He asked with stars in his eyes

Kana swooned at his cuteness, bringing him in a loving hug

"Of course, my little one. I'll do anything for your happiness"

She said, showering his face with lots of kisses

Kana was so relieved. She thought she'd die with the guilt of leaving behind the young son of her probably dead brother. She always blamed herself for leaving him, when she didn't even have any options

When she found out about Yuji being the vessel she broke down and blamed herself for everything. She was ashamed, devistated and at a total loss. Which resulted her being in a mess

But as Tamoyo came to see the helplessness and downfall of the master of the demon slayer corps, she worked day and night to make this seal for the king of curses

Hence taking a huge weight of kana's shoulder. Now, feeling much better about all the arrangements, she couldn't be more happy and glad to see Yuji happy again

Yuji himself was quite happy. How could he not be? It was like the heavens sent an angel to protect him

Literally, a day before his life was just hanging by a thread. he knew how he would die in a few months and now he had everything. A long life to live, a promising future and it looked like he was about to have a loving family

Kana stared at him with wide open eyes before they softened. Her eyes became glassy as a soft smile appeared on her lips

"You grew up so fine... You're just as kind as your father.... Nii-chan would have been proud of you.. I am too.. so so incredibly proud"

She said as her eyes stared at his face

For a flash moment, she saw Jin's smiling face instead of Yuji's

Yuji was just smiling looking at her

She quickly wiped her eyes as she joyfully exclaimed

"If that's what you want, so be it! You'll study here and stay with me in the weekends. All of your expenses, I'll pay for"

Yuji's grin widened

"But... I won't let you be alone anymore. You've suffered all this time for no reason... I won't let that happen in my watch anymore"

Yuji tilted his head in confusion. He didn't understand what she was about to do

She gave him a beaming smile and placed a warm kiss on his cheeks. Making him blush

She looked back at Yaga

"Sensei!"

Everyone was in kind of a daze, taking all these surprises in Kana threw at them. Yaga heard her call him and came out of his daze

"What is it, Kanroji?"

She grinned at him

"From now, I'll join as a teacher here in jujutsu high from the next week"

Everyone's jaw slacked for what felt like the 100th time this day. She just kept shocking them time after time

"What!"

Yuji yelled in disbelief

She looked back at him, a beaming beautiful smile on her face as she cupped his cheek again

"You heard it right. I'll never let you out of my sight again. It took me a lot to get you back and I'll make up to you for all the lost time. Any danger that comes to you would have to come to me first"

She said with a closed eyed smile

Yuji was overwhelmed with her generosity that he couldn't help but cry. He brought her in a tight hug, which she returned whole heartedly

"Thank you... Thank you so much for everything"

She smiled, running her fingers through his rough pink hair

"Oh my sweet child, you don't need to thank for anything. Thank you for giving me another chance. You're getting all you truly deserve"

She whispered into his ear

Making him more emotional

All the teachers and students just stared at them

It was clear to the people that knew her from her past

Kanroji Sakura had changed but became a better version of herself

But her highest priority still was her family
