16: Lukas
April, 2019
Nails dug into my back as she gasped her delight into my ear. Lips lightly brushing across her cheek, along her jaw, down her neck, I continued to thrust into her until her screams got louder.
Body shaking against mine as she constricted around me, I brought myself to an almost stop as the need to release began to build.
As I slowly moved myself against her again, her hands came around, moving my face until my forehead was resting against hers. "Come for me," she breathed.
"I've told you many times... I won't until you have enough enjoyment."
"I'm a melting heap here, Lukas. You've turned me inside out at least five times now."
"Let's go for three more."
She opened her mouth to retort, but I started to hurriedly thrust her again. At once, all words were lost as her back arched and her fingers clutched at my hair.
Heads still pressed together, my gaze locked on her as her eyes started to roll back into her head. Our panting became one. Splotches of red showered her body. Sweat started to bead over the both of us.
Legs clenching around me, she released another moan as I felt her get tighter and wetter yet again.
Slowing down just in time before I, too, exploded, I pressed my lips all over her face and body—avoiding the one spot I could no longer touch.
"Lukas," she whined, voice shaky.
Tongue now working over her nipple, I mumbled back, "Two more. Just two more."
"I'm going to break... There's going to be nothing left of me."
Gazing up at her through my lashes, I purred, "I'm sure there will still be plenty of you." Lips slowly working back up to her cheek, I then breathed in her ear, "Do you really want me to stop or—"
"I want you to keep going and never stop," she groaned in my ear. "Never, ever, until I'm just a puddle."
"Or," I breathed, "Until you've made one."
I heard her breath suck in as she went to respond again, but, not wanting her to have the last word, I started to pound her once more.
Head tilting back, her hands gripped at whatever of me she could as her mouth popped open in a silent scream. Though after endless thrusting, eventually the animal in her unleashed as she roared her delight for the whole house to hear.
But I didn't care.
As I continued to ravage her body, all I kept wanting was for her to let me know just how much I was bringing her delight. Just how much I made her feel.
"Now," she breathed as I had slowed yet again, "Now you will come for me?"
Brushing my mouth along her jaw, tongue lapsing around her ear, I breathed into her shivering neck, "Is that what you want?"
"I told you, what I want is for it to never finish."
"But I can't last forever."
She heaved a groan and yanked my head back so that I was looking at her. Hand gently resting on my cheek, her thumb traced over my bottom lip. "I miss kissing you."
"There are many other places I can still kiss you," I smirked back.
With a roll of her eyes, her hands clenched more tightly around me. "You will not go anywhere else than between my legs until you've finished."
"Where do you want me to..."
"In me," she whispered. "I've already got my potions from Erica for the month."
"Please, please, do not bring her up when I'm in you."
A giggle escaped her mouth as she batted her long lashes over her russet gaze. "Make me shut up then."
And that was all it took. Hands grabbing her wrists, I pinned her arms above her head, as she liked it. Then I continued to move in her, until she was writhing again, back arching upwards, legs trembling with pleasure, mouth telling me just how good it felt and how I should 'not stop'.
The blood rushed out of my head as she continued to tighten around me.
The build up was dying to release.
And as I gave her my last few pounds I had left, eventually I spilled into her, coming to a slow as I heaved my own gasps of delight and pleasure. "Oh, Emma," I rumbled into her ear before pressing unending kisses over every bit of flesh near me as my body continued to let out aftershocks of release.
All the while, her legs lowered around me, fingers tracing up and down my spine. "One thing to add to my pro list of cementing a bond with you would be great sex for the rest of my life."
I breathed a chuckle with as much oxygen my lungs had left—which was next to none—before I sighed into her.
Arms winding around me, she held me close, her head nuzzling into my neck for a moment. Then she whispered, "Now I need you to roll off me before you suffocate me."
Reluctantly, I shimmied off her onto my side—but not without taking her with me. Arms sliding around her, I pulled her naked body against mine before freeing a hand and flicking some magic at the blanket so that it would cover us. "Is that the only attribute I have going for me," I eventually asked as the blood started to return to my head.
"I mean, you have a handful... but it's certainly at the top."
Shimmying back in the bed, I took a moment to glare at her—though not without checking her face for jest.
But she merely stared back at me longingly, as her eyes caressed my soul and heart, and her hand reached up to smooth out whatever worry lines that had worked their way into my forehead.
"Though I'm sure," she went on, evil smirk working its way onto her face before she'd even finished speaking, "that the sex is the only reason my heart opened to the invitation."
"Really?" I deadpanned. "Only the sex?"
Leaning closer—so that our mouths were only a breath apart and the string burned ferociously around in my chest, begging me to close the gap—she purred, "It's so fucking good."
A part of me felt like I should start second-guessing her intentions in this all because her words certainly didn't match what I wanted her to be feeling. But the smile on her face and the doting in her eyes gnawed at the doubt before it could even fester, reminding me that all of her intentions with me were pure and would always be. That I had found the perfect woman for me... So I hoped.
But then she said, "Do you feel better now?"
"Better?" I repeated, shifting back as I began to stroke her face now. "What do you mean?"
She gave me a small shrug. "You've been off since dinner. Figured a good fuck might get it out."
Lips pressing together, I said, "Why didn't you ask me before?"
"Because then there'd be a whole chat thing and it might kill any mood... And this is what you and I do. Get our emotions out physically before we do it emotionally. That way we feel closer."
My face softened slightly as I wondered if this was really what I wanted. As much as I enjoyed it... did I like that she knew something was off and only waited until now to press?
"Talk to me," she urged, giving me a slight squeeze.
"It's... not much. I met with Erica for lunch."
Heaving a sigh, she said, "Did you two fight about the vampire plan again?"
"Of course. Among... other things."
"What other things?"
A part of me felt hesitant to tell her all of it. Because, while we may have started our affair with Emma letting me tell her about her, four months on, bringing up her name felt wrong. So ignoring the main part that was eating me up about Erica's intentions to bring another fairy into the mix, I said instead, "Stephen called me today."
"He did?"
"Erica justified his lack of contact, too, and... I don't know. I guess I just wanted her to take my side a little."
She nodded slowly as she mulled my words. "He was always supposedly a father to you... but then disappeared once his son did."
"She said he was grieving—"
"But to the point he ignores the other son?"
"Yeah," I whispered.
"Well... maybe Erica was right. But it doesn't justify it, Lukas. She should acknowledge that you are hurting too."
"Thanks," I mumbled, still not feeling quite at ease though.
"What did he want?"
"To... meet."
"Meet?"
"Yeah. He's going to be in London at the end of the week."
"Oh. What does he want?"
"He said we can't talk about it over the phone?"
Lips pressing together, she said, "Maybe he has an antidote for the mades? Or some strategies at least?"
"Maybe... but why now? They've been killing since they escaped in August."
"Who knows. I guess you will find out eventually though."
"Yeah," I breathed, eyes drooping down.
But Emma merely gave me another squeeze. "You can vent it all to me after and even practise with me whatever you think you want to say to him when you do meet him."
Corner of my mouth turning up, I quickly pressed my lips to her nose before I said, "How'd you know I'd be worrying about that?"
"Because... I know you, silly. And I get you."
"That you do."
For a while, we simply laid like that, heads close, gazes staring at each other with adoration. But then a cloud seemed to start crossing over Emma's face.
"What's wrong?" I pressed this time.
"Now that we have an invitation... You know it means you can bite me without dying, right?"
Smile dropping, I gave her a brief nod. I hadn't actually thought about since the invitation formed a few days ago, but she certainly wouldn't be able to hurt me now if I did—
"I want you to know that, even if you can now, I don't ever want you to."
I'd be lying if I said a small part of me didn't sink at those words. While, up to this point, I hadn't even thought about it, hearing her say she still didn't want it even if it was safe for me... felt like a blow. Nonetheless, "That's okay. It's your body and your blood. I get enough from the pills."
"Thanks," she whispered, though her face was a little hesitant. "It's just... I'm into a bit of bondage and stuff as you know... but the vampirism is just not for me."
"You don't have to explain," I replied, hand coming up to stroke her cheek again. "I get it. And it's perfectly okay."
"Yeah?" she breathed.
And I nodded. Though a part of me did wonder... what would a life with a partner be like if I could never please her in a way a part of me needed and desired? I had bitten Anja many times in the month we were together. Erica most certainly had felt the pleasure of my bite when we were dating and even when we weren't. And while she and I never reached that point, there was still a promise and invitation for it... for when we'd get back together.
I respected Emma's lack of consent for it.
But a part of me felt a little empty... like a part of me, of who I am, was still rejected by her. Like being a vampire was disgraceful to her.
Though just like every time these feelings of doubt swamped me, I buried it down, leaving it to be felt another day.
