Day Twenty-Four

I will send you what my Father has promised, but you must stay in Jerusalem until you have received that power from heaven.”

It is the Holy Spirit who empowers us to do great things for God. The acts of the Apostles were really the acts of the Holy Spirit.

Without the power of the Hole Spirit, we are just ordinary human beings with great limitations. But with the help of Holy Spirit, we are empowered to do great things.

The disciples couldn't preach or do a single thing because they never had the presence of the Holy Spirit.

What we need is the presence of the Holy Spirit if we are gong to serve God. We shouldn't even try serving God without the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the ability of God. Without the Holy Spirit, our lives lack power.

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”

The bible says, "but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high"

We need to be clothed with the Holy Spirit if we are going to anything worthwhile. Studying the bible with the presence of the Holy Spirit, is different from the studying the bible without His help.

Until we are endued with the power of the Holy Ghost, we are limited and can only do things in the most human way possible.
