Seek the kingdom of God
Day Twelve
What you should be thinking about is God's kingdom. Then he will give you all these other things you need.
Luke 12:31 ERV
The kingdom of God is a realm where King Jesus resides. In God's kingdom, things are done differently from the way things are done on Earth.
Jesus wants us to be aware of His Kingdom. When we are more of aware of the kingdom of God, we won't allow earthly things to govern our lives.
In God's kingdom, what we eat and drink is not important. Here is what is important: a right way of life, peace, and joy—all from the Holy Spirit.
Romans 14:17 ERV
In the kingdom of God, we are more aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to live righteously. He gives us peace. The Holy Spirit also gives us joy.
"I leave you peace. It is my own peace I give you. I give you peace in a different way than the world does. So don't be troubled. Don't be afraid.
John 14:27 ERV
The peace Jesus was describing above, is the very peace we receive from having the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Jesus teaches us to seek the Kingdom of God above all things.
There are many things can cause the Holy Spirit from manifesting Himself in our lives. But one thing is sure, when we seek the Kingdom of God, we make room for Him.
We can live in this world and not be apart of it. It's very possible. That's why its very important to have the Holy Spirit living in us. He needs to be active in our very lives. Without His presence, its very hard to live here on Earth without falling prey to the deceptions of the enemy.
With the help that comes from the Holy Spirit, we are then able to live on Earth with a mind that thinks about the kingdom of God.Everyday, spend time in Fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Let Him reveal Jesus to you.
But the Helper will teach you everything and cause you to remember all that I told you. This Helper is the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name.
John 14:26 ERV
The Holy Spirit helps us to keep all the things that Jesus teaches us. Without the Holy Spirit, really, we cannot function in the way we ought to as believers.
What does Jesus teach? Jesus teaches us to seek His kingdom. When we embrace the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives, then we've allowed Him to teach us Kingdom keys while living on Earth.
Prayer : May the Lord answer you in times of trouble. May the God of Jacob protect you. May he send you help from his Temple and support you from Mount Zion. May he remember all your offerings and accept all your sacrifices. Selah May he give you what you want and make all your plans succeed, and we will shout for joy when you succeed, and we will raise a flag in the name of our God. May the Lord give you all that you ask for.
Psalms 20:1-5 NCV
In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen
