I'm sort of mixing things up in this chapter, but I know where it's going, so hopefully you like it too! x & I'm trying to stick to the main story line but minor things may be different! I promise to have lots of surprises in store while sticking to the original overall storyline. Let me know your thoughts!

Chapter Six

Chaos erupted all around me. As the patronus faded, so did the moment of silence. People began screaming and rapidly apparating away with their families. Quickly, all of the elders apparated. Many people stayed; mainly the members of the Order of the Phoenix. Within a few seconds, clouds of black apparations destructively entered the tent. The tent went up in flames. Tall figures dressed in black stood with wands out and cold faces. More people began to scream while the ones who remained mentally prepared to fight or called out orders. Some of the Death Eaters held stone cold and deathly expressions, looking ready to attack. Others had wicked grins and devious eyes while looking excited for a fight.

The screaming never died down as more people began apparating away. "Run!" Arthur Weasley called over to us. I was standing with Hermione. My immediate response was to look for Charlie and Idella, but the two were far across the room. A darker thought was in the back of my head; what if my father was here? Quickly I shook that thought out of my head. There was no way he would ever be here. If anything they kept him doing whatever intellegence work they needed. I made eye contact with Idella and Charlie but knew it was a horrible idea to run to them through the Death Eaters.

"Come on!" Hermione called to me as the two of us backed up. "We will go around the tent. Get your wand out." My fingers suddenly went numb but I reached for my wand and gripped it tightly. A thousand defensive spells passed through my mind as Hermione and I moved through the crowd. I was assuming Harry and Ron were on her mind. They were also on the other side of the room.

I felt as if I was running through a stampede with everyone moving in every direction. Keeping up with Hermione was difficult but I kept on going. Suddenly it got harder to stay near her as people began running towards me and getting in my way. Black figures were moving closer. Idella and Charlie were still far from me. They were attempting to cast spells all while being safe. Spells were shooting off everywhere. I had to jump back as one nearly hit me, lighting the side of the tent on fire. Then again...it wouldn't have had much effect on me anyway.

"Scared of a little fire?" a Death Eater with a cold laugh yelled to me. He was getting closer. I looked closely, he was a much older wizard with a narrow face and wild eyes. "I know your secret!" He shot another fire spell at me and I quickly jumped to the side. He knew? His face was familiar. I looked closer...I didn't know his name but I remember seeing him and knew that he worked for the Department of Mysteries.

No wonder he knew! Panicking I broke into a sprint pushing a few others out of my way while trying to catch up to Hermione. As I ran I made sure to watch my surroundings. The Department of Mysteries Wizard was farther behind me, but others were still close. I made sure to throw out a few defensive spells but I kept missing due to my sudden nerves. I luckily, and very accidentally, hit a Death Eater. My eyes scanned the crowd. A new face caught my attention and I had to do a double take, causing me to slam right into Bill Weasley who caught my balance. "Are you okay?" he said quickly. I nodded quickly and then he moved towards the center of the fighting. I looked over at the Death Eater in the distance. It was Cole. My glance meet his icy blue eyes, he seemed just as surprised as I did.

We made eye contact until another fire spell was thrown at me. This time it hit my side, but obviously nothing happened. The Department of Mysteries Wizard caught up to me. No one was paying attention to me. I was more worried about what this Death Eater wanted from me considering he knew about my condition. I casted out a stunning spell and this time managed to hit the Department of Mysteries wizard just as he casted a spell towards me. I didn't even wait to see if it hit him. Backing up, I broke into a sprint once more. A stunning spell hit me from behind and I ended up tripping into a broken chair and falling to the ground while hitting my head on the table. I put my hand on my throbbing forehead and looked up nervously. I began getting dizzy. Hermione was now in front of me and turned at the noise of the crash. She was standing with Harry and Ron and looked down at me in fear. "Grab onto her Ron!" she yelled. Ron reached down and grabbed onto my arm. We were apparating.

Blinking my eyes, I opened them widely when I realized I was in an unfamiliar place. Nervously I sat up straight when I then remembered...it was Hermione, not a Death Eater, who apparated me away. But where was I? The place was old with dark brown wooden walls and an old feel to the area. There was a musty smell to the area. My forehead ached as I sat up from the couch. "Hello?" I called. Footsteps came into the room.

"You're awake," Hermione said walking over to me. "You hit your head pretty badly. I healed you when we got here. I'm sure you wanted to stay with your friends, but a Death Eater was running towards you after your fall, so I didn't want to leave you."

"No, thank you," I responded shaking my head in disbelief. I couldn't imagine what would have happened if she left me.That Death Eater seemed rather determined. "Where are we exactly?"

"Grimmauld Place," she answered. Ron entered into the room followed by Harry who both greeted me. "This was the original Order of the Phoenix Headquarters. I'm not sure why it popped into my head, but here we are."

Harry, Ron, Hermione, and I ate dinner together as they explained much more to me. I made dinner with what little I could find left in the house. The house looked abandoned for months, similar to mine did the first time my father began acting weird. There was some rice and canned vegetables left in the cabinets. Harry, Ron, and Hermione were in deep conversation and I honestly had no idea what they were talking about, but didn't want to pester them with questions. They attempted to fill me in at times. Although I wasn't given the exact reason, apparently they were searching for a locket owned by someone with the initials R.A.B. I wasn't going to go pressing for more information, as much as it killed me, because I understood the need for secrets. Letting too many people know valuable information was very dangerous at a time like this. That night we were all going to sleep in the living room.

As everyone else fell asleep...I fell into panic. What little was left of my potion was back at the Weasleys. Nothing to keep the side effects down. What if I lit up in flames tonight? I watched as the old clock on the wall ticked away until I was unable to keep myself from staying awake. When I woke up the next morning I was glad nothing bad happened. Maybe it would take a few days for the potion to fade out of my system. Which meant I had a few days to figure it out. "Good morning," Harry said as he entered into the room noticing I was awake.

"Morning," I responded. Looking at the clock I was horrified. "Wow I can't believe how late I slept!" I replied shocked. Harry laughed.

"We all need those days," Harry responded. "I woke up around six, couldn't fall back asleep."

"Any luck with R.A.B.?" I asked hopefully.

"Yes actually," Harry then said sounding more cheerful than usual. "And it gets even better. A House Elf, that surprisingly belongs to me, knew who took it. So I sent him to get it. I suppose we'll have to wait until he comes back."

"That's great," I answered happily. At least everything seemed to be moving quickly.

"We left some food for you down in the kitchen," Harry said before leaving the room. I got up and changed. Hermione was a bit taller than I was but let me borrow some clothes.

Later we were all sitting in the living room while Hermione was teaching Ron how to play piano. Harry was reading the prophet while I was going through a potions book Hermione brought. I made it seem like I wanted to read the book for fun, but I was really looking for any potions similar to the remedy I had been using to keep effects down. Nothing was sticking out at me. A few spells looked potentially beneficial but the ingredients may be hard to find. Plus I was going to have to experiment with adding a few ingredients. Maybe I should tell them, just in case. I could trust them. "There's something I've been meaning to tell you guys," I said breaking the silence.

"What is it?" Ron asked curiously. So I explained quickly about how I was poisoned by a potion when I was younger and how it still affected me. All three were really interested until I told them I was running out of the potion that kept the effects down. "Well...what will happen?" Ron asked.

"Nothing serious. The flames that appear on me seem to be illusions and not actual flames," I told him. "But they feel like real flames. Actual flames don't have any effect on me."

"I thought I saw you hit at the wedding!" Hermione said in realization. "When that spell hit you. I wasn't sure though, now it all makes sense." I nodded.

"So you're like...fireproof?" Harry added.

"I guess," I replied with a laugh. "I just need to try and recreate the potion."

"I'll help if you'd like," Hermione said and I nodded thanking her. I suppose I had a few days to figure it out. As everyone went back to what they were doing, we heard a crack. The House Elf, Kreacher, was back and by the sounds of it he had someone with him.

Wanted to change it up a bit, so Bradley gets to stick with the trio for a bit, but as always promise there will be many surprises!
