You were walking
in the hospital when
he went to bring
his grandma flowers.

He froze,
not knowing what
to do as he saw you
walk into his
grandmother's room.

He noticed
how much paler
you were looking
and wondered if it
was because of him
that you're sad.

You walked out
and back into the elevator
without seeing him.
