Anakin's/Vader's POV
I groaned in annoyance as I stared at.. nothing, "Where the fuck is the ship?" I turned my head to glare down at Master Yoda who lifted his cane and hit me belligerently in the leg, "Ow what the fuck was that for?" He raised it again and I waved my hand; using the force to throw his deadly weapon in the swamp, "Stop!" I shouted in irritation and confusion.

He huffed at me, "Language." He raised his hand to call the cane out of the water and back into his hand; he swiftly began to clean the swamp water from it with his cloak.

"Sorry that my language is the last thing I'm concerned about," I rolled my eyes and turned my attention back to where he claimed his ship was supposed to be, "So mind explaining to me where your ship is?"

He shrugged, "Here it was."

"Maybe it fell in the swamp." Obi-Wan popped up next to me; giving me a heart attack.

I jumped from his sudden appearance and groaned, "Announce yourself before you fucking do that." I complained and I saw Yoda raise his cane with the corner of my eye; I quickly turned and pointed at him, "Hit me again and I swear, I'll step on you." I threatened and he lowered his hand.

Smart choice old man.

I turned back to the swamp and lifted my hand up, "Let's see then." I closed my eyes and used the force to search the waters for the ship, to my relief, I found it easily. I slowly began to lift it, not wanting to go too fast and risk it getting damaged by the rocks and debris that was underneath as well.

"She's okay by the way," Obi-Wan spoke to me as the ship began pulling from the water, he had left not long ago to go check on her for me, "She just got back from the market and her and Ellie were about to leave to go some meadow."

My eyes shot open; forcing me to lose my concentration and the ship began to descend once more. Luckily Master Yoda picked up my slack and lifted it up himself. I turned to Obi-Wan with wide eyes, "Did you just say a meadow?"

Dream Flashback
I was in an unfamiliar field that was surrounded by grass, flowers, and waterfalls.

"Where are you?!" I shouted as I spun around in circles, gripping my hair tightly as my heart pounded against my chest. I walked forward and tripped over something, causing me to fall roughly to the ground. I sat up and looked at what I tripped over and my heart stopped, "No, not my baby. No please no." I began to sob as I grabbed onto her, she felt as cold as ice, I lifted her up so her head sat on my lap. I tilted her head so I could look at her face and my heart broke at the sight of her lifeless eyes.
Flashback ends

I began to hyperventilate, my nightmare; I found her body in a meadow, "Anakin what's wrong?"

"I had a nightmare where she died in a meadow." I spoke low as I rushed to the ship, I needed to get to Naboo, and fast. I almost slipped as I got inside, but I held my balance up as I made my way to the controls, "Can you get back to her?" I asked him once both him and Yoda were in the ship with me.

"I can try, but if they already left I might have a hard time finding them. I'm not able to sense her like you can, but I'll look until I find her I promise." He assured me before he disappeared, I took a deep breathe as I tightened my grip on the dashboard.

"Calm you must remain, lose control you can not." Yoda placed his clawed hand on mine and I nodded as a tear fell from my eye. I appreciated his comfort, it certainly isn't something I deserve after I murdered every person he's ever known and tried to murder him on a few occasions.

Water under the bridge..

"Thank you," I wiped under my eyes before fiddling with a few of the buttons in front of me to start the ship, "I need a way to call them, maybe if I can warn Piett they can get out before something happens."

Master Yoda nodded as he began fixing the holographic communicator for me, "Work it should. The damage, minimal it was." He assured me and I began placing a call to Piett.

Piett s POV
I yawned as I stood up from the couch and held my hand to my head to stop the dizzy feeling that was taking over me, "Fuck." I groaned as I grabbed the cup of juice that Ellie had given me earlier, if I didn't know any better I'd say she put something in it to knock me out; I don't even remember falling asleep. I glanced outside to see it was still daytime, well I shouldn't have been asleep for too long then.

I went straight to the fridge and noticed a note, I pulled it off the fridge and recognized it to be (y/n)'s handwriting.

Ellie and I are going out, be back soon.<3
Be ready to apologize for whatever you did to Elle..

I furrowed my brows as I tossed the paper in the trash, did I do something wrong? I thought back on our day and I can't think of a single thing that I may have done to upset my girlfriend.

I sighed as I pushed it away from my mind and I was about to open the fridge when I heard the communicator given to me by Anakin go off; the very one he said was only meant for emergencies.

I rushed to it and his holographic image appeared in my palm; he spoke quickly before I could greet him, "Piett, did (y/n) or Ellie tell you exactly where they were going?" The urgency in his voice was making me get a nervous chill. And how did he even know they were gone-oh it doesn't matter, he always has a way of knowing things.

I shook my head slowly, "No, all they left was a not-"

"I'm back!" I heard the sound of my girlfriend coming through the front door and I let out a sigh of relief knowing they were about to be back in my sights.

"Never mind they're here now," I assured him as I looked around the corner to try and get a glimpse of them, but all I could hear was the sound of them going through bags, "What's going on?"I asked him as I drew my eyesight back to his scared blue eyes.

"I have a gut feeling that Naboo isn't safe anymore, do you think you can get the girls and the droids on the ship? I need you to get to Dagobah."

I nodded with a disgusted look on my face, "Yeah, but why that dump?"

"Dump it is not!" I heard an unfamiliar voice shout through the hologram; causing Anakin to roll his eyes heavily.

"Ignore him, he's an old grump." He side eyed something that wasn't in my view before looking back to me, "I need you all to leave now." He demanded in a familiar authoritative tone that brings up old memories, memories that only made me smile. Oh how far our friendship has come, never did I think I would love Darth Vader like a brother, but here we are.

I nodded obediently, "I'll round them up, do you want to talk to her first?" I asked as I stood up.

He smiled with a hint of excitement in his eyes and nodded eagerly, "Is that even a question?"

I was about to walk to the kitchen, until Ellie popped up from around the corner and saw Anakin in the palm of my hand, "Hi Anakin!" She greeted him in her normal cheery voice that made my heart flutter, this woman was so perfect, "How's that suicide mission going?"

He shrugged, "Well the Death Star has been taken care of, but there's still one other thing on my list."

She smiled, "Nice, I'm sure (y/n) is gonna be excited to hear from you, she hasn't shut up about you since you left," She glanced up to me, "Is she in the bathroom?"

I furrowed my brows, "I don't know, didn't you just walk back in with her?"

She slowly shook her head, "No, I've been at the shops for the past two hours, I left her here with you."

Now I shook my head, my anxiety heightening to an inhuman level, "She left a note saying you guys were leaving together somewhere."

"I haven't gone anywhere with her, I haven't seen her since she left on her quest for pudding." Her face began to twist into one of worry when she noticed how panicked I began to look.

Oh fuck we lost his wife.

"Where. Is. My. Wife?" He spoke each word through gritted teeth and for the first time in months, I felt fear creep into my body by just his tone alone. I was also worried for the well-being of my best friend, I'd never forgive myself if something happened to her, and I know Ellie wouldn't either.

We both looked to him to see his terrified and also furious expression. I swallowed nervously, "We don't know."

(y/n)'s POV
I stretched as I stood up from the floor to glance down at Ellie, "We should probably head back." Although I didn't actually want to, this place was beyond beautiful. I've only ever been here one other time with my Father when Noah and I were around eight years old. I'm definitely going to have to see if Ellie will want to come back tomorrow, I could sit here for hours.

She shook her head, "We're staying." She spoke in an almost demanding tone; making me narrow my eyes at her, she's never talked to me like that before.

I sat back down, "What's wrong with you today?" I asked in a concerned tone, she never even told me whatever happened with her and Piett. She's practically avoided almost every conversation I brought up. Whatever happened must have really upset her, "You know you can talk to me Ell-" I tried placing my hand on her shoulder, but she gripped my wrist to cut me off and squeezed it harshly.

I tugged at it to get it out of her grasp, but she never let go as she glared into my eyes with an emotionless expression, "Don't touch me." She pushed my own hand aggressively into my chest; making me fall back onto the grass. Why is she acting like this?

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I tried standing up to get away from her, but she grabbed my ankle and pulled on me; causing me to fall once more.

That's when as shadow came over me and I looked up to the sky to see a republican ship descending near us. The first place my mind went to was Anakin, he always had a way of showing up when I need him the most.

I glanced down to Ellie, only to not see Ellie anymore, but someone completely different. I glared disgustingly at their green frog-like appearance, "Who the fuck are you?" My stomach dropped when I realized just how bad of a position I was in right now.

They smiled, "You're about to make me rich."

I heard the sound of the ramp to the ship lowering and I instantly jumped up to run, praying that it is him.

I was given a sense of hope when I saw a black hooded figure walking down the ramp, but all hope had completely escaped my body and I was overcome with dread when I realized.. this wasn't Anakin.

Anakin's/Vader's POV
I had told Ellie about (y/n) going to the meadows and she gave me the location of the only place here on Naboo she could think of that was in walking distance of the cabin.

She better be here, I have yet to hear from Obi-Wan or even Ahsoka which only made me more nervous.

I pulled the ship to the location and rushed to get out so I could check the area for her, I couldn't see her or feel her, I was praying it was because of that fucking crystal on her or something.

I was beyond terrified in this moment, I was terrified that I was going to find a body.

My nightmare was playing in my mind on repeat, making every minute that that I don't have her in my arms more and more agonizing.

I ran off of the ramp, leaving Yoda behind, he was too slow, and searched the area, "(y/n)!" I called her name a hundred times as I ran across the entire meadow; checking the grass for a body.. checking the water in case she was swimming, but I couldn't find her, "Fuck!" I shouted as I walked backwards and tripped; falling roughly on my back.

I sat up and I went completely numb, almost like everything in my body decided to shut down to shield me from the agony of my shattered heart.

I was staring at what had caused me to fall.

And all I could see was the familiar sight of her cold, lifeless eyes.
