Day Eleven 

As Jesus was saying these things, a woman with the people there called out to him, "Blessings from God belong to the woman who gave birth to you and fed you!" But Jesus said, "The people who hear the teaching of God and obey it—they are the ones who have God's blessing."
Luke 11:27-28 ERV

 When we obey the word of God, we manifest the presence of God in our lives.
 There is no obedient person in the Bible that wasn't close to God. Disobedience changes the fellowship one has with God.

 But Samuel answered, "Which pleases the Lord more: burnt offerings and sacrifices or obeying his commands? It is better to obey the Lord than to offer sacrifices to him. It is better to listen to him than to offer the fat from rams.

1 Samuel 15:22 ERV

There's no sacrifice that will be better than obeying God. It doesn't matter if what God says feels or looks ridiculous. By obeying God, we show we Truly love Him.

 "If you love me, you will do what I command.

John 14:15 ERV

How else do we show our love to someone? God's word is very important. When we learn to obey God, our relationship with Him becomes more intimate.

Jesus answered, "All who love me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them. My Father and I will come to them and live with them.
John 14:23 ERV

When we become obedient sons and daughters of God, He manifests Himself to us. And He loves us.
 Always remember that you are not from the Earth. If you are not of this world, then it means you are of the kingdom of God.

 In the kingdom of God, we are taught to obey God's word. And we do what He says.

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
Philippians 3:20 NKJV

Our citizenship is in Heaven.

Prayer:  In the name of Jesus, Glorious Father we thankyou. We honor your name. We acknowledge your presence in our lives. May youhelp to obey your word. May you manifest yourself to us as we live in obedienceto your word. In the name of Jesus Christ. We pray. Amen.
