The next day

Kana thought it would be a very good idea to treat the students and teachers with her favourite food of life

"So what are we going to have for lunch, Kanroji sensei?"

Nobara asked excitedly

She was sitting on Kana's right side, whereas Yuji was sitting on Kana's right

Kana smiled kindly at the young girl and patted her head lovingly

"Anything you want, pretty-chan. Our private chiefs will make it for you"

Nobara giggled, still holding kana's hand like a little girl.

After the foods came, everyone ate their foods. They were all amused to see how much Kana could eat

She literally ate almost 60 bowls of rice

It left everyone amazed

"Wow, that's impressive!"

Yuta praised Kana's appetite, he was really surprised to see her eat this much

"Ah you think so? I just nibbled in today"

She said, still holding a chopstick

"Wah, Kanroji sensei, do you always eat this much?"

Yuta asked with a friendly smile, to which Kana replied with a nod

"Yes, I love to eat. I eat more than anyone I know. I've been like this since I was little "

Yuta and all the other students smiled at her happy deminear

"I'm going to eat plenty too! So I can get strong "

He said determinedly

Nobara pouted when she noticed Yuta was taking away all Kana's attention. so she clenched on Kana's skirt, successfully gaining the older girl's attention

Kana's heart almost melted when she saw Nobara giving her the cutest puppy dog eyes. And being a mother of a little demanding baby girl, Kana knew Nobara wanted her attention

So she warmly smiled at her female student and brought her in a loving warm hug

"What is it, Nobara-chan"

Nobara just let out a clingy whine

Kana said, patting her head in a soothing manner

All the students and teachers sweat dropped seeing Nobara so clingy with the new female teacher

the second day of joining jujutsu high, Kana brought a lot of skincare and makeup for both Maki and Nobara. Like she promised she would in the first day when Nobara asked her about her skincare routine. Since then the only female student of the first years had been this clingy with Kana

Yuta, who was sitting beside Nobara tried to tell her to leave Kana, just in case she felt uncomfortable

"Kugisaki-chan, I think you should let Kana sensei go. She looks uncomfortable"

But Kana shook her head, bringing Nobara deeper in her imbrace

"I am not uncomfortable. Don't worry"

Then she looked down at Nobara with a soft smile, playing with her orange hair

"I've always been more family oriented. I always wanted many siblings but only had one who was much older than me, my baby Yuji's dad, my Jin-nii. Yet we had a beautiful sibling bond. Nobara-chan's love is comforting for me''

Yuta smiled gently

"But sensei didn't get eat anything"

Kana suddenly said with a pout

"I think principal Yaga is in his office"

Haibara said looking forward

"I'm worried about sensei though. What if he doesn't eat"

"I can bring him some rice cakes"

Yuta said suggestively

Kana's eyes waiden in delight

"Yeah, let's do that "

Soon Maki, Yuta, Nobara were making their way to the principal's office. Yuta was holding a plate of rice cakes with a cup of hot green 🍵 and Nobara was holding kana's hand

"Nobara-chan, Nobara-chan, you know what? The sight of rice cakes is making me hungry again. Don't tell anyone, okay "

She said, Making Nobara giggle

What they didn't know was Nanami, Gojo, Geto and Toji were following suit a little far behind

"God, she's so cute with Nobara"

Gojo said, pointing at Kana with a dreamy sigh

"Is it really necessary for us to follow her like creeps?"

Nanami asked with a annoyed voice

"Shut up brats, y'all will get us caught"

Toji said in a displeased voice, making the trio give him death glares

Yuta did had a question that he wanted to ask his sensei

"Why did you become a sorcerer, Kanroji sensei?"

His question made Kana pause while walking, her cheeks warmed up and she cupped both of her cheeks. Portraiting a look of comical embarrassment

All the four teacher in the far distance almost tripped over one another, trying to hear the answer she was about to give

"Hmm? Me?"

Kana asked, cute comical hearts surrounded her. As she was still cupping her flushed cheeks in embarrassment

While none of the teachers or students could understand why she was so embarrassed to answer such a normal question. It wasn't something that private, right

"This is embarrassing! Oh dear, what should I do?"

She squealed

Now her face was absolutely red as she answered in a high pitched squeal

"You want to hear? Well it's... To find the gentleman I would be spending eternity !"

Everyone's jaw hit the floor in shock. Yuta looked the most shocked though

But she kept going

"I mean any girl would prefer someone stronger than her, right? Because we want to be protected. You know what I mean? Or maybe it's hard for a boy to understand

See sorcerers are powerful right? But it's not like you can meet up with one! So I knew I had to become a sorcerer myself, and I worked really hard "

She kept squealing

Nobara was too happy and in contant to think about anyone else

Soon they made their way to the principal's office but found it empty

"It doesn't look like sensei is here"

Kana said with a dainty pout

"Kanroji-sama?"

A new voice joined in, making Kana look at the new comer. It was one of her demon slayer

"It's time for Your meeting with Rengoku and Uzui clan elders"

"Oh my. It looks like I have to take my leave "

Kana said with her regular smile

"Please don't mind us, I'll be happy to walk you, sensei "

Yuta said warmly but then he remembered she promised him she would help him with his katana practice

Kana remembered it too

So she tried to cheer him up

"Yuta-kun"

Yuta looked up at her smiling face

"We might not live to see each other again, but let's fight the good fight. Even if I can't help you today, if I live and we meet again, I'll come to teach you more "

She said, giving him a closed eyed smile

Yuta felt a arrow went through his heart, making him almost melt

"You took down many Special grade curses and survived. That kind of experience is priceless. Nothing can top what you have experienced firsthand. It's equal to 5... no 10 years of training "

She said, looking at Nobara and rubbing her head affectionately

"Right now, you're stronger than ever before. I know how the higher ups treat you all"

Then she looked at Yuta again

"Kanroji Kana is rooting for all you students "

She said with a the brightest closed eyed smile that Yuta's ever seen. And it made his heart warm up, making him feel like he mattered to someone in n this world

"But all the credits go to Gojo and Geto sensei. They always let me win, that's all "

His facial expression changed in a more determined one

"I'll work even harder to defeat all more strong opponents"

Kana gasped, extremely empressed with the young man's determination

But she felt a tug on her skirt and looked back. Her helping hand was urging her to leave, warning her she might end up being late

She came closer to Yuta and took him on the side. Then she very intimately wispered in his ears

"I've heard there is a special katana in my clan house. It'll make you stronger. I'll find it for you, okay "

With that, she byed them goodbye

Yuta was still in shock because he could still feel her warm breath hitting his ears, sending shivers down his spine

Nobara and Maki were waving at her

"I can't wait for her to be back. She's the best, right Maki-san?"

Nobara asked, still waving

"Yeah, can't argue with that "

Maki said with a smirk

But soon they got startled when Yuta had a massive nosebleed

"What the hell!?"

Both girls squealed seeing Yuta hold the rice ball plate on top of his head while blood kept gushing out of his nose
