alexandra stood inside the store uncomfortably with emily who has happily scanning amongst everything clearly intrigued by it all.

"i don't know. i've heard you can keep these inside you all day." emily rambled picking up a pair of.... metal balls

alexandra awkwardly coughed not even knowing why she agreed to come inside with emily. she should have stayed outside, she thought... "yeah don't ask me." alexandra whistled looking down at her shoes

emily looked over at her with a frown, "you okay? you've been quiet ever since we walked in here." she said sounding concerned about her girl. alexandra shrugged not wanting to lie, "this just is....." she bit her lip then breathed heavily, "a lot to take in...." she looked around before looking back at emily

"you have to loosen up. c'mon it's a sex store!! it's normal!!" she exclaimed making alexandra hide her face. emily immediately took her hands away from her face, "c'mon. it's not like you haven't done anything!"

alexandra stayed quiet immediately tapping her foot, emily widened her eyes. "you're still a virgin?!" she asked making alexandra sink to the ground but emily picked her right back up

she was embarrassed as hell. "alex!! seriously?"

this was something she did not want to discuss especially not in the setting they were in. she scoffed, "damn it, emily. yes!!" she slapped her hands down onto her thighs out of frustration

emily looked at her dumbfounded, "not even any foreplay?" she asked making alex sigh, "nada." alexandra concluded making emily shriek, she quickly shushed her

"emily, it's seriously not that big of a deal." alexandra stated with seriousness crossing her arms giving emily the biggest frown

"but it is! you of all people deserve some magic wand in your life!!" she exclaimed placing her hand onto her wrist, "oh gosh..." alexandra cringed

after everything that has happened in the past, sex has been the last thing on alexandra's mind. she is completely fine still being a virgin. plus her aunt has always instilled in her to share her first time with someone special and she has always kept that in the back of her mind

"you're trying to tell me that you haven't thought about jumping at least one guys bones? c'mon look at you. you're perfect and you have so many attractive men under your spell!"

"i've never been a sexual person, you know this." she qickly reminded her playfully hitting her shoulder as she continued scoping out the store

"you know how babies are created right?" emily asked in all seriousness about to irritate alexandra

she gave her a side eye, "yes emily. i know."

"okay. okay." emily said as the headed to the counter. "do you want to get something out of here?" alexandra rolled her eyes then laughed

"i'm totally fine." she assured as the clerk checked them out. after that, the girls headed to emily's house spending the rest of the evening together.

a few hours later, alexandra walked through the door deeply sighing shutting the door. oliver heard her enter his flat making him stand up and sit his laptop onto the coffee table

he walked over to see her standing there with her forehead placed against the door. she shut her eyes out of pure relief dropping her purse onto the floor. "rough day?" he asked as she quickly turned around

she laughed pinching her nose, "it was... eventful." she teased before picking her purse up handing it onto the rack. alexandra then walked past oliver and flopped onto the couch

oliver followed in behind her sitting by her looking at her with ease. "do you want to talk about it?" alexandra leaned up placing both her hands on her face.

she wanted to talk to him but she didn't even know how to describe the events that unfolded today. she licked her lips quickly feeling shy, "i think i'm going backwards in life versus all of my friends." she painfully admitted looking at the wall straight forward

alexandra was convinced that something was wrong with her. twenty one years old, about to be twenty two in a few months. no boyfriend. works then goes immediately home. still a full virgin. she felt like a loser and felt like her life was so boring

it was evident that she had so much more to say so oliver respectfully stayed quiet allowing her to speak again when she was ready, "all my friends are doing great things. they're all in love and living the dream life but...."

she exhaled, "i just feel like i'm stuck. don't get me wrong i know i have it better than so many other people and i know others are going through it way worse than i am, but i just can't seem to find a balance right now. i just feel bored with my life." she expressed with sorrow

oliver sat there thinking in silence for a moment, "i think you're doing great." he stated in honesty making alexandra look over at him with a blank stare

"you're just being nice. we haven't seen in each other in four years." she reminded him. there was no way in hell he had any idea of what she has been up to

he chuckled, "i've seen all your accomplishments on tv." he confirmed making her eyes light up. she could hear it in his voice that he was telling the truth

"you've never really struck me as the type to watch television." alexandra teased playfully hitting him, he let out a quiet laugh

oliver shrugging admitting the truth to her, "i don't that much but i only began to because of you."

he would see her on the news doing so many positive things, still just as amazing if not even more amazing than when he first met alexandra. it was a full circle moment for oliver to see her bounce back and blossom into a beautiful young woman

"i thought that episode with you discussing suicide was really touching and beautiful." he carefully brought up. alexandra looked down at her hands for a moment

oliver was really telling the truth. he had been watching her all these years. alexandra knows what it is like suffering with depression and to have suicidal thoughts. she wanted to use her voice to help young kids and teenagers

so she talked with the producers, writers, and directors of her show and asked if they could do a one hour special about suicide and bullying. at first, everyone was scared because they didn't know how alexandra wanted to execute it on the channel

she wrote the entire script out for the episode and everyone was touched when reading it. that particular episode has ended up becoming one of the most watched episodes ever in disney history. it spoke to so many people including adults and parents.

she flashed him a smile, "shooting that episode was so amazing. i still think about it from time to time." oliver gave her a smile, "olivia really like it." alexandra immediately smiled hearing her name

"how is she doing?" oliver shrugged, "good. i don't see her much but she graduated from high school soon."

alexandra adjusted her body to face oliver completely, "that is so great! what college is she attending?"

"oxford." alex found herself giving him puppy dog eyes hearing that. it was so wholesome to hear. "following in her brother's footsteps." she smiled

oliver licked his lips looking down at his lap, "yeah, i guess." it felt good hearing alexandra's voice again. she is one of the only few people in his life who is genuinely interested about the things he says and talks about

he found himself staring intensely into her doe brown eyes forgetting what they were currently discussing. alexandra frowned, "are you okay?" she asked

he came back into reality nodding, "erm yeah. i'm sorry." she shook it off and smiled, "it's okay. so when is her graduation?"

"a few days." oliver shrugged beginning to nervously fiddle with his fingers. he could feel it coming what alexandra was about to ask

she didn't hesitate to ask, "are you going?"

he felt himself shrugging his shoulders slightly, "probably not." that wasn't a response alexandra was expecting to hear from him

"you should go oliver. she would be thrilled if you went." she didn't know his little sister too well, but based off their first interaction ever, it was clear to alexandra that olivia loved her brother so much and adored him

oliver came up with a proposition, "i'll go if you come with me." he offered

alexandra smiled brightly, "deal." she then kissed him cheek, getting up to go take a shower. oliver watched her up until she closed the door

a faint smile crept upon his face
