Jude's Pov

If I stop to dwell for even a fraction of a second my face is wet with tears. They roll silently into my cracked lips, salty and cold. It's a cruelty that the sun continues to go down, ignoring that Corinthia isn't beside me, laughing loudly or even making grumpy complaints or adding in sarcastic commentary. I want to hear her snort at something stupid I said or express how excited she is for the next mission.

I still feel her heart beating somewhere in the galaxy but I can't reach her, no matter how hard I focus. As I lay here, wounded and lifeless, all I can think about is her.

Queen Nalani is beside me but she is fast asleep. For a queen, she wasn't picky. She took the sickbay bed with ease and didn't have a problem with the annoying vents or echoing yells from injured patients. She does her job well and her heart is pure, no wonder people compare her to my great grandmother.

My eyelids are heavy with sleep but I don't want to fall asleep knowing that Corinthia could be killed at any moment. I drifted into consciousness and then back out. The world was a blur, and random images seemed to float aimlessly around in the pool of my thoughts, as though they were being blown about viciously by a hurricane.

A tap on my shoulder momentarily brought me back to the outside world, but after a second I was once again lost. I could feel somebody trying to look at me, staring dead in the eye, but I couldn't keep focus. My eyes finally shut for the final time and I was lost in a metrical oblivion.

I woke up in a grassy meadow dotted by petite, fragrant flower. Their sunshiny centers grinned at me while a soft breeze ruffled the rainbow petals. In awe, I turned around and saw little pink butterflies lazily flitting around the dark green grass and dipping their tiny wings away from human contact. The sky was a pale blue and with a sigh, I stared upwards as the sun basked my face in it's homely rays of gold.

"Jude..." She whispered, bringing me out of my daze. I look over at Bellamy, dressed in a white dress that covered her barefooted feet.

"Bell?" I question, taking a step towards her but I realize I can't move. My sister, her shiny raven hair, her freckles, her alluring brown eyes, her strong, athletic build, so much like our mothers- was standing right in front of me. "Bellamy?" Her eyes met mine and for awhile, we just stare at each other.

In the shimmering sun came three figures, each becoming more transparent than the other. It was if I was passing through an icy shower or as if I had every warm feeling and thought sucked out of me. It was Bellamy, my mother and I from years ago. I was back home on Naboo.

When my mother finally stopped walking away from us, she halted like there's something wrong, like something is out of sync. I try to move my legs but they are stuck in place. When she turns and smiles, all ideas of something wrong disappeared, she was simply beautiful. "Bellamy, Jude, don't wander too far please!" She yells after the ghosts of Bellamy and I from years ago.

I look over at Bellamy and her mouth is in the form of a giant circle. It looks as if she wasn't breathing, she wasn't moving at all. Our mother turns her back to us once more and I swear I felt something inside of me snap.

She wasn't a girl anymore and she never would be again. She was a mother to us but also one of the strongest Jedi's ever. Now her hobbies and strengths had to change because she had to raise us. How long ago could this have been? Was I five? Six?

"Mother?" Bellamy gulped beside me and I heard the pain in her voice. "Elara Jane?"

Our mother was just a mere vision from our imagination. She couldn't hear us and she wouldn't be there when we woke up in two different places. Elara Jane was everything somebody hoped to be.

"Momma! Momma! Bellamy cut her knee!" My younger self called from afar and she jumped to her feet in seconds, running down a small hill in seconds.

I watched from my spot, completely shocked. Bellamy was crying because her knee was bleeding and I was holding her hand. "Don't worry Bell, I won't let anything else happen to you."

I looked back at the Bellamy who went by a different name, watching the scene intensly. Our mother pressed a kiss to both of our heads and took care of the injury. "Thank goodness Jude was there to save you!"

Dressed in white satin, Bellamy looked back at me the first time since this began. "Wake up."

"What?"

"Wake up!" She said again. "I can't take this anymore!"

Younger Bellamy smiled and wrapped her small, pudgy arm around my scrawny neck. The world around me swirled around and even though I knew I was dreaming, I still wished I wasn't. Either way, our dream was linked because she was thinking about me. Bellamy Solo could still be saved!
