed. "You've never been in Damon's room before have you" Rose asked Elena.

Elena picked up a book and looked at it before putting it down. "Not what you expected" Rose asked. "Dad does have pretty amazing taste" Violet said.

"It's just a room with a bed maybe I expected there to be silk sheets" Elena said and Violet nodded seeing where she was coming from.

"You're lucky you know no one's ever loved me the way you're loved" Rose said.

"I doubt that" Elena said. "Trevor was my best friend nothing more I spent all those years on the run from Elijah, I just never thought it was a good idea to set up roots the whole idea of a family is not exactly compatible with being a vampire" Rose said.

"Why are you so eager to give up" Rose asked Elena. "I'm not giving up on anything here" Elena said handing Rose a glass.

"Could've fooled me" Violet said. "What do you call this whole idea with Elijah" Rose asked.

"I call it my best option" Elena said. "It's a stupid option" Violet said. "It's your easiest option" Rose told Elena. "That's not fair" Elena said.

"You really think that your witch friend destroyed the moonstone" Rose asked. "I spoke with Bonnie I know that she had the help of another witch assuming it's Elijah's witch so no I don't" Elena said.

"You really are determined to die aren't you" Rose asked.

"It's a little annoying but she's my best friend so gotta live with it but as long as I'm alive and breathing she won't die on my watch" Violet said.

"At least I ran you're not even trying" Rose told Elena. "I'm so tired" Rose said, and Elena and Violet went to leave when Rose stopped him.

"No stop wait tell them to prepare the horses" Rose said hallucinating.

"She's hallucinating" Violet told Elena sadly. "It's okay Rose just get some sleep you'll feel better when you wake up" Elena told Rose.

"Trevor don't be so stupid we're never going to make it there before the sun" Rose said hallucinating. "Oh Elena, Violet I need more blood" Rose said and Elena rushed to Rose.

"Yeah of course here" Elena said giving Rose the glass. Rose drank the blood before she ended up gaging. "That's not good" Violet said.

"It's okay everything's going to be alright" Violet said. "Don't give her false hope A she's not supposed to be sick and B she looks like death" Violet said.

"Just come on" Elena said and Violet left with Elena. Elena wet a rag and went to go to Rose only to see her.

"Okay how do you lose a sick vampire" Violet asked.  Elena turned around only for Rose to pin her to the wall. "Rose, Rose, calm down your hallucinating" Violet told Rose rushing over to Elena.

"It's all your fault Katerina" Rose said hallucinating. "Rose calm down please don't make me use my magic on you" Violet said.

"You Katerina you did this" Rose said hallucinating. "It's Elena, Rose I'm Elena" Elena said. "You betrayed us" Rose said. "I'm not Katherine" Elena yelled and Rose snapped out of it letting Elena go.

"Elena" Rose said, and Elena nodded. "It's me it's Elena" Elena said.

"Oh my god Elena I'm so sorry" Rose said. "Rose it was a hallucination you couldn't have known" Violet said.

"I don't know what's happening to me" Rose said. "It's alright you're going to be alright" Elena told her. "My mind I'm" Rose said. "It was just for a second" Elena said.

"I'm sorry don't be scared of me" Rose said. "I'm not, I'm not but you need to rest" Elena told Rose while Violet helped Rose get back in the bed covering her up.

"I'm scared" Rose said. "You're not alone Violet and I are right here" Elena said.

"Here where's here" Rose asked. "Damon's bedroom, you're in Damon's bedroom" Elena told Rose.

Rose looked at Violet's eyes and smiled. "You know you may not biologically be Damon's daughter but if it's possible when I look in your eyes, I see Damon" Rose told Violet who looked at her.

"I want to go home" Rose said. "Tell me about it" Elena said. "St Austell thirty kilometers south of London with fields and trees and horses" Rose said.

"Sounds beautiful" Elena said. "Yeah, it does" Violet said agreeing with Elena.

"When you live long enough everything disappears so much time wasted, I just wish I hadn't been so afraid" Rose said.

Elena and Violet went to check on Rose only to not see her. "Again, we need a bell on that girl" Violet said. Elena and Violet went to the study but didn't see Rose there.

"Maybe we should call my dad" Violet told Elena who nodded grabbing her phone and called Damon.

"It's Elena I'm worried about Rose, I think you should come home" Elena said. Elena and Violet suddenly heard clatter. "Rose" Elena said and hung up the phone.

Elena and Violet went down to the basement and Elena saw an empty blood bag on the floor.

"It's like a freaky episode of Scooby doo" Violet said. They went down farther when they saw Rose drinking blood with empty packets surrounding her.

Rose looked over and saw Elena and Violet. "Katerina" Rose said. "Not again" Violet said.

"No" Elena said grabbing Violet's hand and ran. Only to see Rose caught up to them.

"Rose stop, stop it's Elena I'm not Katherine you're hallucinating I'm not Katherine, I'm not Katherine" Elena said.

Rose went to jump on Elena when Violet tossed her across the room. "So sorry" Violet told Rose.

"Elena the curtains" Violet said and Elena opened the curtains grabbing Violet's hand and running with her. Elena and Violet went to leave when Rose appeared in front of them.

Rose went to feed off of Elena and Violet tossed her across the room again with her magic. "Twice in one day sweet" Violet said happily.

Elena and Violet rushed upstairs ran into an empty room and closed it locking it putting a dresser in front of it and Elena opened the curtains.

Violet looked down and broke a piece of wood off a chair tossing it to Elena who caught it.

"Elena" Rose said trying to get the door open. "I know that it's you and not Katherine" Rose said. Rose started gagging as Elena and Violet heard. "Elena please I need your help" Rose said.

Elena and Violet were still in the room trapped together in silence.

"Come on help me with the desk" Elena said. Violet nodded and got up going towards the desk.

Violet moved the desk with Elena's help. Elena unlocked the door and slowly opened it and didn't see Rose.

"Stay close by" Elena told Violet. "Aren't I supposed to be protecting you I have magic you don't" Violet said. "I'm not letting you get hurt" Elena told Violet as they went out in the hall.

They looked for Rose and when they turned around, they saw the door wide open.

Suddenly Damon sped in front of Elena. "Really again ugh vampire speed" Violet said. "You two okay" Damon asked.

"Where's Rose" Damon asked and Elena shook her head. "I don't know" Elena said. "We were a little too busy trying to not let her kill us" Violet said.

"Violet stay here I think I may know where she is Elena and I'll be back soon and don't argue please" Damon said. "Fine" Violet said, and Damon left with Elena.

Violet went to Damon's room where she saw Rose and noticed she was dead. "I'm sorry dad" Violet said. 

"It's okay had to be done" Demon said. "I could have siphoned her but even if I did, she was ready to go home" Violet said.

"I know" Damon said and Violet gave him a half smile. "Get back to bed get some rest I just need a minute" Damon said. "Okay" Violet said and left.
