the dinner table was filled with a bunch of henry's. everyone except for oliver and alexandra were dreading the dinner. alexandra got seated beside felix. the two of them seemed to be doing good as they were laughing and talking throughout the whole dinner.

oliver was conversating with lady daphne then with venetia. from alexandra's perspective, she seemed to be disappointed about something but she returned her focus back to the lady next to felix. they were on good terms after the night that he kissed her.

he just needed to get away from her for a second to.... relieve his stress but he wasn't upset with her at all. he felt bad for making a move on her so quickly. felix doesn't want to treat her like some girl that he just sleeps with then ghosts. she is much more special than that and she means a lot to him.

"this dinner is so fucking boring." farleigh announced making felix and alexandra shoot him a look. alexandra quickly shushed him

he raised his eyebrows, "did i lie?" he asked making them both cover the mouths to contain from laughing. "my point has been made." he stated sarcastically

"he is a hot mess." alexandra stated. "and spoiled fucking rotten." felix added making her agree with him. farleigh just rolled his eyes before continuing to eat his food

alexandra sighed, "you okay?" felix asked. duncan came to pick up her now empty plate. she turned to look over at him, "thank you so much duncan." he nodded then fairly smiled before walking away

she was about to rub her eyes then realized she had black eyeliner on, she sighed, "i'm just exhausted." she stated

"from what, partying? having fun?" felix asked with furrowed eyebrows and a light frown 

alexandra slightly nodded, felix scoffed. "are you not having fun with us?" he asked offensively but made sure to be nice about it

"of course i am having fun with you guys. i just miss my aunt, that's all." she stated making his face quickly softened. he felt like an asshole

alexandra has never been away from her aunt donatella. she was always by her side even when she traveled for work, the longest they've been away from each other is two to three days at max. at first, when donatella would go travel for work, alexandra would be left with her nanny.

but she would have the worst kind of panic attacks. donatella quickly realized that her niece would need her more than ever especially after their loss. she didn't even hesitate to take alexandra with her everywhere after she had her first panic attack.

at first, it was hard for donatella to say yes for allowing alexandra to go stay with the catton's for the summer. but she immediately remembered that she would be safe and completely fine. donatella and elsbeth are thick as thieves and have been for a long time

elsbeth modeled for versace since the beginning and end of her modeling career. she had known gianna very well along with his sister. elsbeth was one of his main muses and was donatella's for a long time.

alexandra hadn't told her aunt about what had been going on with her. she doesn't plan to tell her until she gets back home.

"fuck, i'm sorry alex." he apologized sincerely

she quickly shrugged it off before taking a sip of her water, "it's fine, felix." she assured quickly

after dinner they were having a good time with playing karaoke. alexandra sat on a couch by herself watching as sir james's godson was singing the night away with the popular song low by flo rida. she couldn't help but to chuckle at how he was singing his heart out.

oliver quickly sat down beside her. "something seems to be bothering you, are you doing alright?" he asked

alexandra chuckled, "it's that obvious?"

he kissed his teeth, "aside from your signature pouty face, not at all." he assured with sarcasm making her laugh aloud. her smile made him chuckle.

she sighed, "it's nothing.." she bit her bottom lip before adjusting herself to face him. she laid her head onto the couch but made sure not to be in any position to where her legs or panties would be showing

"i miss my aunt. i'm just not used to being away from her for long periods of time." she vented but he could hear embarrassment coming from her voice which confused him

"you say that like it's embarrassing." he called out making her sigh. he laid back onto the couch. their faces were inches away from each other.

"i know it's not embarrassing but i feel like a child when i say it out loud." she admitted looking down at her freshly painted red nails

oliver kept his eyes onto her even when she looked away from him. "you technically are still a baby-" oliver began but she quickly cut him off

"i am not!!" she defended like a child. oliver held back from laughing at her cuteness, "compared to all of us you are." he finished making her playfully roll her eyes at him

"are you implying that i am..." she playfully hit him but he didn't budge, "childish?" she asked playfully

oliver smiled, "far from it." they both laughed at each other. venetia and felix watched them from across the room. both of them were curious. "alexandra!!" venetia called out making her turn around

"come here." she quickly mouthed making alex roll her eyes. "i'll be right back." she assured but oliver smiled, "go on. i understand." as soon as she got up and walked over to them farleigh randomly plopped himself onto the couch next to oliver not even realizing

alexandra quickly made her way over to the catton siblings. felix quickly grabbed her wrist pulling her into his chest immediately. she was taken back by the sudden energy. she chuckled, "what are you doing?"

felix immediately smothered his lips onto her cheek showering her with kisses making her laugh. venetia gagged at them. alex looked over at farleigh and oliver who seemed to finally be clicking. nobody else had seemed to care but she did. she was happy to witness it

but oliver had seen what happened when alexandra walked over to felix. a lump damn near formed in his throat making it feel dry and scratchy. it seemed like farleigh was finally coming around which made oliver feel like he could actually breathe for once.

farleigh then suddenly got up walking over to henry who was still singing. he quickly snatched the microphone out of his hand which took him by surprise but he immediately went to go sit by his wife who was relieved someone else finally took the spotlight

"alright everyone give him a round of applause. that was lovely but we are going to turn it up notch." farleigh said as he searched for a specific song, everyone began to cheer and clap. he then turned and looked at everyone.

"um, okay we have someone here who is a very talented singer. he's your best friend and mine, oliver quick." farleigh pointed to him make him look up at him as he sucked his straw. everyone clapped as farleigh went over to grab him, oliver had enough time to place his drink onto the capret

"no. no." oliver quietly pleaded. "yes, yes, don't be shy." farleigh insisted kindly. oliver began to  feel nervous, he looked over at alexandra who nodded and clapped. venetia and felix were also cheering him onto sing

oliver mentally panicked, "i don't know the song." sir james quickly smiled showing excitement, "the lyrics are on the screen oliver!! that's the best bit, that's the best bit!!"

"come on oliver, you got it!!" alexandra yelled as farleigh quickly yet playfully slapped him on the back leaving the microphone in his hands. oliver locked his eyes onto the screen starting to carefully sing the song. the nervousness was heard through his voice but he eventually started trying to have fun with it

he quickly turned around to see venetia, felix and alexandra dancing showing their full on support to him. alex quickly waved at him before he turned back around to look at the screen. everyone in the room was cheering him on.

farleigh was dancing to the rhythm of the music, then suddenly everyone had their jaws onto the floor. alexandra crossed her arms and quickly scoffed upon seeing the tv screen. venetia had covered mouth with both hands getting immediate second hand embarrassment. she tried not to laugh, felix slowly sat his drink down on the table.

oliver froze upon reading the lyrics which said, "i love you, you pay my rent" he then sang aloud causing farleigh to cheer him on, "whoo hoo!! you tell them!" he yelled

"farleigh." felix called his name out making him turn around with a cigarette in his right hand, he shrugged acting like he didn't do anything, "what?"

alexandra looked at him with pure disgust, "you are such an asshole." she muttered with disappointed taking farleigh by surprise along with felix and venetia.

it was a rare occasion to see her curse but when she did everyone knew that she was completely over the bullshit. "this is your song as well farleigh, come finish it." oliver stated in a calm way making him run over to him and take the microphone. "well if you insist." he began singing beautifully but alexandra could care less. as much as she loves farleigh, she was beginning to get sick of him and his one sided beef with oliver

after he was done singing, alexandra walked up to him grabbing him by his arm leading him away from everyone. they went out into the hallway, alexandra quickly shut the double wooden doors.

"what'd i do?" farleigh asked with dryness. "you have crossed the line with what you just did." alexandra warned with sadness, farleigh looked at her confused. he chuckled, "i'm having fun."

"it's fun what you just did?" she asked quickly hitting him in the arm. farleigh was not expecting to see alexandra get upset. it felt weird seeing her get heated because it is a rare experience

farleigh chuckled, "alex, i think you're overreacting." he stated trying to place his hands onto her shoulders but she quickly pushed his hands down away from her

"you just humiliated oliver!" alex yelled out

farleigh rolled his eyes, "for fucks sake, it was just a song." alexandra began to get glossy filled eyes as she sighed becoming angry with him, "but it wasn't. you knew exactly what you were doing." she spat with anger making farleigh look at her with sad eyes

alexandra sighed, "i don't even know who you are anymore." farleigh began to speak but she didn't want to here him talk his way out of this particular situation

"you are going to push him over the edge one day. think before you act and stop being such a vindictive cunt." she declared with a demanding yet low tone showing how serious she was.

alexandra then left him alone in the hallway, casually going back into the room acting like nothing happened. "alex my darling, everything okay?" elsbeth looked over at her with concern

she nodded, "yes ma'am." she was then pulled back into the hallway aggressively, she yanked her arm away from farleigh. "why in the world do you care about him? he is a pure leech." farleigh expressed confidently

alexandra scoffed at his choice of words, squinting her eyes at him out of stupidity, "farleigh you don't even know what you are talking about." alex said getting irritated with him

"you really need to change." he said sarcastically with a deep sigh. "excuse me?"

"you trying to see the good in everyone is going to fuck you up at the end." farleigh warned with calmness but alexandra wasn't going down without a fight

she laughed evilly, "the same exact way as you being a bully. you are going to end up getting karma really quick if you don't start to think." she argued making him sigh

he quickly chuckled, "so you're telling me that you truly think oliver is a nice guy? wake up alex, he is hiding something!" farleigh had yelled. alexandra was ready to walk away from him.

"you don't even know anything about him."

farleigh smiled, "oh and you do?" he asked with a smartass remark making her clench her jaw. he knew how to press people's buttons in a slick way, she hated that about him. alex quickly raised her hands then slapped them loudly down by her thighs

"work on yourself then come talk to me. i'm done with this conversation." she concluded before storming off like a mad woman. "only if you do the same thing." farleigh quickly retorted before heading back into the room
