Chapter 2: The Cousin Visits
//(One Week Later, Fall Break)//
Rikuo paced back and forth across his room; his worry was clearly written on his face.
"Ok...guys. Remember not to reveal yourselves to my cousin unless you're disguised in your human forms. I know it'll be hard to stay hidden for so long, but I really want to get to know my cousin. Oh gosh, this isn't good. What if he's the type of people that likes to snoop around everything? What if he doesn't like big places? What if he doesn't like soba? What if he hates me!?"
One of the bigger yokai of the Nura Clan sweatdropped, the skulls around his neck clattered together as he shifted in his kneeling form; his deep voice resonated in the room.
"W-Waka....I believe you're worrying too much."
Rikuo turned to look at the other; he paused in his pacing and sighed.
"I'm sorry, Ao, but I just don't want to mess this up."
Another in Japanese black priest robes cleared his throat to catch the brunet's attention, fist at his mouth, which was tilted upwards slightly in an amused smile; he was one of the more humanoid-looking yokai.
"Rikuo-sama, it may be bold of me, but I too think you're worrying too much."
A blonde yokai with a detached head smiled anxiously at Rikuo, his hands folded neatly in his lap; he was another humanoid yokai.
"We understand that it's a very big deal for you, Rikuo-sama, but it's not good if you overexert yourself."
Rikuo looked at all of them before sighing once more; he smiled softly at the three of them.
"Arigatou, Ao, Kuro, Kubinashi."
The three--Aotabo, Kurotabo and Kubinashi--nodded their heads and smiled at their young leader; Rikuo then made a pleading motion to the three.
"Can you guys please tell the others about this? To stay out of sight and out of trouble?"
"Of course/Hai, Rikuo-sama."
~~
Rikuo dressed up in casual clothes as he waited around the airport gates. Kubinashi and Tsurara decided to tag along for bodyguard purposes.
Kubinashi was wearing a green jacket with a black t-shirt underneath and blue jeans; he his black scarf pulled a little higher to cover his nonexistent neck.
Tsurara was wearing a blue and white tank top and light blue shorts that went a bit past the knees; she was also wearing her usual white scarf.
Rikuo sighed as he searched the crowd; his cousin described himself with gravity-defying, brown hair. That was definitely something that sounded like it stood out.
The brunet adjusted his glasses as he looked around once more before sighing.
"I wonder if Tsuna-kun's plane is delayed..."
"Ya' know Tsuna?"
Rikuo jumped, along with his two guards.
The brunet spun around to see a ravenet teen with a fedora on his head; Rikuo tilted his head curiously at the newcomer.
Kubinashi and Tsurara on the other hand were wary. They couldn't even sense the ravenet's approach.
The newcomer gazed at Rikuo silently before nodding to himself.
"Huh, so you're Nura Rikuo."
Rikuo blinked in surprise and became slightly wary of the ravenet too; Kubinashi and Tsurara shuffled a little closer to the 3rd Nurarihyon.
"You...know my name...?" 'Is he in an enemy Clan?'
The ravenet nodded.
"Yep."
The teen tipped his fedora up a bit and glanced at Tsurara and Kubinashi before looking back at Rikuo.
"Soooo......my student will be back in a few moments. He went to get him and me some coffee at that Starbucks cafe over there."
Rikuo blinked dumbly; the ravenet's comment dispelled any tension around the Nura Clan members.
"Eh?"
And then a new voice entered the conversation.
"Reborn, I swear you made you order complicated on purpose. You usually just order a plain espresso, but then you decided to get something fancy. Two exact teaspoons of ground chocolate, a pinch of sugar, two cups of freshly ground coffee beans, stirred for ten minutes, fifteen drops of latte cream and then a mint leaf in the middle.....who even orders something so complicate like that!? I had to repeat it three times to the poor barista!"
Rikuo watched as a brunet with gravity-defying hair marched up to the ravenet, Reborn, carrying two cups labeled with the Starbucks brand.
The brunet gave an irked expression to the raven-haired teen as he shoved one of the plastic cups at him.
"Take your stupid, fancy coffee."
"It's not stupid nor is it fancy, Dame-Tsuna."
Reborn took a sip before gesturing towards Rikuo with his cup.
"I found your cousin."
The brunet, Tsuna, blinked in surprise and turned his gaze to the three that were there.
Tsuna inclined his head scrutinizing the other with an unreadable gaze.
"Rikuo-kun?"
The shorter brunet gulped and nodded.
Two arms suddenly engulfed Rikuo into a hug.
"It's so great to finally meet you!"
Rikuo tensed up and blushed before relaxing and returning the hug.
"N-Nice to meet you too."
Tsuna let go of the shorter brunet and turned his attention to Kubinashi and Tsurara; the teen bowed and greeted the two with a smile.
"Heya! My name is Sawada Tsunayoshi. You can just call me Tsuna without the honorifics too. And this--if he rudely did not introduce himself--" Tsuna gestured towards Reborn with a slight frown. "Is Reborn. Don't even try asking for his last name because he will not tell you."
Reborn quirked his lips up into a smirk.
Tsuna sighed before turning back to look at Rikuo with a sheepish smile.
"Um, Rikuo-kun, I have some news that my mom will come a bit later on. My friends will also be coming here at their own pace--if that's alright with you..."
Rikuo merely nodded his head and smiled brightly.
"That's fine! And if you're ready...we can get going!"
Tsuna glanced to see that Reborn already had their bags.
'What a gentleman...' Tsuna though wryly, shaking his head slightly. 'At least he knows when to be one.'
The brunet then turned a smile to Rikuo.
"Okay! We're ready to go."
~~
"Wah~you weren't kidding when you said the place was big enough!"
Tsuna shaded his eyes when he looked at the mansion before him in slight amazement.
Rikuo smiled bashfully.
"E-Eh...let's get inside."
The shorter brunet led the way.
He turned one of the corners and saw one of the smaller yokai lounging around; Rikuo froze in shock.
"Rikuo-kun? Is there something wrong?"
Rikuo jumped and turned to look at Tsuna, who was gazing at him with concern; the shorter of the two started sweating bullets. Tsuna couldn't see anything from where he was standing along with Reborn.
Tsurara and Kubinashi were right by Rikuo, so they could see the problem and they sweated slightly.
Rikuo responded nervously.
"Um...uh...nothing's wrong..."
Rikuo's eyes darted sideways and saw that Aotabo appeared and snatched the small yokai up and out of sight; the brunet sighed mentally in relief. Rikuo smiled with less strain at Tsuna.
"Yup! Everything's fine."
Tsuna peered curiously at Rikuo before continuing to follow the brunet around the mansion.
Howeve--
"UWAAAAAH~! TSUNA-KUN IS SO CUUUUTEEE~!"
Wakana appeared and attacked Tsuna with a tight hug and then a pinch of the cheeks.
"You've grown up into a fine young man! Oh, Nana's not here. A shame, but I have such an adorable and handsome young man in my home! And an equally handsome friend!?"
Reborn nodded his head politely towards the woman.
"Chaos. I'm Reborn."
"Kyaaaa~! He even has an adorable introduction!"
Reborn blanched while Tsuna chuckled on the side; the brunet rubbed one of his red cheeks and bowed towards the brunette woman.
"Thank you for having us, Oba-san." (Aunty.)
Wakana giggled before bringing Tsuna in for another.
"Oh, you're so polite too--ah! Right, you two need to settle down!"
She ushered Tsuna and Reborn to Rikuo, who was looking at Wakana with exasperation.
"You didn't need to attack them, Kaa-chan!"
His mother merely giggled and skipped away.
"Have fun in the mansion~!"
~~
Rikuo thought that he was having multiple heart attacks the entire time he gave Tsuna a tour around the mansion.
The brunet clutched his chest and sweatdropped.
'It's Yura-chan visiting the mansion all over again!'
Yura, an Onmyouji, had visited the Nura mansion once with the rest of Rikuo's friends.
Onmyouji weren't exactly human; they were people that lived to eradicate yokai. Most were trained to believe that yokai were all evil. Rikuo hopes to change Yura's mind about it later on.
The brunet sighed outwardly, catching Tsuna's attention; the taller brunet gazed at Rikuo for a bit before speaking.
"Neh...Rikuo-kun..."
"Hm?"
"You seem stressed about something. Is everything really alright?"
Rikuo fidgeted slightly as he sat on the wooden patio with Tsuna. Reborn was already settled down and taking a nap in the guest room.
"Um, well--"
"To be honest with you.....I can tell when someone lies to me."
Rikuo froze.
'Oh dear.'
Tsuna turned his gaze from the blue sky above to look at Rikuo; the shorter brunet could've sworn he saw something orange flit across the other's eyes. But his eyes were brown....right...?
Tsuna had an unreadable expression on his face as he gazed at Rikuo; he spoke softly to the other.
"Why are you lying to me?"
Rikuo looked down at his lap in shame, but he didn't respond--at least not verbally.
'I don't want to scare you away...'
"I understand."
Rikuo jerked his head up to look at the brunet in surprise. Tsuna smiled and shrugged.
"If you won't tell me anything, that's cool."
The taller gave a mysterious smile.
"I have a few secrets of my own after all."
Rikuo blinked dumbly as Tsuna stood up and walked away, hands in his pockets.
The 3rd Nurarihyon sighed and mused up his hair.
~~
//(Noon)//
Tsuna stood by the sakura tree in the yard.
He watched as a few petals fell down when a breeze blew by.
And then something white fell from it; he heard a squeak and a soft thud.
Tsuna blinked in surprise and jogged over.
'An injured animal...?'
The brunet pushed a few leaves to the side and paused.
It was a tiny...white...person...?
Beady black eyes blinked up at Tsuna; it was clutching its right arm.
Its mouth was in a pout--to Tsuna, it looked like a three.
Tsuna blinked owlishly before hesitantly reaching out to the yokai--Sannokuchi.
"You're hurt...come here for a bit, please? I won't hurt you."
Sannoukuchi--San for short--studied Tsuna before hopping into the brunet's hand.
Tsuna crouched down and sighed.
"Let's see the damage..."
San lifted his tiny hand out of the way.
Tsuna saw that the white arm was purpling; he grimaced before looking at San reassuringly.
"Okay...I'm going to fix this. But don't tell anyone about this next part...."
Tsuna lit a finger up with Sun flames; San flinched slightly before relaxing as the flames gave off a soothing energy to the wound.
"Okay...all~better."
San looked at his arm with surprise; the bruising and pain had vanished.
Tsuna smiled brightly at the yokai.
"Feeling bett--WOAH!"
San made a happy noise and attached himself to Tsuna's neck.
"Tsuna-san is nice!"
The brunet laughed amusedly.
"Aw, thank you....um..."
"Sannoukuchi! Call me San!"
Tsuna smiled and stood up, letting the little yokai sit on his shoulder.
"Nice to meet you San-kun. And it's apparent that you already know my name...?"
"Hai~!"
Tsuna sighed before glancing around; he then looked up at the sakura tree.
"What were you doing up there anyways, San-kun?"
"I was spying on Tsuna-san."
The brunet sweatdropped.
"...At least you're being honest...and...what are you exactly...?"
"A yokai!"
Tsuna blinked in mild surprise before humming thoughtfully.
"I see..." 'Is this what Rikuo-kun is hiding from me? My Intuition says...yes...'
Tsuna sighed softly.
'I guess I'll go talk to Rikuo-kun about it.'
~~
Rikuo was shocked.
Tsuna waved lazily at the shorter brunet.
"Heya, Rikuo-kun."
"Hello, Rikuo-sama!"
"SANNOUKUCHI!?"
Tsuna laughed brightly at Rikuo's shocked face.
"Maa, Rikuo-kun. Calm down..."
San crawled up to settle in Tsuna's soft hair; the brunet smiled gently at the bespeckled one.
"San-kun had an accident and fell from the sakura tree when he was...spying on me. I had to help him out a--"
"Tsuna-kun!"
The Decimo paused and inclined his head at Rikuo--although he made sure San wouldn't fall out.
Rikuo was staring at Tsuna with wide eyes.
"You...You're not afraid?"
Tsuna stared at Rikuo before laughing.
"Pffft--!? Really? San-kun is quite adorable--not weird at all. Plus, I've seen stranger and...scarier things..."
Tsuna's expression darkened momentarily before brightening up, smiling softly at Rikuo.
"Rikuo-kun...if this is what you're hiding, I don't mind at all. I have a feeling that these yokai are your family; a family you want to protect, right?"
Rikuo blinked in surprise before slowly nodding.
Tsuna grinned, walked up to Rikuo and ruffled the shorter's hair before jogging off.
"I'm gonna meet San-kun's friends! He said he's gonna introduce me! See you around, Rikuo-kun."
Rikuo watched his mysterious cousin leave and realized something.
"....The day isn't even finished, and he already found out about the truth...."
~~
Eventually, all of the yokai revealed themselves to Tsuna and Reborn.
Tsuna became friends with the large family easily. Reborn poker-faced throughout the entire ordeal and merely watched his student's interactions with the yokai.
Rikuo also managed to become closer to Tsuna since the brunet accepted his family.
~~
"So....your head can never really attach itself back to you, Kubinashi-san?"
The blonde smiled amusedly and nodded at the slightly star-struck Tsuna.
"Yes. However, my head can fly away if there's a strong breeze that passes by."
Kubinashi sighed exasperatedly.
"My head sometimes ends up far away from the mansion..."
Tsuna grimaced at the other.
"Ah...that does sound troublesome."
"Tsuna-san, Tsuna-san!"
The brunet blinked in surprise when he felt a few weights on his body.
The smaller yokai have come out to play.
Tsuna chuckled when they started to grab his hand and drag him away.
"Alright, alright. Sorry, Kubinashi-san! I'll talk to you later!"
The blonde merely waved and chuckled amusedly as the brunet walked away with the small yokai clambering on top of him.
"He's quite accepting of this, isn't he?"
Kubinashi turned his head slightly to see Kurotabo; the blonde sighed and nodded slightly.
Kuro narrowed his gaze.
"...I feel that he's accepting it too easily though."
Kubinashi frowned slightly.
"He's nice boy, Kurotabo. I sense no ill intent from him. His actions are very genuine."
Kuro sighed.
"Yes. I know. I can sense it too. But I feel that he's like....Rikuo-sama."
Kubinashi blinked in surprise before inclining his head to the side, raising an eyebrow.
"How so?"
Kuro stared at Tsuna's back.
"...Tsunayoshi-kun....he has an aura...of a leader..."
~~
//(Nighttime)//
Tsuna yawned, pushing his glasses up over his eyes.
Like his contacts, they weren't used for seeing clearly, but to hide his eyes; his contacts were already put away, and he was too lazy to get them out.
He needed a glass of water, and his Hyper Intuition was bothering him.
"Hey you."
Tsuna paused at the unfamiliar voice.
It was deep...calm...and a bit authoritative.
Tsuna turned his gaze to the sakura tree, pushing his glasses up further onto his nose.
Sitting on one of the thicker branches, was a long-haired silveret teen; black locks rested underneath the silver.
Red eyes glinted in the darkness.
A small smirk was present on the newcomer's pale face.
Tsuna fully turned his body to face the silveret; the brunet raised an eyebrow at the other's clothes.
'Isn't that...what Rikuo wore this evening? A blue yukata?'
"Hey."
The silveret spoke once more, smirking down at Tsuna.
"I haven't seen your face around here before. You a part of some new Clan planning an alliance with me?"
Tsuna tilted his head.
"Well, I haven't seen your face before, and I'm not a part of any Clan that wishes to make an alliance with you. I am here to visit my cousin."
"Who?"
"Well...I can't tell you, since I'm a bit suspicious of who you are. And why are you wearing Rikuo-kun's clothes?"
The silveret chuckled.
"Ah....now I see....I remember now...from a few nights before...."
The newcomer jumped down from the tree; Tsuna couldn't help but tense one of his hands slightly incase of a fight.
The silveret slowly approached Tsuna.
"Day-Me has been talking a lot about a cousin visiting. It's frustrating that we can't remember much of what happens in our respective times. Heck, I don't think he'll remember me talking to you...or..."
Tsuna noticed the sword in the silveret's hand.
"...Hurting you...?"
Tsuna narrowed his gaze at the other.
"I really wouldn't want to fight you."
The taller smirked, his blade glinted underneath the moonlight.
"Really? To me, you seem to be quite battle-experienced."
Tsuna shook his head gently and started to walk away from the silveret.
'Someone looking for a fight? I wonder how I never saw this person before; he stands out quite a bit an--...wait....'Day-Me'.....'
Tsuna's Hyper Intuition helped click everything together as he heard a whisper of metal slicing through the air.
The brunet spun around and reached his hands above his head, catching the silveret's sword between his palms.
The taller smirked, his yukata rustled around him as he quickly stepped away from Tsuna.
"Nice reactions."
The silveret followed up with a stab towards the Decimo's gut.
Tsuna stepped to the side and let the katana pass by body.
The brunet then jumped out into the yard to gain more space to move around instead of the narrow hall; Tsuna narrowed his gaze at the silveret and raised his hands in front of his face.
The silveret followed him out and slashed a diagonal line at Tsuna's torso.
The brunet dodged before grabbing the extended arm; Tsuna's back was to the newcomer's chest as he proceeded to flip the taller over his shoulder.
The attack proved useless when the silveret shifted in midair to end up on his feet.
Tsuna spun on his heel and backhanded the flat part of the silveret's blade.
The swordsman blinked in slight surprise when his katana flew out of his hands and stabbed itself into the ground; Tsuna followed up with the palm of his other hand to smash into the silveret's gut.
The newcomer skidded back and regained his balance easily, crouching slightly beside his katana; he tugged it out of the ground and brushed some of the grass with the tip.
The silveret chuckled as he straightened himself to gaze at Tsuna with amused eyes.
Tsuna himself was frowning slightly and dropped his hands to his sides.
"I don't want to fight you, Rikuo-sa--"
Crack!
Tsuna's head snapped back when the hilt of the silveret's sword met his glasses.
The brunet stumbled back; his broken glasses fell onto the grass.
Tsuna had a hand over his eyes and nose; he regained his balance.
The brunet removed his hand from his eyes, shaking some blood off, which had dribbled down his nose and onto his fingers.
Tsuna kept his eyes closed, but he looked in the other's general direction.
"Rikuo-san....can we...spar another time? This is pointless and I'm a bit sleepy."
The brunet opened his eyes to reveal glowing, sunset-orange eyes.
The silveret, the yokai part of Rikuo, paused at the eyes; he gazed at them in interest before sighing softly.
He sheathed his blade and walked over to Tsuna.
"Sorry about that. But I've been itching for a fight for a while."
Tsuna winced as Night-Rikuo poked his nose, but the brunet managed a small smile.
"I can slightly understand, Rikuo-san. I want a good spar, but not right now--maybe another night. Plus, I think one of my friends would like to fight you; he's one of the strongest."
Rikuo nodded before smirking amusedly at Tsuna.
"So...nice to meet you, cousin. I'm both impressed and happy that you're making yourself comfortable here--despite all of my family members milling around. But I can tell you've seen far more...interesting things before meeting me."
Rikuo gestured at Tsuna's orange eyes.
The brunet chuckled and sighed, looking down at the ground.
"Yeah...."
Rikuo studied Tsuna; the silveret shifted a bit anxiously, which the Decimo found a bit amusing.
"....So next night?"
Tsuna chuckled and responded.
"Next night."
"....A few stories too?"
"...Sure."
"....Sorry about your nose."
"It'll heal."
And then a comfortable silence fell upon the two.
They both watched the sakura tree for a moment.
And then Rikuo spoke up.
"Wanna watch the moon with me for a bit?"
"Eh. I guess so. I'm pretty much wide awake now....and when will you go back to being 'Day-Rikuo'?"
"A few more hours.......and you won't tell 'me' about this, will you?"
"I'll keep it a secret for now."
The two sat down in the grass; Tsuna gathered the remains of his glasses. Good thing he brought a few spares.
There was another silence...and then...
"Want some sake?"
Tsuna did a slight spit-take and gaped at Rikuo before whisper-shouting at the silveret.
"Rikuo-san, you're only 13!"
"In the yokai world, it's a legal age."
"....No thank you."
"Heh, suit yourself."
"Your other half is going to get a hangover."
"'I' can handle it."
~~
"Tsuna-kun? The bridge of your nose looks a little red..."
Tsuna waved Rikuo, who now had brown hair and was a little shorter, down with a soft smile.
"I hit my face into one of the door frames. I'm good now."
Rikuo blinked his brown eyes before nodding and smiling.
"I'll go get some breakfast."
The brunet left the guest room; Tsuna sighed when his cousin was gone. The Decimo couldn't help but notice how Rikuo clutched his head slightly in pain when he left the room.
Reborn snickered on the side.
"I must say....you being a 'pacifist' was amusing. You got your face smashed in...by your seemingly innocent cousin."
Tsuna rolled his eyes.
"Shut up, Reborn. Rikuo-kun doesn't know what happened last night with Rikuo-san. And how are you faring with the yokai?"
"Meh, they know to give me personal space. That Kurotabo guy seems to know that I'm more than I seem. And I think he's also starting to suspect you..."
Tsuna crossed his arms and sighed.
"Well...secrets will be revealed in due time. I'm a bit scared of their reaction."
Reborn scoffed softly.
"Judging by what happened last night with that 'Night-Rikuo', I'm sure being in the Mafia won't be too surprising. Maybe you can confide in ol' Nighty for now and tell Day about it later on."
Tsuna frowned briefly before nodding.
Footsteps were heard and the paper door slid open; Rikuo was carrying a platter of food along with a female yokai who was carrying two.
The brunette, Kejoro, brushed a few of her curly bangs out of her face, smiling lazily at them.
"Heya, fellas. I brought breakfast with Rikuo-sama~"
Tsuna smiled and murmured a thanks while Reborn nodded silently.
Rikuo joined the two in eating breakfast.
And sometimes, a few yokai would come by to watch them eat.
~~
"Tsuna-kun, when will you be heading to school with me?"
The said brunet hummed softly.
"In about two days. My enrollment papers probably just got it today, along with a few of my friends'."
"I see..."
Tsuna sipped some green tea and sighed contently.
Rikuo sipped his own tea as he watched the sakura tree in the yard.
It was times like these, that the two cousins felt contented with just their presences close to each other.
~~
//(Nighttime)//
"Mafia? Pffft--I would've never expected that from you, Tsuna."
Night-Rikuo's lips were quirked up into an amused smirk.
Tsuna shrugged and grinned faintly at the silveret.
"What can I say? Neither did I....but that was months ago...."
The brunet sighed and his gaze became slightly distant; Rikuo inclined his head at the other's expression.
"...Do you regret it?"
Tsuna looked up at the moon. It was very close to becoming full.
"....Yes....and no...."
The brunet leaned back on the palms of his hands as he stretched his legs out in front of him.
"It's complicated, really. I was suddenly pulled into such a chaotic, bloody world. I was sick of all of the violence, cruelty and utter stupidity of the Mafia."
Tsuna paused before looking down at the grass brushing against his bare feet.
"....But....I've made much more friends than I could've ever made on my own. My family's bigger now. And luckily, the Famiglia I'm left with doesn't focus on killing every single thing that moves--nor are they human traffickers or slave drivers. Vongola is not a group of saints, but I'm trying to minimize the violence."
Rikuo gazed at Tsuna before nodding in understanding; his red eyes lifted to look up at the moon.
"I see.......I guess I can relate to that a bit...."
Tsuna glanced over at the silveret as he continued to speak.
"Day-Me doesn't want to accept all of this right now--Clan business and all of the sh** that comes with it. Night-Me is pretty okay with this--but if I'm not 'all together' on this, the affects may be disastrous. I might turn into some sort of demented, bipolar guy."
Rikuo heaved a deep sigh before continuing.
"....Day-Me wants to be a pacifist, like you. I guess I can see that, but Clans around here aren't very merciful. Day-Me wants all humans and yokai to respect us--not fear us. But hey, in the end, Day-Me is still a 'part' of Rikuo in a whole, which means I have the same idea as 'him'."
Rikuo crossed his legs, in an Indian style, and scratched his head.
"Yeesh, it's hard to talk like that about yourself like that--it's so confusing."
Tsuna chuckled at the slight whine in the other's voice.
The two then sat in a silence.
A gentle breeze passes by.
Rikuo spoke up; Tsuna could surprisingly sense a tone of seriousness in the silveret's voice.
"Tsuna."
"Hai?"
"Exchange cups with me."
Tsuna rose an eyebrow and pulled his legs back in, sitting Indian style.
"....May I ask why?"
Rikuo crossed his arms and huffed.
"I wanna have a another brother--not just a cousin."
Tsuna blinked in surprise before smiling softly.
"...Alright."
Rikuo brought out two red, cups and a small bottle of sake; the silverent grinned wolfishly.
"Let's drink."
Tsuna grabbed one cup and Rikuo filled it with sake; the silveret also filled his own.
The two linked arms and drank their cups in two small gulps.
Tsuna grinned at the other.
"Heh, looks like were brothers now?"
Rikuo laughed and retracted his arm from Tsuna's.
"Yep. You're stuck with me now."
Tsuna smiled softly.
The two watched the moon once more in a brief silence.
"Stop drinking already, Rikuo-san."
"You can't tell me what to do."
~~
//(Daytime)//
"Eh? The others can't come with you three?"
Rikuo, the brunet and not the silveret, gazed at Tsuna with concern as the taller brunet talked on his cellphone.
Tsuna furrowed one eyebrow before sweatdropping.
"Kyoya-kun's a bit reluctant to leave yet, huh? Mukuro-kun and Chrome-chan are going to stay a bit longer in their hideout....Lambo-kun is staying with Onii-san for a few days? Okay, okay.....have a safe trip. Make sure Kaa-san doesn't wander. M'kay, thanks."
Tsuna sighed as he ended the call and turned his phone off; he faced Rikuo with a sheepish smile.
"Apparently, most of my friends don't want to come just yet. However, my mom and two of them will be arriving in time to start school with me."
Rikuo nodded before smiling brightly.
"So...they'll be arriving tomorrow?"
"Hai, in the noon time. And then the day after, we'll all start school."
~~
"Tsuna-sama/Haha, Tsuna/Tsu-kun!"
Tsuna was hugged tightly by a short-haired brunette woman while two teen greeted him with a bow and a ruffle of the hair.
Tsuna laughed brightly at the three.
"Hey, Kaa-san, Hayato-kun, Takeshi-kun!"
The brunet then lead them to Rikuo, who was sitting with Kappa, disguised as a ravenet with headphones and a scarf, and Kurotabo, who was wearing a gray business suit.
Tsuna couldn't help but sweatdrop slightly at Kurotabo's choice of disguise but sighed in amusement as he got closer to them.
"Rikuo-kun! I found them!"
