48-Twelve Bantha Biscuits

(a/n I just want to say that the building this chapter takes place in, does not exist. I completely made it up for the sake of this story. So don't go fact checking me lol)

Anakin's/Vader's POV
I slowly opened my eyes, only to close them instantly when the bright white light burned my irises.

What the hell happened? I groaned as I brought my hand to my head that was pounding. A type of headache that felt all too familiar. That's when it hit me. I shot up from the bed I was in when the events that took place came flooding back and the first thought in my head was my wife, "(y/n)!" I called her name as my eyes flickered around the room in a panic; it was pure white, almost like a hospital room, there was a metal door opposite of me that looked like it only opened on the outside, and next to it was a thick glass that separated me and the figure on the other side of it, "Obi-Wan." I growled as I stood up from the bed and that's when I felt the heavy weight on my neck.

No, not this again.

I gripped the restraint collar and instantly felt dread. I was powerless and locked inside of a room, again. Because of him. I glanced back up at him. He was watching me with sad eyes and I was watching him with hateful ones, "Again; Seriosuly?" I stepped forward until I was in front of him and banged roughly on the glass, he didn't even flinch.

He sighed, "I'm sorry Anakin but-"

"Shut the fuck up," I cut him off, I didn't want to hear his sorry excuse of an apology, "Where is (y/n)?" I questioned with venom in my tone as I hit against the glass again, "If you've done anything to her, I swear to the gods I'll-"

"She's fine." He cut me off before I could finish my threat, "Shes with Master Yoda and as long we can remain civilized, she will stay being fine."

I narrowed my eyes at him, "Civilized?" I huffed in disbelief as I pointed to my force restraint collar, "You call this, civilized?"

He held up the key, "I'm going to come in there and remove it."

I backed away slightly and eyed him curiously, "And who's to say I won't kill you the second that you do."

He sighed again as he looked away from me and rubbed his temple, "Because if you do," He looked back up to me as he dropped his hand, "You'll never see her again."

The rage in me built up and I hit the glass with my metal arm, "Did I not warn you that day on Alderaan to never go near her again; do you have a death wish or something?" I glared angrily at him, how dare he come and ruin the best day of my life. And how dare he use my wife against me.

He nodded, "Maybe, but you're gonna wanna hear what we have to say."

I looked around the hallway he was currently in but didn't see anyone else but him, "Who's we?"

"I'll get to that, but first," He walked out of my view and the door to my right opened. He walked inside and closed the door behind him, "Let me get that off of you." I didn't say anything as he slowly walked towards me and pressed the key into the lock, I stared down at him the entire time. Hoping he could feel my loathing towards him. I heard a click and the collar came off. I gripped it before he could and threw it aggressively against the wall where it broke into multiple pieces, "List-" I cut him off when I wrapped my hand around his neck and shoved him up against the wall.

"Where is she?" I growled as I squeezed his neck.

His face was becoming red, but he was trying to remain calm even though he was losing oxygen, "Kill me," He choked out, "And you'll never find out."

"Or I can pull it out." I placed my hand on his head but he held up a block that kept me from getting into his mind. I snarled as I threw him to the side where he began coughing and breathing heavily, "Why can't you just leave me alone Obi-Wan; haven't you done enough?" I turned away from him and went for the door. I didn't need him to find her.

I tried opening the door with the force but nothing was working, "Our abilities don't work like that here," I heard him stand up, "This place was the original citadel during the old republic, but was abandoned when the new one was constructed on Lola Sayu." He informed me and I turned around to glare at him, "This room is built to keep people like us inside."

I snorted through my nose as I turned around to face him fully, "So then what was the point of the collar; for old times sake?" I snapped as I balled my hands into fists.

He shook his head, "I didn't put that on you, Master Yoda did. He thought it was necessary for my safety, but I needed it removed so you can be connected to the force. It's not like our abilities don't work inside of here, they do, but they're dampened. And nothing you do will work on the doors or windows, they're made with special force resisting material."

"Oh; so I can still do this?" I raised my hand and used the force to lift him off of the floor by his neck and threw him roughly against the wall. He grunted on impact and fell to the white marble floor with a loud thud.

"Okay I deserved that," He groaned after having the wind knocked out of him as he pushed himself off of the floor, "But, please just listen to what I have to say and I promise I'll take you to her, she is completely safe and unharmed."

"Just keep your distance," I can't promise I'll be able to control myself if he gets close to me, I'm already having a hard time not breaking his neck. The fact that he has (y/n) somewhere is the only reason I haven't.

He nodded, taking a few steps back, "First, I wanted to say how sorry I am for not being there for you," I rolled my eyes in response as I crossed my arms over my chest, "I know it doesn't change anything, but I only agreed with it because I was afraid of the emotions I felt coming from you. I was worried I was going to lose you to something dark."

I chuckled with no humor, "How funny; your actions are what caused you to lose me anyway," I turned so I didn't have to look at him and peered out of the glass that led into the hallway, "I hope you're not expecting any type of forgiveness from me. I've lost the ability to forgive you a long time ago. I needed you, but you weren't there. Not once," I growled as I turned back around to glare at him, "Not even once did you come to see me, you left me there all alone."

"I tried to-"

"I don't believe you." I shook my head as I began to feel a tightening feeling in my chest, "I don't believe anything you say. I loved you and I trusted you," I shrugged, "But you turned your back on me, so if bringing me here was your way of trying to fix me, or this," I gestured between him and I, "Save it and just give (y/n) back to me before I break your fucking neck."

He sighed as he looked to the floor, "Please Anakin, I'm so sorr-"

"I have a question for you," I cut him off once more, this is something I've always wanted to know, "Did you hear me?" I asked as I took a step towards him.

He gave me a confused look, "What do you mean?"

"That week that I was locked down there," I took another step and he eyed my movements, "Where I begged and cried for you," I pointed to him, "Did you hear me?" I asked again but this time my voice was low, I could feel my eyes watering as I relived the memory.

He hesitated to answer for a moment, he looked to his left and stared into nothing before nodding and facing me, "I did hear you." He admitted and that's when I felt a single tear fall down. I guess I had hoped that he didn't, this somehow, makes it worse.

I shook my head as I looked down to the floor, I didn't want him to see the water in my eyes, "And you expect me to forgive you?" I gave off a single dry chuckle, "I'll never forgive you."

"I understand that nothing will ever return to how it used to be," He spoke but I still didn't look up to him, "But wanting your forgiveness is not the main reason I brought you here," He sighed, "I thought you deserved to know that it was Palpatine who killed Ahsoka."

I shot my eyes up at him, "You're lying." I growled. It was Palpatine who has been there for me through everything, he-he wouldn't have done that. He saved me, I refuse to believe that.

He shook his head, "I'm not lying, she told me."

I laughed in response, "Like I would believe that. In case you forgot, she's dead, the dead don't talk."

"Open yourself up Anakin," He instructed and I narrowed my eyes at him, "Shes here, now. Trying to talk to you, but you have yourself closed off."

I shook my head, "No, you're fucking lying, you're just trying to manipulate me and I won't let you!" I shouted in anger. He uses my wife against me and now he's using my dead Padawan, he is unbelievable.

He looked to his left again before turning back to me, "Twelve bantha biscuits."

"What?"

"That's how much you still owe her, twelve bantha biscuits." He spoke and for a moment I almost believed him.

"She could have easily told you that before she died." I shook my head still refusing to believe that I've been lied to for the past, almost four years of my life. He sighed as he turned his head to the left again, "What the fuck do you keep looking at?" I snapped and he held his hand up to me to silence me. Did he just- he's lucky I don't break it right now.

"If I'm lying," He turned back to me, "Then how do I know that you just lost a baby," My stomach dropped at his words and I froze in place, "Or that you just got married today, congratulations by the way."

He could have easily been following me today, but that doesn't explain how he knows about the baby.

"Or that the first time you told (y/n) you love her was after she almost died in a crash on Hoth."

"Stop." How can he know this? No, it can't be true.

"Or how about losing your virginity on Kashyyyk, she walked in and now she's traumatized by the way." He gave off a small laugh and my eyes slightly widened, there's no way he can know these things, especially the last two, only (y/n) and I know.

"How do you know all of this?" I asked through gritted teeth.

He stepped closer to me and I gave him a threatening look to keep his distance, "Shes telling me all of this right now Anakin, reconnect to that side of the Force and you can talk to her too. You may not believe me, but you have to believe her."

I looked into the direction where he kept looking and did as he said, I lifted up my barriers and a blue light began to appear. I stepped back with wide eyes when she finally came into view, "Hey Skyguy."

"Snips?"

(a/n cliff hanger again because I suck ♥️)
