Then Satan began to live inside Judas Iscariot. Judas was one of Jesus' 12 apostles .

Friends, the enemy is real and he doesn't play games at all. Most times, people want to ignore the enemy, for many reasons. However, in order to defeat an enemy, we need to know what he is all about. Otherwise, you wouldn't know what's fighting you.

Let's read the Scripture together. The bible says, "Then satan began to live inside Judas Iscariot."

Judas wouldn't have betrayed Jesus If he hadn't allowed the devil into his life. Every part of our lives that we give to the enemy is a part we cannot control.

Think about It about this way: I live in an apartment. I rent the place, its not my house. I just rent it. If you had a chance of visiting me, you'd notice how the things are.
Even though I found it furnished, I changed everything that's inside to suit my personality. Its not my house, but for as long as I'll be living here, I can do whatever I want with the furniture. My Landlord doesn't tell me when to watch television or in which position my couch should face.

 If you get the picture I'm trying to paint, God bless you. But I'll explain further.
 A lot of us might be born again but have allowed the enemy access to our lives. Remember, the area of your life you give to the enemy, is an area you have no control over.
When I watch television, my landlord doesn't doesn't choose which programs I'm supposed to watch.

Jesus is our landlord. He has ownership over us, as long as we are born again. But we choose what to do with our lives.
 If you give the enemy access, he'll destroy you. What happened to Judas? It took just one moment with the enemy to change the destiny of Judas.

"Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"

The word subtil means crafty, or deceptive. The enemy uses deception to gain over the lives of many Christians.
 We should know that our lives belong to Jesus. And everyday, we need to live our lives in the way that pleases Him.

Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.
1 John 2:6 NLT

If we say we live in God, we should live out lives as Jesus did. Jesus always prayed, through prayer He remained in the will of the Father.
The only way to live above the traps and deceptions of the enemy is to follow Jesus. If we follow Jesus, nothing can deceive us.

Prayer:  In the name of Jesus Christ, Glorious Father we thank you. We bless your name. Lord help us to be more aware of our choices. Give us the desire to live for you and you alone. We come against any plans of the enemy over our lives in the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
